- Tania Mylonas (9/5): Amazing views and privacy - View was lovely. The place itself was fantastic with a self contained kitchen and plenty of space for a family and even a 2 car lock up garage!!! The place is very clean and quite private which we really enjoyed. We would definitely come back again. When you have very young children the walk from Hastings Street to the villas are a bit difficult however that is only a minor issue.

- Paula (6/5): Know that is uphill - The space was really nice, and the apartment is very modern and well decorated. It has everything you need to have a great stay in terms of facilities. Firstly, it wasn’t mentioned that the property is located uphill. I travelled with my parents, who aren’t particularly old, and it was quite difficult for them to walk up and down to the beach. We ended up having to drive, which defeated the purpose of paying more to stay close to the beach and avoid parking. Secondly, after the room was cleaned, one of my pillows (which I had brought with me and use daily) went missing. I reported it immediately — they said they were looking for it, but not only was it never found, I also followed up after my stay and didn’t receive any solution. For the price we paid, I expected a much higher level of service. While it’s “just a pillow,” it’s a personal item that disappeared right after their cleaning, and I believe it should have been replaced.

- Melanie (10/5): A fabulous oasis in the trees but close to the bustle to make it interesting. - A secluded oasis surrounded by the canopy of the trees. Just 5 mins from Hastings Street. The pool was chill and super clean- we didn’t think we’d use it much, but it was a welcome respite from the crowded beach. Residence #7 was well appointed, and a perfect space for everyone to relax in different areas, watch TV etc Nothing

It was great for my mum and dad who didn’t have to walk too far. Unit 4 is close to the pool and can get very noisy at times. There was not enough toilet paper in the house and extra towels would have been nice.

- Sophie Paterson (10/5): Beautiful, relaxing and sunny - The residences are just wonderful - lovely and spacious, light, clean and modern. Feels like a treehouse in the oasis. Nice and close to Hastings Street and we had the best time. The houses have all the amenities you will need - BBQ, full kitchen, outside balcony to enjoy breakfast, big bathrooms and comfy beds. Pool was nice. Quiet location. Check-in was a little average. We were supposed to get a code on our phone which never arrived. It was pouring with rain and reception closes at 12 noon so we had nowhere to store luggage or wait, while we waited for someone to contact us with keys. I find it odd that reception closes at 12 noon and doesn't wait until 3pm for check-ins and then leave the keys in a box for arrivals after that time. There is no where to store luggage on arrival.

- Janet (10/5): Excellent stay at well appointed townhouse, close to the Beach, National Park and Restaurants/shops - Really enjoyed our stay at Noosa Residences. The townhouse was well appointed and very comfortable as well as clean. Loved the location being so close to Hastings Street, the beach and the National Park. Reception staff excellent and even allowed us an early check in and later check out which was greatly appreciated. All in all, an excellent stay.

Gorgeous setting and very close to the beach and Hastings Street. Staff were excellent to deal with - very responsive and helpful. We were frustrated by the lack of toilet paper, coffee pods and garbage bags in the kitchen. These are all staples - and sufficient for the entire stay should be provided. Buying toilet paper on the second day of our stay was really annoying and to be honest, makes you feel unwelcome. We had already ordered our groceries so this required a special trip to the shops. We managed (badly) the lack of garbage bags because who wants to buy a roll of garbage bags on holidays! If it really can’t be supplied - perhaps tell guests so they can make arrangements with groceries orders etc.

Rick and Simone were great in contacting us, and helping with our requests. fantastic stay, will definitely stay again. nothing, it was great. would stay again

- Elise (9/5): Simply stunning apartment in the perfect location - Stunning apartment, open, light and airy with views of the rainforest which made it feel a million miles away - even though Hastings St was only a quick stroll. Comfortable beds, and well appointed kitchen. Balconies galore. The pool was lovely! We had a slight issue with the hot water when the weather was overcast - but it sounds like it has a quick fix and the staff were straight onto it.

- 466adamo (6/5): Confirm what you are getting beforehand, great location, difficult to walk with Pram or walker - Don't believe that you will get the room you booked! Stayed for three nights with two groups of adults and a baby. Don't expect to sleep well unless you like sleeping with street lights - only sheer blinds and no curtains on any windows. We booked and paid for 3bd ocean view spa villa with 1 X queen, 1 x king bedroom and 1 x twin single bedroom. Apparently a short walk to the beach - no one tells you that "short walk" is down two steep hills and then back up said steep hills on the return home. And unless you want on road there are flights of stairs. Also, there are stairs to the villa - approx 14 across three flights to get from garage to door - not ideal with a baby either. We got a downgraded to a 3 bedroom no spa (still with some distant ocean view mostly trees though) and 1 x king room and 1x room with two double beds and 1 X room with twin single. Traveling with two couples and a baby meant we had to decide who was unlucky enough to get the double beds instead of a queen option that we were expecting and we couldnt sleep with cot in the room easily as there were two double beds. Not expected at this price range. All of the above could have been overlooked except for the fact there are NO Curtains and NO blockout blinds on any window, and there are streetlights straight into each bedroom so it is as bright as dawn all night - bring your face mask and don't come here with children unless you want to be up all night. Not only was there no spa, there was no bath at all. Instead of a bath there were three poorly maintained showers in the bathrooms. None of the toilets were thoroughly cleaned either. I had to wipe down the lounges as they had dog hair on them and were clearly dirty. The rug was disgusting luckily I brought a baby mat. Bring everything - self sufficient means not more than one a full toilet roll on each toilet. No spray and wipe. Dish liquid and laundry detergent was provided though. Positives - beautiful architectural structure - nice linen and towels - good bedding - proximity to Hastings if you are walking well and don't need to cart a lot of stuff - full kitchen and bbq - good air-conditioning in all rooms was a huge bonus Note we raised most of these issues and apparently the villa we booked was already taken so there were no options to change. After a rude response they emailed us a $100 voucher for local restaurant, but given the price we paid for accommodation this insufficient compensation for the shortfalls here. I note there are a lot of great reviews on these properties so maybe other villas don't have these issues, but I wouldn't risk getting stuck in a room I didn't book or pay for again - Will not be returning or recommending.

Huge 3 bed villa, very modern with high raked ceilings, multiple balconies and fantastic views of the bay. Not a concern for us but the walk up hill from town back to the apartment might be a struggle for people who are not particularly fit or active. But you can’t get a view without elevation, right…..?

Easy walk to the main street and beaches but when we were in our apartment it felt like we were a million miles from anywhere. Super quiet. Strongly recommend Noosa Residences.

There we’re electric recliner chairs with zero support and according to management the guests are not allowed to use the electric recliner chairs. Having 2 children who played in the lounge area it was very uncomfortable for us. We stayed in villa number 2, just think twice if you wanted a comfortable lounge area.

It’s lovely and quiet you wouldn’t think you were 200m from Hastings Street. We can’t fault it at all and will definitely be back! We recommend pre booking any restaurants you want to go to as it’s busy!!! We are very glad we did! The management are only a call away even dropping off toilet paper on Christmas Day!
