• Julie (6/5): - Location for our needs was ideal and the price was right. Having kitchen facilities is nice, but we didn't cook for our overnight stay. The apartment could have been cleaner. A lot of dirt/dust build-up around the baseboards. Bathrooms have very dim lighting. However, when you leave the lights on, they do tend to get brighter. Being a 2 bedroom apartment, there is not ample seating in main living area for four people. Only 2 adults can sit comfortably.

Because there’s no reception at the apartment, there’s no way to access your level if other people in your group have the one apartment key

• Matthew (2/5): Not great at all. Would not stay there again - Location was great and the beds were comfortable. Easy to gain access to keys. I'm not one to leave a review good or bad but i had to make an exception this time. The apartment had a bad smell and was not clean properly prior to check in. Multiple lights not working in the bathrooms The light circuit turned off due to faulty bathroom fans The owner sent a guy to advise us not to turn on the fans and that they can't find a tech to attend. So, for 2 days the bathroom steam took a long time to disappear. I think this issue has been going on for a while as there is mould on the bathroom ceilings and around the grout on the tiled floor. Disgusting. Due to this the owner messaged and provided us with a late check out and asked for a 5 star review. I wouldn't recommend this apartment. Not sure how the other apartments would be. Recommendations: Fix the mould in the bathrooms and fan issue Paint the mould ceilings Replace the faulty downlights. Pretty easy and cheap things to complete especially when the 2 night stay cost over $900

• Emily (7/5): This rental is a reliable basic accommodation. - Key collection was easy and host generously gave us late checkout. Location and view were fantastic. Apartment could have been cleaner. Countertops still had residue from previous guests, bedding contained some stains, and door handles were loose on most of the doors.

No table and chairs to sit at comfortably Cupboards in bedrooms, full of spare linen, very untidy and the space should be for the person paying for the apartment! There was an aweful smell, fish, cooking etc in the apartment most of the time.
• Hayley (3/5): - Good location The apartment did not meet basic safety or cleanliness standards. During our stay, I stepped on glass in the living room and cut my foot. I also identified an unsafe electrical power point that was coming away from the wall and a screw that fell out of a stool, creating another hazard. Cleanliness was poor: hair in the shower, bottles and plastic under the beds, and the apartment appeared not properly vacuumed. I reported these issues promptly. The property did not respond at any point. Based on my experience, the property was not properly cleaned or safety-checked prior to arrival.

Ni fan or aircon in bedrooms. Linen closet open for anyone to touch clean linen for next gusts. It was stored in bedroom wardrobe. Couch was very uncomfortable and wobbly like legs were going to fall off. Lucky didn't need to use ironing board either

• MARIA (9/5): Excellent location, comfortable and very clean SPA and pool area, nice apartment overall. - Everything was very good, very good conditions in the spa and pool But there’s a serious issue: the host only provide one set of keys. This meant my friend had to get up at midnight every time I came home from work. It didn’t allow her to rest properly and also made many logistical things difficult while we were each doing different activities. Please provide two sets of keys when guests need them, or offer an alternative way to store the keys, such as a lockbox with a code outside the building.

• Kristi (3/5): Very disappointing. - It was close to the station It was extremely noisy. The windows wouldn’t close and there were creaking noises all night from somewhere in the building. I had booked for a second stay later in the week but have consequently cancelled (with no refund) due to this poor experience. Unfortunately I would not book this apartment again, or recommend to anyone else.

We also loved the view from our apartment. Each room had a floor to ceiling view of the city. - The hair dryer did not work - There were no wooden spoons or a pot stirrer, and the tongs head had melted, so they were unusable - The vacuum cleaner did not work as the head was broken - There was only 1 dishwashing tablet, but heaps of laundry liquid, which seemed strange, and was unhelpful - When we arrived, the bench tops had not been cleaned properly and the rug in the lounge was dirty. - the bean bag was split so beans spilt all over the floor, and when we messaged the host with our concerns, he did not reply - The kitchen sink did not hold water with the plug in it.

When we got in the apartment there was some sort of liquid spill in the lounge and found hair on the bedding also bathroom was filthy(lots of hair and pile of dust on the drain(drain between shower door) Couch was so uncomfortable(not even, I guess couch sitting is worn out so uneven)

• Gemma (6/5): Great location although lots of maintenance required on the property. - Great location. We were offered late checkout due to apartment not being ready at advertised time. Unfortunately, the property did not meet expectations. The kitchen was advertised as well-equipped, however many essential items were missing or unusable, including a chopping knife, peeler, and adequate utensils, and there was only one wine glass provided. The bathrooms had several maintenance issues: exhaust fans were not working in either bathroom and only one light bulb was functioning in each. Overall cleanliness was also below standard, with the property requiring a thorough deep clean. Practical information for guests was lacking, as there were no instructions provided for rubbish or general house guidance. The fridge still contained food from previous guests, which was disappointing. The dining area was not functional, as the chairs were very unstable with screws missing, making them unsafe to sit on. Storage space was also limited, with cupboards filled with excess linen, leaving little room for guests’ belongings. Additionally, there was no dryer available as advertised and the Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor, which impacted our stay. Great location though.

Dusty and the backsplash was greasy. Wifi didn’t work, contacted staff and all the did was apologise and didn’t try to fix the issue.
• Ariana (2/5): Yikes. This was a disappointment. - I liked the location. I liked the layout. I thought the persons working the Aurora desk were a delight. They really went above and beyond. Listened and tried to assist with the issues around codes to collect keys and access issues and helped solve the issue. When the tv wouldn’t work the gentleman on desk came over to try and personally fix the issue and was super polite about it. I would rate staff 5 star in responsiveness and politeness, genuine engagement,effort and problem solving. What we didn’t like was non negotiable. Just wanted to relax and watch a film but we’re just left with free to air tv because wifi down. Last night in the city and a solid plan to relax and eat in with a movie -nope. The place was a little run down and could use some tlc, but that was largely forgivable until s wing how bad the bathroom cleanliness was. Spatter on the walls next to one of the toilets. Old vomit? Could be. Hair clogging up one of the shower drains so badly it nearly overflowed out the door within two mins- saved it with the towels mainly because I didn’t want to be blamed for any of after damage. Towel rack fell off when putting towel on the rack. Sticky bathroom cupboards and old glass stains as well as debris on carpet. Gross ‘slime’ stain on pillow that was on my bed. Seems that someone stole the sim to the router and so no wifi and no access to anything other than free tv which could have been checked before we arrived/replacements available. Not booking again. It’s not a cheap hostel where you can overlook these things. I’m going to skip serviced apartments after this to be honest. I have photos in case the owners would like them but I don’t think it would be polite to upload them.
• Caitlin (10/5): Great value stay with a breathtaking view of the city lights. - Recently stayed with my 2 children and check in was smooth, beds comfy and soft and the view was to die for. Manager was nice enough to let us check in early as our train got in early, would happily stay here again! Nothing.

• Vick (7/5): - If you want to deal with robots with no emotions thenthis is the place to be. Nothing wrong with the property. My experience with the booking and the person I dealt with was worst. My first visit in Melbourne after 10 years and I remembered why I did not like things there. Hard to find the property location, Don’t expect customer service, pay go on time and leave. If your flights change or any assistance needed forget it.
