- Claudia (9/5): Gerne wieder! - Tolle, ruhige Poolarea. Sehr gutes asiat. Frühstück. Es gibt aber auch Toast, Cornflakes und Eierspeisen. Sehr guter Service..Koffer bei Ankunft sofort abgenommen. Nahe Sundaymarket, 400m zu Fuss und Shuttle to Nightmarket. Preis/Leistung passt. Ich würde wiederkommen! Das Hotel ist eher hellhörig. Die AC ist deutlich zu hören..mich hat es nicht so gestört, da ich die AC nur jeweils vor dem Schlafen einschalte. Raum C05.

Pas du tout commercial, surtout 100 bath pour un verre en Thaïlande, un peu cher!!!

Especially the chap who arranged a taxi to the Tham Luang caves for me and drove me to the night market most evenings. A little far to walk into the centre, about a 25 min walk but not such a big deal.

- Pim (7/5): Goed hotel met fijne ligging in de stad. - Voor Ching Mai een kleinschalige locatie met erg schoon zwembad. Goede lgging ten opzichte van het centrum, night bazar en walking street. Deluxe kamers waren verouderd. Wij namen een upgrade die veel beter was. Alle kamers zijn erg gehorig en het ontbijt is simpel.

Pudimos lavar ropa por un precio bastante bajo. Y nos ofrecieron traslado de ida y vuelta al night market (pagando un precio justo) En la habitación no había aire acondicionado caliente y por la noche refrescaba y el agua de la ducha si la queríamos caliente teníamos que ponerla a muy poca presión. El desayuno no tenía muchas opciones, pero era suficiente y te ofrecían huevos revueltos o tortilla hecha en el momento lo cual está muy bien. No tienen leche vegetal

Inoltre lo staff è stato da subito molto disponibile nel trovarci un taxi che ci facesse da guida organizzando una sorta di tour; a tal proposito infatti abbiamo conosciuto una persona straordinaria di nome Visan che porteremo sempre nel cuore. - Ewa (2/5): - The staff were polite and did help with our luggage, which I appreciated. Check-in was smooth, and everyone we interacted with was friendly enough. Unfortunately, almost everything else about the stay was disappointing. The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable, so I struggled to sleep. The location also felt quite far from the centre, which made getting around less convenient than expected. The pool didn’t look clean enough for me to feel comfortable swimming in it, which was a shame. Breakfast was another letdown — we paid for it but could only manage to eat it once because it just wasn’t good or fresh, so we ended up going elsewhere. Noise was a major issue too. We could hear dogs and roosters throughout the night, and the room didn’t seem soundproof at all, so we were woken up multiple times by other guests being loud in the hallways. Overall, despite the nice staff, the stay wasn’t comfortable or relaxing for us.

- Jasmin (8/5): All in one we will stay again. - We been to Maryo Resort now the 4th time and it was always great. Beautiful surroundings and garden. Huge Breakfast Buffet. The Swimming Pool as to much Chlorine in it. Our Son white UV swim shirt go yellow/green this didn’t happened last year we been swimming at Maryo’s.I can imagine if you have bleached hair it will turn into greenish. And there was once a free Night Bazar Shuttle wich you have to pay for it now.

Rooms are big and could easily be made a little bit more cosy with different lighting and if the walls weren't painted yellow. Good bathroom, unlimited hit water. Nice basic breakfast with egg station for omelette or scrambled or fried etc... Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Pool is a nice temperature for long soak 😊

Was nice for a change! Rooms were comfortable and spacious Nothing comes to mind Maybe that the laundry prices were expensive but the staff were very nice and helped us with washing just one towel

- Jessica (4/5): - This was a subpar experience for us. The room was very dated. The AC had issues and leaked water all over the window sill and floor. The shower didn’t make sense, it was a walk in shower but the water went everywhere. The breakfast was limited and perhaps it’s no surprise but it seemed like we were the only hotels guests during our stay.

I would have loved this place without other guests inconsideration Shower in the bath with no anti slip mat. No sound proofing. You can hear A/C, toilet flushing, shower and door slamming from neighbouring rooms. No safe. Need transport to get into town

- Daniel (9/5): 2 nights in Chiang Rai. - Very nice hotel, beautiful garden. Very good breakfast. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On Sunday the breakfast is less fancy. It is about 150 baht tuktuk ride to and from the center of town.

The staff was really sweet and helpful, they didn't speak much English but went out of their way to help us out. Peanut butter for breakfast was out of this world; so were the jams. As a vegan / vegetarian, we had limited options available. They did say if we had informed sooner we could have had more dishes, but we were so happy with the peanut butter & jam that we didn't mind eating that for day 2 as well :D

Well as the weather was such bad during burning hot seasons would be something for a closed breakfast room. Bathroom are outdated a bit moldy but that’s everywhere in Thailand.

- john (10/5): Fantistic - A very enjoyable stay in an excellent hotel with beautiful gardens and superb staff.I thoroughly reccommend the place and will return when I am next in Chiang Rai. It is a little way outside town but when using the grab taxi app on my phone it only costs about 60- to seventy Baht to the clock tower in the city centre.

AC was loud all night , as well as the next-door guests who got in at 3am, making banging noises and chatting outside on the lanai, every nite. Breakfast was limited. Cafe staff was very young and inexperienced and it showed! The shower was in a tub that was well over 2 feet high and hard to climb9 in and out of.

- Denise (8/5): I'd stay again if they changed the breakfast - Hotel was within walking distance to the clock tower maybe 20 minutes. Staff were really nice except those at breakfast. Room was nice and big. Wasn't sure why there was only 1 bedside table as there was plenty of room for another. So had to use the chair. Windows to the balcony were so clean that my husband never notice they were closed and walked into them at least 3 times. Maybe put some sort of strip across them? Everything was good except the breakfast which let's it down Couldve got a 10 except the Breakfast wasn't great. Not much of a choice. If they were running low on anything it pretty much stayed that way. The 2 plates of fruit never looked fresh. The staff were so miserable looking aswell and definitely not approachable.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Homey little place - The grounds are beautiful. It is a bit away from town and the shuttle is not free? As advertised. No street noise but the roosters are relentless. Very clean. Beds are miserable, but the lovely staff did what they could to fix them. Breakfast is fine, and the two very shy hosts do what they can for you. Amm at front desk was very lovely and helpful, as were the room staff.
- James (10/5): A comfy start at the marvellous Maryo - We stayed at the Maryo for a couple of nights to experience the delights of Chiang Rai. The hotel was in a good location with a few walkable shops (7-Eleven) and coffee shops. Grabs found the resort easily most of the time too - these were needed for many of the major attractions as the resort is slightly out of the way. The resort itself was a lovely place to stay - clean and comfortable with lots of beautiful butterflies flying around the well-designed and managed gardens. It was quiet and calm, which we liked. The room itself was super and exactly what we needed. The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and the amenities were good. The air conditioning worked well and the fridge was very useful! The pool was a great addition but only 6 sunbeds and 2 chairs meant we were unable to use it when a coach tour checked in on our penultimate day. The restaurant on site was pretty good and we tried the included breakfast for one of the mornings. The food and drink was as expected and the hotel tried their best to manage the inevitable flies and ants (although the fruit was best avoided the morning we went!) Check in and check out were easy and the friendly staff were always on hand to help and answer questions and requests. Overall, it was a great stay at a great place. Thank you to everyone there.

- Victoria (7/5): It’s a push to a say it’s a 4* - The staff were friendly and helpful, we had a leaky toilet and they sorted it out quickly. The hotel itself was nice and clean. Didn’t spend much time at the pool but was clean. Breakfast wasn’t great at all, small buffet one day and then had to choice of rice and pad Thai. AC sounded like a plane engine and the fridge also made some loud noises. It said they offer a free shuttle to the night bazaar but you had to pay for this but wasn’t running the nights we were there.

- GERARD (4/5): - Hotel, très bien, mais la personne à l’accueil qui s’appelle Ythara est énormément désagréable. J’ai fait une tache de jus d’orange sur mon lit ils m’ont fait payer 300 baths. Pour la tache c’est la première fois deux ma vie que je vois ça et c’est la personne de l’accueil Qui est venu pour me faire payer les 300 baths Si il y a pas assez de monde dans l’hôtel il n’y a pas de buffet. On vous sert un petit bout de fruits et un petit plat pendant notre séjour sont arrivés un groupe et nous avons eu un vrai petit déjeuner mais autrement pas grand-chose mais l’hôtel est convenable, sans la personne de l’accueil.

There was a festival happening during our stay at a location some distance from the hotel, but the music coming from the venue was disturbing loud from about 9 pm to midnight. (We tended to go to bed about 10 pm) NOT THE HOTELS FAULT - OF COURSE! Nothing they can do, just something to be aware of.
