• Benzon (10/5): Excellent! - The room is quiet, and the air conditioner works very well. The bathroom, including the toilet and shower, is clean and comfortable. The owner is incredibly kind and generous, often providing complimentary food and drinks. There is parking available in front of the inn, and the area is not crowded. It’s also within walking distance of the beach and convenience stores. When it comes to food, there are plenty of street vendors offering breakfast and dinner options. During my stay, the weather was extremely hot, so I preferred to remain indoors during the day and go out early in the morning or later in the afternoon. I had no negative experiences during my stay, especially considering the price—it was very budget-friendly.

Somewhere to lock valuables would be useful, especially when there was no lock to the room. Also, somewhere to sit and 'work' would be useful too.

• haifeng (9/5): - Transport is convenient: there are songthaews right at the entrance, the night market is just a few hundred meters north, and there are motorcycle rentals opposite. The hotel provides free coffee and water, which is great, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. However, the air conditioner is very noisy, and the room sound insulation is poor. Overall, it offers very good value for money and is suitable for people who sleep well.

• elena (7/5): - The location of the hotel is great; it is just off the main road and within walking distance of the two weekend night markets. The bed was comfortable. Bed linen and towels clean but old. The room was very small (15 m²). The pillows were very hard. I stayed for four days, and they never cleaned the room—they did not change the towels or empty the bins, and I had to ask for extra toilet paper. There were no bedside tables. I only paid €16 per night, so I suppose you get what you pay for. Will I stay there again, I don't think so.
• Софья П. (7/5): - The hotel is located near the sea, with a 7-11, massage parlors, and cafes nearby. Fruits and food are sold on the street nearby in the morning and evening. The ground floor has cozy areas with armchairs, sofas, and tables where you can relax. Complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks are available for guests nearby (a very nice bonus). The room has hot water, a refrigerator, a table, and a mirror. The bed is quite comfortable. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy and had trouble turning on and off. Sometimes we had to sleep without the air conditioner and with the window open, but then a lot of mosquitoes would fly in and bite us because there was no mosquito net on the window. And if we closed the window, it became very stuffy and difficult to sleep. I think a mosquito net on the window would have been a good solution.

• Alexandra (10/5): Klai Hat (near the beach) is Amazing Value! - Klai Hat Inn is in Khao Takiab, Southern end of Hua Hin, 1 minute walk to beach, beautiful clean sand, yet areas of tiny crabs, shells. Two story building on pretty quiet street just off main road, 7 11 just across. Hostel has great ac, nice inside room bathroom, full curtains. Most beds are Thai style hard, but one has pillow top. Klai Hat has pretty downstairs seating area with free water, coffee tea and snacks. Amazing value! Some beds were hard, which is common in SE Asia.

There was jam and bread along with instant coffee for breakfast which is nice. I’m a budget backpacker so for me my standards are a bit lower when it comes to “resorts”. Upon checking into the room, staff member was not pleasant, did not say anything to us as we stood a cross the road looking for check in and it surprised me he watched us struggle to find check in without saying anything. Then he rushed up to show us our room while we gathered our bags and did not wait for us. It set a bad tone for our stay. Our room had mosquitos in it.. and they never went away despite having the balcony door closed at all times. The sink did not drain and was very dirty and had not been washed. The light on the balcony flickered. The access to electrical plus was not the best.

The staff is welcoming and reactive to your demands. The AC is very effective. The faucet in our bathroom was broken and leaked water everywhere but it was repaired by the staff rapidly after we told them. However, the bad smell coming from the bathroom was horrible. It even woke us up in the night ! There were quite a lot of bugs in the room too…

I am still in shock but they asked me to change the room despite of my payment done. So i had to move to the room i didn’t want to take. Also, what is even worse : the management told me later that they are fully booked during the dates i wanted to continue to book which was very stressful as there was nothing available in this area. But online they it looked still available and not fully booked. Was it a lie ? or why? Another thing : i was the only one in dormitory and the stuff person was keeping to enter the room without any knocking on the door or asking permission.. so no privacy respected.

The receptionist is very accommodating and allowed me to check in before 2pm. 7-11 and Amazon cafe is just a few meters away and there are other restaurants nearby as well. The beach is just a 5 minute walk from the inn.

• Robert (7/5): Good - 5 minute walk to the beach..Two convenience stores and two night markets. Easy transportation to two shopping malls train station nearby to bus terminals . Plenty of tour guy rental places around. But most of all it's quiet the hair is clean and people are wonderful. That transportation stops too early and a little more pricier than Bangkok

• Dinesh (8/5): Good value for money and quick and easy check in process with helpful Reception guy that I met - Check in was quick and easy. I asked the Reception staff about direction ti the beach and the night market and both were provided readily. Breakfast was not included but free beverage making facilities were provided in the Reception area to help yourself to a drink/beverage. Cups were provided, hot water in a flask was also provided, loose tea leaves in a jar was provided. However, there was no sugar provided and I could not find any milk so had to have my tea without milk or sugar - not the end of the world but would have been nice to have. No staff around in the morning to ask about the milk or the sugar. There is a WC facility in the Reception area which is great if you had to check out and hang out there before you move on to your next destination. No opening windows in the bedroom or bathroom. Room door was catching on the frame so needs attention by way of minor maintenance. Sugar, milk in the beverage making area would have made it more enjoyable to have cup of tea in the morning instead of having to go to the nearest 7-11 shop to get some missing supplies.
