• Teng-Ying (9/5): - We had such a lovely stay here. The place is wonderful, and every staff member we met was genuinely kind and welcoming. They thoughtfully responded to all of our needs, which made us feel truly cared for. The environment is clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect. The meals were absolutely delicious, you can really feel the care and dedication the chef puts into every dish. It made our experience even more special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

La posizione era perfetta per raggiungere sia la stazione che i ristoranti ed izakaya della zona. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo, attento alle nostre esigenze, chiaro nell'illustrare le regole della casa. Sapere il giapponese facilita il soggiorno. Esperienza super positiva.

• Cameron (8/5): A nice afffordable Ryokan in a great location. - The location is only a short walk from the station. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The onsen is a really nice way to finish a day of sightseeing. The Japanese breakfast was amazing.

Nice to have kid toys, books and mangas for guest use. By host, I refer to one female employee working here, as she was the only person we interacted with during our stay. Host would charge for anything additional: they asked approximately 5000 yen for an additional shiki-button (Japanese futon bed), which we declined and made due with my son and I sharing a bed, hence not being comfortable. They also charged us 300 yen for one additional small pillow. When asked for the pillow, host seemed to decide ad hoc how much to charge. Greed was in the air.
• Crys (10/5): Great ryokan, would love to stay there again - Wonderful ryokan that is extremely value for money. Location was a short walk from Tottori Station, and close to a lot of good food (the best ones all require reservation, though). Great private / family bath, beautiful garden, spacious room. They also managed to book a superb masseur for me (4000yen for 40min). This is a traditional ryokan, so shower facilities are communal and colocated with the onsen facilities (i.e. you may need to shower with strangers close by). There is a private family bath available, though you might have to queue/wait for it.

I really loved a Japanese breakfast served in a dining room setting. Just a minor thing. Their towels are a bit tiny and thin for my liking.

Easy to walk with our luggage from the train station, about 7 minutes. Soft comfortable beds (for the western bed), and tea set up in the room. The staff are so eager to help with anything you need through the translation machines, and helped us call a restaurant in town to make a dinner reservation.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a very nice view of their inner gardens. • Anita (10/5): A lovely stay in a peaceful traditional Japanese setting - The place is within walking distance from the train station. There are restaurants within a 5 minute walk away. There is also a mini-mart nearby which sells fruits and bento sets, if you want to save on meals. There is a lovely garden from which can be seen from the room. The room is very big, with comfortable beds and a sitting area to drink your tea while looking outside the window. If you choose to have their breakfast, it is a colourful Japanese-style breakfast. For us, the best part of this place is the use of the private onsen family bath. Anytime from 4pm to 8.30am, if no one is using it, the guests can use it as many times as they want during their stay. No fear of taking a bath in front of strangers. The bath is modern and yet traditional, very clean and well-maintain. We could not speak Japanese and had to use Google translate a few times. The staff responded wonderfully to us. The signage in front of the building is in Japanese. We walked past it and had to retrace our steps when trying to locate it. If your room in on the second level, you will have to climb a flight of stairs. This will not be easy when you check out if you have large luggage.

Everything is good enough of this ryokan, and it is extremely close to the major street. I have nothing dislike about this ryokan

• とりたこ (8/5): レトロな雰囲気の落ち着いた旅館 - 一泊朝食付きで滞在しました。暗くなってからのチェックインでしたが、なかなか良い雰囲気の門構え。エクスペディアだったのでスムーズに入室。入湯税150円だけ追加で支払いました。説明の際に朝食が7:30からと言われ、早くチェックアウトしたいと告げたらすぐに15分早めていただきました。忘年会シーズンで宴会場？は賑やかだったものの、温泉は貸切でゆっくりできました。全ての設備は古いですがとても良い雰囲気を楽しめます。小さな日本庭園もあります。朝食は上品（質素ではなく）で目でも楽しめました。寒い日でしたので、朝から湯豆腐が出てきました。時間があればもっとゆっくりいただきたかったです。鳥取に出張の時にはまた利用したいです。
• ちーぴー (8/5): 昔ながらの旅館です - 駅から徒歩5分、近いのに静かな立地でした。早く着いたので早速温泉に入り、誰もいず貸切状態で熱めのお湯を堪能しました。部屋、温泉とも古さは否めませんが、本当にザ・日本の旅館でした。子どもは旅館初体験で、楽しかったようです。朝ごはんもたくさんでした。ありがとうございました。
• Verified traveler (10/5): Japanese-style ryokan with onsen, very comfortable - Booked this online at short notice. Japanese style suite (2 rooms + bathroom) was very comfortable and there is a true onsen downstairs. Overall the best part of my stay in Tottori. Arrived too late for the dinner but ryokan is close to a street of restaurants with a huge range of food, plus a supermarket.
