El de la recepción de la noche no fue tan amable

- Steve (8/5): - Hotel was good. Rooms were clean but a bit dated and standard hotel grade couch, beds. Pool was nice, the hotel restaurant was very good but expensive. Outside the hotel was a litttle underdeveloped and the walk down to the beach was okay but didn’t feel totally safe as a tourist at night. During the day it's fine though. Nearby public beach is fine, a bit small and crowded on a Thurs evening, but clean enough and nice sand/water.

- Yamil (10/5): - I stay with my son on 2/21/25, the lady at the front desk was very professional (couldn’t get her name unfortunately) she explain everything on the contract, she even came to show me the room, and told me what is around the area. I recommend the restaurant at the property they have brick oven pizza and other good dishes(if you go on the weekend make a reservation) the waiter that take care of us was very knowledgeable of the menu really make me feel at home, after a long day at the beach which is a walkable distance came back to relax by the pool, for my luck he was at the bar good cocktails. My son like it he said “ we have to be back here”

- Ricardo (4/5): - Hi. Hope to help you make a better choice when you go the dominicos property. It was infested with roaches since day 1 hiding behind the cabinet drawers next to the sink. We spoke to manager and the exterminator(guy at front desk) sprayed roach poison all over. We stayed for 6 days and everyday we had to clean roaches 10 to 20 on average and the apt stunk like roach spray. Also the shower heads toilet handles were broken. Apt in pictures is nicely decorated. Real apt is in bad shape and in need of work. If you can go somewhere else...

Found the bedbugs on the last night of our stay, after my daughters complained of many bites on their back and arms. They charged us extra for the consumption of electricity despite the fact it was never mentioned in the reservation. Wifi was useless. Even the towels were very low quality, very thin and small. Awful place to stay.

- Kevin (8/5): - It was nice and spacious w kitchen. Pool was great. Be aware that you have additional fees based on electricity used as this is an apart hotel. They also gave a duster property that has a big pool w water slides ( closed Wednesday). You have to drive to get there and communication to get in could be hectic. I’d recommend staying there as the price is like $25 dollars more A night and you are right on the ocean and right next to the natural refuge land!! It’s called Caraques or something like that.
- Staton (6/5): - So what you are doing here is renting a condo from a company that runs a hotel. So anything wrong in the place is up to the owner. The lights in our stay were different colors and low wattage, making it all a bit weird at night, and unnecessarily dark. I don't like electric stoves, and that the person or people staying are also paying the electricity, not an awful concept, but for a place this expensive, adding insults to injury. We liked the location mostly. Local drivers working for the various resorts are aggressive and really don't care about the tourists, so drive with care. the beach is shallow and lots of coral so be careful, that said, it is also right next to a national parks, go for a beach walk or hike in the forest, bring bug spray. Oh and if you want to cook your own meals, go to Jumbo, which is a 15-20 minute drive away, your wallet will thank you.
- Ivan (2/5): - Very disappointed with the service of the staff. To start with, I did not realized that my reservation was without breakfast, and they charge 10 dollars per person or a mediocre buffet. I complained for this but could not reach an agreement with the staff. I ended up having breakfast at another location. They only provide one towel per person (Bath towel). No hand towels, pool towels, or additional towels. We arrived at 5pm and the room was not ready... We stay 3 nights and they never went to clean the room or change towels or linens. Parking is outside the building but very uncomfortable, sometimes it was full and you have to park almost on the street. But the worse was the bill. They charge for power an astronomical price that does not make any sense. We paid almost 20 dollars and we only slept there and used one AC only. They charge power and food in pesos, which they convert into dollars at a rate of 51 pesos per one dollar, witch is a lot less that the official rate. But at the end they convert the dollars again into pesos because credit cards in the Dominican Republic only accept charges in pesos. There they use an exchange rate of 54 pesos per dollar witch is again far more than the official rate. I had to argue with the staff so that they did not do that to me. I felt they wanted to screw me!!! Will never go back to this property. Do not recommend at all.

- Jean-Nicolas (4/5): - Nous avons réservé pour le Flamencos, à notre arrivée, il n’y avait plus de chambre disponible. Nous avons été reloger dans une chambre sur un resort (Cadaques) à dix minutes de route plus loin. Nous avons accepté la relocalisation car l’endroit était directement sur la plage (ce qui n’était pas un critère pour nous au départ). Nous avons déposé nos bagages et sommes sortis de la chambre en laissant l’air climatisé allumée, lorsque nous sommes revenus le soir, il faisait extrêmement chaud dans la chambre, l’air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons dû appeler au Flamenco pour que quelqu’un vienne vérifier si ce n’était pas plutôt parce que nous n’aimions pas la chambre. Une heure plus tard, ils nous ont offert une chambre qui sentait la cigarette et avait un tout petit matelas en guise de lit, ce que nous avons refusé. Nous sommes finalement restés dans la chambre sans climatisation en demandant d’être relogé le lendemain. Le lendemain, on nous a dit qu’il n’y avait pas de chambre disponible au Flamenco mais ils nous ont fait la promesse que l’air climatisé serait réparé avant la fin de la journée. À notre retour l’air climatisé était fonctionnel mais pas très forte, même au maximum, nous avons eu chaud.
- julissav2017 (10/5): Great Place! - This is our first time to Los Flamencos and it is for sure not the last one! I went with my family and some friends. We rented 4 apartments and none of us had any issues. All apartments were clean, complete and everyone from the staff was friendly. The pool is very clean. They have a small restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for great prices. The beach is very close and there is a street at night time with stores and restaurants that you can visit. We really recommend this place.

- 81amyi (10/5): Perfect Staycation - Came here with some girlfriends for a little getaway (we work in the area). We were so happy with our stay. We received a welcome drink by the pool and were able to get into our room early which was fantastic. The apartment itself was a home from home. Beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The pool area was beautiful and we loved exploring the local shops and restaurants. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend to anyone looking at places in the area!
- Rosappm (10/5): Excellent! - We stayed at one of the apartments they have at Cadaques Caribe and start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was in excellent condition , the village is just beautiful and the service received from the Flamencos team was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!!!
- 342damarism (4/5): Not for me, no beach - The flamingos Dominicus Bayahibe. The Wi-Fi never worked The hotel and apartments that we booked 113,114 were clean. This hotel is far from the beach, it is far from the city also actually in the area where it is located there is no entertainment. You have to pay for the light apart from your payment for the room. The place is spacious and comfortable, the beds are Queen. Includes a sofa bed but you have to ask for the sheets at the reception, they provided 4 bottles of water. The kitchen does not have towels or paper towels to dry your hands. The scrubbing sponge and the kitchen drying cloth were worn and old. They have no washing machine, no microwave, no dishwasher, no iron. They do have all the utensils to cook in the apartment and have a hair dryer. The shower has almost no pressure and inside the bathtub there is no where to put the soaps or bottles of Shampoo, very uncomfortable. They do not provide soap for bathing. Outside the apartments and in the reception you can see a very nice decoration but inside the apartments there is not even a picture on the wall the rooms have nothing of decoration and the bedding is of poor quality. The towels were dingy low quality . The pool is large and very beautiful. All the furniture is of good quality. Our apartment had a very unpleasant strong damp smell. I do not recommend this place. Thank God we were there for one night only. They're better hotels within the area.
- Poljg (4/5): Nice property, but... - You have to pay a separete electrical bill per day of stay wich is at a extremely high price. For our stayed (3 nights, 4 days) we were charged rd$1,300 wich i found ridicously high since we spent most of the days outside the apartment and ac units were only on at sleep time (off during day). On top of that, when we arrived, we signed a property rules of conduct that stated no high volume music in the pool area and no drinking inside the pool, both rules ignored by several guests at the property. I get young people want to have fun inside pools with their friends but they need to be reminded thats not an adults only property, there are families with children on property.

I was not told that i had to pay for electricity when i checked out. Parking on the property was a hassle. Not too many amenities on site that we seen. It just was not convenient. - sgerenski (10/5): All you need for a relaxed vacation - Rooms are spacious and hotel area is beautiful (pool, greenery). People are nice, Federico for example was helping me to find a restaurant we wanted to visit and he even drove his car to show us the way. Hotel is not so far from the Playa Dominicus (walking distance), so it offers good value for money.
- Keith N. (8/5): Extremely nice. - The location was extremely nice. It was quiet and secluded. Everything you need is there. Recommend. We had a few problems. We were on the first floor and there was a clog somewhere in the line. We got some water in through the kitchen sink and a few ants. Otherwise, perfect stay.
- Urbaneiress (8/5): - There are some unforseen expenses including an electricity rate and deposit. I also find they are more convenient to Punta Cana airport which is about a 45 minute ride as opposed to 90 minute ride from Santo Domingo. Traveling to wither airport is expensive if you are traveling alone expect to spend between 60 to 100 depending on which airport and your ability to negotiate. I did not find the best food options on the ground and it was overpriced as well as a bit unimpressive. Access to the towns is fairly easy if you dont mind taking there public transportation which can be bit tricky as well.
- RobyM43 (10/5): Perfect beach location! - I travelled with a friend for a weekend of beach and sun and Flamencos Aparthotel was the perfect place to stay. We booked via Airbnb and stayed at Cadaques restort in one of the apartments managed by Los Flamencos. The resort was perfectly located on a stunning beach with a beautiful pier and multiple pools. Definitely recommend!
- mariekeg681 (8/5): Nice and safe apt On resort in bayahibe - I spent 4 days in a 2-bed&bathroom apt that I shared with a friend. IT was big enough to each enjoy our privacy. IT was spacious, clean and secure, situated On a resort which consists of a hotel and apartments. If you like Some days of relaxing and swimming, this is a perfect place to stay. Nice sunbath deck and Beautiful sunsets. Ie speciale enjoyed the friendly service at both restaurants, where they would arrange Vegan meals for me. Henry, the manager from the beach restaurant is extremely kind and servicial. Communication with Carmelo (from Flamenco apartments) was always constructive and servicial.

It has a nice spacious pool with enough parking and an excellent restaurant with delicious delicacies. The rooms are comfortable, with dining room, kitchen and a balcony for a good rest. It also has a highly trained, friendly and attentive staff. thanks to Carmelo for his unconditional help, we really enjoyed our stay in such a wonderful place, they made us feel at home. recommended

- brandyj151 (6/5): Great place but read the fineprint - The location, apartment and facilities were excellent. As well staff at restaurant was great and very friendly. Plenty of space to enjoy and great little town to enjoy truly steps away. Beach is crowded and I’d estimate about a mile walk. The reason why not more stars is to do with the way they handle payment and hidden charge for electricity. We paid down payment on paypal. No additional fee. When we arrived we were then told credit card payment would include a 28% fee. We asked if we could do via paypal so we didn’t have to do multiple ATM withdraws. After we did paypal payment they charged us $90 at check out for a commission fee. As well when we checked in they let us know electricity was not included in rental fee and we’d be charged for what we used at end of stay. I went back in to make a new reservation to see if I missed this but it is not noted anywhere like other renters do. Overall our stay increased by 25% due to all these hidden fees. So renters beware if you are on a tight budget.

- Rockyia (10/5): Our Private Beach Apartment - The great service begins since the moment your reach them to make your reservation, they have an excellent reservations team in our case Mariandrys is always willing to assist you with any request. Los Flamencos is a beautiful complex located in one of the best areas in Bayahibe. Apartments are brand new, clean, comfortable for a party of 6 and well equipped, A/C in all areas and with a nice pool view. Areas around the complex and both pools are always beautiful and well maintained. The complex is a short drive (5 minutes or less) to Bayahibe Dominicus Public Beach, pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, disco. Last time our daughter was sleeping during check out time, we asked in front desk if we were able to extend the check out process for half hour and pay any difference, 5 minutes later, Carmelo contacted us and his answer was, let the baby sleep, don't worry about the time and don't worry about paying any difference. We usually don't like repeating places, since we prefer discovering new ones. Flamenco is an exception to that rule since we have been to Flamencos several times and we have already planned our next stay. We consider Los Flamencos our private beach apartment!!!!

- Tony (6/5): It'd Be Better if They"d Care to Fix Things - Very spacious apartments with so much potential but ownership/management try to squeeze every cent out of you without helping you with your requests. Paying $25 for cleaning plus $25 for electricity for three days which we were very diligent to conserve was not OK with me. One shower wasn't working, one toilet wasn't flushing, no lighter for the stove, the person came to see it and told me it was going to be fixed next day. No one showed up. Please stop calling hotel, it ain't. They are apartments where you do pretty much everything.

Great day trip to somoa island on catamaran organised by reception. Staff were great.also close enough to do a day trip to capital San Domingo.pretty chilled out place. The breakfast is very nice only about 6 dollars. Can recommend.
