• Gunesika (8/5): - The breakfast, the cozy ambiance and the staff hospitality were exceptionnel. There were some small dead ants on the sheets and the pillows. The mattress was a little wrecked and some pillows were very hard. The texture of the towels were a little weird and couldn't dry your body properly. Finally, there were multiple bed bugs and we got bitten.

Nuestra habitación en la primera planta tenía un balcón con vista a la laguna. Se señora en la recepción el segundo día quería cobrarnos otra vez aunque ya habíamos pagado, al fin se resolvió, pero podría haber una mejor comunicación entre los empleados.

L'excursion proposée par Ricky était magnifique (oiseaux, crocodile, baignade...). Pensez à demander les bracelets pour le parc national si vous souhaitez aller à Los Colorados après.

Das Hotel bietet Bootstouren zu einem fairen Preis an, welche sehr zu empfehlen sind. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war nicht besonders hell, da es nur ein Fenster zum Innenhof des Hotels gab. Kein warmes Wasser verfügbar und schlechtes Wifi.

Buona colazione inclusa a partire dalle 7:30 (omelette, pane tostato con burro e marmellata, frutta). Un po' difficile mescolare l'acqua calda con quella fredda, spesso è bollente. Il wifi va e viene.

Difficile de comprendre le fonctionnement de la douche: en fait, il faut laisser couler l’eau au moins dix minutes pour avoir l’eau chaude. Et ne pas tourner le robinet d’au froide!

Tout est globalement bien pensé et une bouteille d'eau, ainsi qu'une cafetière sont même mises à disposition. Le lieu est tranquille. Le personnel est sympathique et arrangeant. La sortie en bateau dans la lagune proposée par Ricky est intéressante. Le petit-déjeuner, inclus, est bon et copieux. Une suggestion : nettoyer les fenêtres, surtout quand elles ont vue sur la mer.

We took a 'Ricky Tours' boat ride through the mangroves and had an excellent 2.5 hours - knowledgeable boatman, lots of birds, crocs etc. A good cheap restaurant close by is La Barracruda. Bring mozzi repellent if you venture into the mangroves.

• Janessa (8/5): Very good - The staff here was really lovely; they were able to answer all my questions and went out of their way to make sure I was doing all right. The breakfast they served was also really hearty (eggs, toast, spreads, fruit, coffee, etc.): very filling. The rooms were also really comfortable and the showers were great. It's a small town too, so everything was walkable. I did find that they asked for tips quite a bit, and I think I would've felt more comfortable tipping if I didn't feel so pressured to do so.

A small village with amazing nature. For a long time, it was boring, with nothing to do in the village. 2-3 days is enough.

Ricky, our guide explained all the animals very well. Nothing I could say I did not like, as always drive carefully on the roads, many holes.

• Richard (9/5): A great stay in a small hotel with nice views of the lagoon - Very friendly hosts, who whilst not speaking much English, were very helpful and extremely accommodating. The property has a small swimming pool which we missed when booking so that was a nice surprise. The breakfast was fairly basic but perfectly good for the money we paid. They also organised our tour of the biosphere reserve for us, which was highly enjoyable. The room we were allocated was in the main part of the house and we could hear lots of noise and every conversation when we checked in. However, by 8pm, we heard nothing at all and had a peaceful night's sleep.

We booked a tour to the lagune via the hotel which was awesome. Breakfast was quite big. Very nice hosts. Everything is very basic, but for one night it is fine

I'll just add to my previous review that Posada Merci had the most comfortable pillows of the 10 hotels and BnBs we stayed at during our Mexico vacation. Their excellent curtains meant we had the darkest room for our good sleeps there. Merci Posada Merci!

• Shawn (10/5): A Nice Stay at a Nice Hotel with Nice Staff in a Nice Town. - Good breakfast. Obliging and warm (kind) staff. Could have used more hooks in the room. The cleaning products used smell too strong (chemical perfume). This was a relatively small matter compared to our great overall pleasure of our 5-night stay. I would highly recommend Posada Mercy.

It was great: 400 pesos each in a boat of 4 with Ricky for a 3 hour trip around the lagoon and to Laguna posada. Room was quite small but comfortable, with a view of the sea

Breakfast included - no options given but were offered toast, eggs, yoghurt, coffee / tea and some fruit. We tried to book a boat tour with the hotel and there was no availability, which was fine because there are other boats in the harbour willing to offer deals. No options for breakfast other than what was offered. If you have dietary needs I’m not sure they will be able to cater for you,
• Judy (10/5): Exceptional - The location is awesome, one block off of the water. The staff is incredibly intentive to your needs. They offer a tour of the biosphere that was wonderful and at a very good price. Our package included breakfast, and it was delicious. A Full breakfast with coffee, juice, yogurt eggs, and toast. such a good value for the rate.

• Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel that exceeded our expectations! Theowners are very nice and friendly. Located rigjt neat the beach. Clean rooms. The owners also have a few boats and provided a great 2.5 hours lagoon trip for a very good price! The lagoon trip is highly recommended as we saw so many exotic birds and even cracodiles and flamingos! This definitely was one of the highlights of our trip - thank you!
