Timothy (10/5): - There is parking both in front of the hotel and across the street. Check in and out is easy. Old but clean and safe hotel, and reasonable rates.

However, its also parking for the the tenants that live on the same premise as the parking lot. Room, had ants all around the desk area. Room was HOT. Staff, speaks NO ENGLISH. It was pretty noisy at night but that was only because it was extremely windy at night. Breakfast in the morning was very good. All in all it was a brief but lovely stay. It was close to the airport for our flight in the morning.

Hotel location is near Liberia Walmart, and a short drive from downtown Liberia. There was also construction underway during my stay, (the addition of a restaurant) which will be nice im sure, but created a lot of unwanted noise during my stay. Great hotel for solo travellers or couples on a budget

Nishat (10/5): - It was a nice quick stay unless you are expecting luxury! The beds are very comfortable and the AC works great. There is some renovations happening so some noise during the day but night time it's pleasantly quiet and in the morning you can hear birds which was quite zen! Nice restaurants near by like a 15 min walk. There is a Walmart 5 minutes away and also of fast food options. Hope this helps!
sonia (10/5): Easy spot to get to the airport - This hotel was convenient to walk into Liberia for the day and it was great to have the airport transfer in the morning. The air conditioning was good, the shower was good and the area was quiet. Just what we were looking for.

Would have been fine if their restaurant was open but it was closed for renovations and I wasn’t told in advance. The Shuttle is actually just a taxi that they call for you.

Frank (8/5): Del Rio - The front desk clerk allowed is to check in early which was an excellent bonus after having arrived earlier on a red eye. The hotel was undergoing an upgrade so construction was happening but it really wasn’t as important as getting a room and some rest. The room itself was clean and hotel location near Walmart and outside of town was handy. We would return.

It was centrally located from the main highways and fast food restaurants if you’re hungry and arriving late at night. The girl tells us they double booked and they want us to VACATE the room and they would get us a room at another hotel! What? I'm already asleep and my husband has to deal with this woman demanding that we leave. We had already paid for the booking via Expedia and my husband refused to leave. It was not a pleasant experience to wake up to!

The hotel has a small restaurant, and some of the staff knows English, if your Spanish is not good. If you are renting a car, they can deliver the car to this hotel as well, which is convenient. As of 2024 you can get there from the airport with Uber for about $12, the taxi is about $20.

Truc (4/5): - The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood with a nearby bar/lounge. The bar played loud music until midnight so we could hear the thumping which was not conducive to sleep. The bathroom was tiny and the electrical panel is located IN the shower above the shower curtain which did not look safe. Luckily, we were there only 1 night and opted not to use the shower.

He found me on his list and he handed me the key. It's a great value given its proximity to the airport. As other reviewers have commented, it's a great place if you need to stay near the airport before your flight.

Area around the hotel is pretty trashy - walking to the river is gross. Coffee was not free. Old skool suicide shower barely worked.

Note that the building layout has all hotel room windows facing into the courtyard, so you have to keep the curtains closed for privacy whenever you're in the room. Kari (6/5): Basic room, need car, but ok for 1 night. - Check in was good. The gal was nice, bit of a language barrier but we figured it out :-) She arranged a cab for me to the airport for a 4:45am pick up ($20US) and he was there waiting for me (even early) so I was happy for that being reliable. The room was VERY basic. But as clean as it could be. And comfortable enough. The location was not good if you don't have a car and you need food (or anything else) so luckily I returned my rental late and picked up something to eat in the room later as I knew I would not be able to walk anywhere. I had looked online and thought I saw places to eat but when I got there I could not find anything close enough (there is a little cafe at the bottom but it was closed when I arrived). Good enough just to spend the night before flying out. You get what you pay for so overall I thought the stay was fine.

dennis (10/5): Great little hotel - Check in was quick and easy. They had each of the rooms under the names of the guests, and gave us choice of which we wanted. Room was clean, shower was typically Costa Rican, had to adjust for warm water, but it worked really well. Liked the neighborhood.
