- Pao (10/5): Great service and very friendly people. - Unfortunately I was not able to stay due to a scheduling change but I was able to give it to my friends to stay. The host was extremely helpful and flexible in working with me to make it happen. They said it was a very clean and nice place and the hosts were very nice! Will definitely be staying here again in the future!
- Andreas (10/5): - Mottagandet var perfekt, ägaren mötte upp oss utanför lägenheten, han gick och visade oss runt i området. Han gav oss tips och information om staden! Boendet ligger perfekt placerad mellan Ipanema beach och copacabana :)
- Louise (8/5): - Me and my friend had a great time at the guest house and in Rio. Miguel is helpful and friendly. The location is very good, close to the beach and restaurants nearby. It was a bit noisy though as we had the window torwards the street. The room had what you needed and the bed is comfortable but we couldn't close the window cover all the way so it got pretty light early. All in all we're happy with our stay, it was good value for money and we warmly recommend it.
- Mohammad Ali (10/5): This place is wonderful - This was a great stay. Wifi was fast. AC was cold. Shared living room was nice and had a frdige, netflix, etc. The bedroom was perfect. The location was super great. Honestly A+. Hazem the host was waiting for me and even gave me a quick walkthrough of the neighborhood. The included breakfast was actually through a bakery next door and was really good.

Coming to Rio the first time, Joan gave me helpful tips and showed me the neighborhood and helped with most essential things. He is super great!! I nearly forgot to mention that the Guesthouse is perfect located and you have everything you need there!!! I will definitely come back to Rio and to the Guesthouse!! Thanks to Gabi and Joan

- Roland (8/5): the best guesthouse in Ipanema - une fois intégré que c'était un appartement partagé et non une chambre d'hôtel, tout va bien. les gérants sont aux petits soins pour leurs clients. la chambre avec salle de bain privée est excellente. l'environnement est total "rio", génial ! le petit-déjeuner se prend dans une boulangerie en face et il est d'enfer. je recommande (mais ce n'est pas un hôtel)

El unico problema es que no hay lugar donde cocinar, estaria muy bueno que tuviera una pequeña cocina para cocinar o calentar la comida. - Verified traveler (2/5): - Dueño del hotel intransigente, pone su negocio antes que a sus huéspedes. Tuve un problema con el pago del hotel, con mi tarjeta, el cual hizo, a priori que pierda mi reserva(segun mensaje del dueño), por lo que suspendi mi viaje a Rio, pero sin embargo, luego cuando entro el pago, que lo liberó VISA, el dia siguiente a la supuesta llegada mia al hotel, el mismo dueño, me dijo que no lo podia devolver, porque la reserva estaba hecha y se debe cobrar. No recomiendo el hotel por este tipo de personas, q no se preocupan por sus clientes. Ademas por tarifas similares existente otros con baños privados y mas cercanos a la costa.

L'hotel est très bien situé: moins de 5 min de la plage Ipanema et moins de 10 min de Copacabanna. Le quartier est super tranquil. Je recommande
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The guesthouse is very well situated close by to Ipanema beach (at the end of the street) train station is 2 minutes walk. Plenty of restaurants and shops also close by. Gabby and Jaoa are great hosts they are friendly, genuine and always there to help, Gabby even showed me around the neighbourhood on first night i got to the building, even though it was very late, they helped me organise some tours with locals. Great value for money option, would definitely stay here again. Overall cannot recommend highly enough!

Noi abbiamo preso la camera grande con bagno privato. Luminosa e comodo il letto con una grande cabina armadio. I proprietari ci hanno accolto come amici e consigliato. Colazione ottima in una caffettiera sotto casa. Consigliato!

Gabby and Bianca were amazing hosts and were very helpful with showing us around the neighborhood and giving us advice on where to go for food, shopping and entertainment. The lodging was very clean, quiet and well kept. I also highly recommend the tour of Rio that Gabby arranged for us!

You've got everything you need close to you and the Merton station isn't really close as well. I arrived late but they were so accommodating even though my flight was delayed. Talvez por minha inexperiência e pelo que li na descrição do local no Hoteis.com não ficou claro para mim que o banheiro era de uso comum com os demais hóspedes da guest-house. Por esse único detalhe, não reservariamos o quarto, se disso soubéssemos apropriadamente, com antecedência. No entanto, necessário destacar que, tirando esse detalhe, a experiência foi bastante agradável. O casal de anfitriões é bem simpático e atencioso, o conjunto da guest house é confortável e atraente. Imagino que a experiência será altamente satisfatória para quem está familiarizado com este tipo de acomodação (não era esse o meu caso, como dito acima) e busca uma alternativa de hospedagem mais em conta num local com preços tradicionalmente mais salgados.

Very clean apartment with a private room, close to beach, shops, and great local restaurants. I jumped on the Metro at the end of the street and got off at a native mart that had many souvenirs to choose at great prices. I will be going back!!

- DanielFr (10/5): Well located and clean - I stayed for two nights in the guesthouse in September. I chose a room with a shared bathroom. The room decoration is so nice. There is daily cleaning. Nice people There is no breakfast.
- Rupen (8/5): Great Location, Host and Value - An excellent value in a great location. It's near everything in Ipanema and Copacabana. This is a flat converted to tourist stays (above-board). Our room had a private bathroom. Owner is super friendly, helpful and accessible for any questions and doormen in the building are friendly too. When we were there no one occupied the other rooms until one other couple moved in for the last night (who we didn't run into). If all rooms were full I would guess it would have the potential to be a bit noisy if anyone else was not terribly considerate. The only issue: the closet in our room was extremely musty smelling and not really usable so we had to live out of our suitcases for the 5 days...would be good to address this. But otherwise this is a great choice...I'd recommend it.
- CHRISTOPHE (8/5): Idéalement placé à côté des plages. - Cet appartement est idéalement situé à la jointure de Copacabana et Ipanema à 2 mns de la plage ! L'appartement est confortable avec un très beau design, on s'y sent bien. Toujours propre avec un très bon service de la part de Hazem qui est très disponible et accueillant. On a eu aussi la chance d'être les seuls dans l'appartement.
