- Ratnesh (6/5): Overall the stay was good! Though not up to the Hampton standards of other hotels in California! Always room for improve - The property is located in a great location close to downtown Napa and around 25-30 mins from Napa Valley and all the notable vineyards. The hotel is situated inside a complex that includes a cinema and gym. The property itself is catered for Business use but has a great pool and hot tub. The property charges for the car park $20 per day! And not forgetting the obligatory taxes and service charges! Even though we requested a room clean like most hotels and motels in the US cutbacks have reduced this service to ever other day! Something that other markets do not do! The management did offer a parking refund to compensate for this issue.

That you have to pay for parking and it was not specified when I booked. We later learned that if we just parked beyond where the signs were that you had to pay for parking (which was significant — $20+ for one night!) - a few rows from the parking signs, you do not have to pay to park. The front desk does not tell you that which I find to be unacceptable. They could tell you “just park a few rows over there and you don’t have to pay” as I asked them when we arrived if we “HAD” to pay and they said “yes.” The USB connections and some outlets did not work in the room. The floors are very very noisy. We had bigfoot staying up until 3 a.m. above our room so didn’t get a very good night’s sleep. The coffee supplied in our room was 4 packs of Decaf. Should have been 2 packs of decaf and 2 packs of regular.

I asked for a refund because several of my friends who also stayed at the hotel didn’t have to pay for parking. I also think it is ridiculous to charge $3 for a bottle of water in the room.

- Julie (9/5): - It cost 💲 75 a day extra for our dog to be with us, but it was very convenient for having a pet. We could take her down the stairs to a separate entrance and there is a nice trail nearby. For one night with a dog we had never traveled with - it was a good choice.

- Rubio Puentes (8/5): The swimming pool was perfect! - Only two things to mention: the lady at the reception told us that breakfast was from 7 am to 10 am, but we woke up late and went down for breakfast at 9:30 am, only to find that it had finished at 9 am. The other thing is that there was no body soap when we arrived, and when I went down to reception to ask for more, they gave me two small bars, and there were four of us.

- GrandTour142846 (10/5): Great staff support & communication! - Hosted an annual evening event celebrating the work of local non-profits this week and the staff could not have been more accommodating in the lead up, during, and after the event. Jimena, Melissa, and Morgan were supportive, communicative, enthusiastic, and generous to our guest and organizing team. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

- 483petek (4/5): Expensive, bad stay - We had two rooms and paid the most ever for a Hampton Inn ($289/nt x 2 nts x 2 rooms). Our rooms (422 and 426) had a loud noise in the bathroom all day. Sounded like a really loud fan. The door to the bathroom was a slider and it was very hard for my wife to open. I cannot imagine how a child could open it. One of our beds was "squishy". Luckily, we had two beds, so we changed beds at midnight. The final straw was an $18 charge for parking! This hotel is in a shopping center. Parking was in a common area and we parked ourselves. We were not told that when we made our reservation or when we checked in (like we had a choice?). A cheap shot for a $1,100+ stay.

- laurenheller42 (10/5): August Wedding Room Block - We used the Hampton Inn as the room block for our wedding. They did a great job and were well-liked by our guests who stayed there! We were able to expand the room block a few times as it became a very popular choice for our out-of-town guests. It has a good location that was 10 min from our wedding venue (Stanly Ranch) and also a close drive to downtown Napa. Would recommend it when looking to book for a large group without breaking the bank.

It was my first time staying out of town in a hotel with my baby. - PattyR31 (6/5): Beware room 428 - Typical Hampton Inn, clean and mostly up to date. Breakfast was average, coffee, juices, make your own waffles, some pastries, and smoked sausage, and eggs. Was surprised about the parking fee of $18 a night that is automatically added. Read online there is a wine tasting between 5-6!! Sounds perfect for a hotel in wine country!! Unfortunately only on Friday, too bad we were there Monday and Tuesday! One other glitch were the ants in my bed and his little friends around and in the tub!! I told the front desk and they did offer to move us (husband declined). They did offer an ice cream from the treat area instead, (I guess ants don’t like ice cream.) I thought they might want to come change the sheets (they only clean rooms every other day) but nope, here’s a frozen treat instead. We thought we’d left Napa behind us. but on our way to Sonoma I found one of the little hitchhikers on me!
