We stayed here in 2021 and were very impressed at the time. Unfortunately, after returning five years later, the overall standard seems to have sadly declined.

Could actually take a nice bath with hot water on demand. Beautiful garden to relax in and very close to shops if you need something. Laundry service is great!

mwalte548984 (10/5): Family Trip - I will recommend Be Still anytime. One of the few times i was pleasantly surprised at arrival to find that the place is better than what you see on the site. The hosts was amazing, they are doing a sterling job. The initial text before you travel gave me comfort that i made the right choice. We arrived late but they gave very clear instructions on getting in etc. Location is perfect !!!! My new home away from home.

The owners were very nice, they let us leave our car at the property the day we checked out as we took a tour to the dunes. 2 things that would make this place even better, longer beds (they were very short) and better blinds to block out light when the sun comes up.

Its within walking distance to the shops and the beach whicj was a total plus for us (something you should consider when booking a place in swakopmund). The place is clean and its a self catering. Should you not be somebody like me who never intends to cook while away on holiday or for the weekend- most food places deliver and places you can have a feast or a cafe are a walking distance and its closer to spar where you can grab groceries and other essentials. Cant think of anything

Rachelle (8/5): Total peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings. - Our stay was exceptionally good! We enjoyed the ambience, serenity and tranquility of Be Still Accommodation. There are only seven (7) parking bays within the premises which make parking problematic if all parking bays are occupied. You need to park behind other cars which cause a considerable inconvenience as no other car can move since you are effectively blocking all the other cars.

The bell at property doesn't work, the phone number at arrival doesn't work, you need to call another number that you'll receive per mail. In case you haven't a local sim you will live a nightmare. The lady that answered finally the phone was inadequate in her answer.

The outdoor space was very nice, cool, shady and peaceful. There was super secure off road parking. We stayed for a week and felt completely looked after, all in all a lovely relaxing place to stay. Nothing.
