• Ramon (10/5): Una maravilla - Es un apartamento de lujo, es un estudio con todos los detalles necesarios, amplio, muy amplio, limpio, tiene un balcón muy grande donde se puede desayunar o cenar, parking, está todo perfecto, el señor que nos atendió es muy amable y atento, nos preparó una segunda cama en cuestión de minutos, la verdad que es una pena solo haber estado dos noches. Creo que no encontraré otro apartamento igual que este Que la espectativa de encontrar un apartamento igual a este va a ser muy difícil. No me creo que hagan comentarios negativos de este lugar, si hay algún comentario negativo debe de ser un Bot

• Francis (9/5): Superb - Tony and Diana were extremely hospitable hosts. They keep an immaculate facility. I appreciated the recommendation to go to Nin and use the sandy beaches. It was a little farther walking distance to the old town than I would have liked but definitely doable.

The outside area was beautiful too & again very spacious , fabulous garden furniture & lighting too. Extremely quiet at night considering it’s quite a busy area , we were extremely happy with our stay & would definitely return to this beautiful accommodation in a heartbeat ! Absolutely nothing ! Perfect.

The Villa was spotless and beautifully presented with charming little touches like seashells on tables and lavender in the bedroom. Its a short 10-15 minute walk to the harbour where you can take a £1.20 boat to the old town or a 20 minute walk to the old town over the bridge so was very happy with the location, if you dont want to walk Taxis are very affordable.

Ubers were easy to use when needed but we did walk a lot. - Our hosts were lovely, it was a family of kind, helpful & very caring individuals. They really looked after us & nothing was too much trouble if we needed questions answered. We even had a mid week clean which was a bonus for a self catering apt. The whole villa was beautifully kept & everything was first class. We loved it Nothing
• Žan (9/5): Comfort room - The staff was really nice and helped us with everything we needed. They offered us their kitchen to cook in and helped us a lot! Our expectations were high judging by the pictures on Booking. It turned out we got the room, of which almost no pictures are on Booking, with a small kitchen and two separate beds. By this we were really disappointed, and we hoped for more, so be sure to check out the details when renting the room. The neighborhood around the flat is not the best if you want a nice view, and there are pieces of the sidewalk missing when you walk to the city center. Nevertheless it is a good location, but it is probably better to take the car or taxi if you go to the city.

The taxi is very cheap (5.50 eur) so we used taxies after the night out or to go to the beach. Lidl is near by so it was easy to get our snacks for the day! Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The property is exceptionally clean and smells beautiful! We were a bit disappointed with the beds. We have booked double room and we got two single beds pushed together. We would have liked to have a double bed with double bed sheets. Also hair conditioners would have beed appreciated as well as English or local TV channels.

• Perkins (9/5): Quiet neighbourhood within easy walking distance of the Old Town. - Our host was a delight giving us lots of info and a map. He was also very accommodating as we checked in early and were only staying one night and needed to drop bags and park our car so this was very helpful. The room was a good size, the air con worked well and the bathroom was spacious and very clean with additional bonus of being supplied with mini soaps etc. He recommended we used the boatmen to cross to the old town to support the local industry and this was a lovely way to arrive. There was also a small outside area we we utilised when we got home which is a bonus for city stays. Nothing to dislike. It was a 20min walk in to the centre but we knew this when we booked and it was easy to navigate.

The apartment benefits from air conditioning and there is off road parking too. Our host was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. There are two supermarkets within a 5 minute walk, and a few bars / restaurants.

De hjälpte oss att boka utflykter samt visade oss vad som var intressant att titta på. Ett extra plus var att de oxå pratade svenska och kunde fler språk än så. Är otroligt nöjd med resan, rekommenderar verkligen detta boende om ni ska åka till Zadar!

• Beiting (10/5): Home Sweet Home in Zadar - Diana and her family are the best hosts! We booked a cozy ensuite room. It has balcony with sun loungers, big bathroom with bathtub, and a small kitchen. You can watch the sunset on the balcony with chips and beer that you can buy from a Lidl supermarket nearby. You can also walk to the old city centre and beach -- the nice host will tell you how to get there and also give you lots of suggestions about Zadar.

• David (10/5): - A little nervous at first - we arrived later than expected and GPS took us to a back street, so finding property in the dark was challenging. After locating property,the reception office was closed. However, the owner was watching on the security camera and came right over to take care of us. Tony was extremely nice and helpful in getting us to our room. Room was smallest on property, but totally adequate for our one night stay. Modern, clean,with everything needed. Tony gave us tips for visiting the old city center, including a wonderful spot to have lunch right across from the Adriatic Sea. Would stay again for hopefully a longer visit.

• Emma (10/5): Lovely stay with great hosts! - Tony, his wife and his daughter couldn't have been anymore accommodating. From the moment we arrived we instantly felt welcome. We arrived earlier than check in and were offered a coffee in the garden whilst we waited no more than 15 minutes. The room was great, perfect size for two of us and we had the luxury of a private terrace. Any questions we had were answered and Tony helped us book a boat trip which was really appreciated! there was nothing we didn't like! It was around 30 minutes into the town or to get to the beach so for those that don't like walking, you can get the bus or a quick taxi which cost around 50 kuna. We loved the walk so this wasn't a problem for us.

• Frank (2/5): Who rates this place as “superb”??? - This booking was a part of a long European journey. We booked this villa 3 hours in advance, which seemed fine according to the confirmation email, and started driving. Upon arrival there was nobody to meet us. I walked around the house, which I initially thought was a mini-hotel but actually turned out something like an airbnb, but did not see a soul. I rang all the bells with the same outcome. Finally I called the number on the sign and got “the recipient cannot take your call”. Then I called the number stated on Hotels.com and finally somebody picked up. I told then what happened and was told to call back in 5 min. I called back and was told to call back in 10 min. Then I was asked to call another number where a lady said “sorry, it never happed before, but can you wait 30 min and call back?”. The long story short, after over an hour wait somebody showed up to let us in. And then we saw this so called “superb” place: the room seemed damp and was very cold, the bathroom stank like sewage, bed sheets were dirty and I even found somebody’s hair on the sheet, which was disgusting. And the mattress was so cheap and soft that it would probably be better to sleep in our car. That would all be fine for a 2-star hotel, but this place shows 4 stars, which confused me and made me book it!!! Who, I mean, WHO rates it as superb??? The only good thing was the free parking and I assume it was only because we were the only guests.

• David (8/5): Good value and comfortable - As soon as I walked into the building, I felt impressed by the condition of the place and was pleased to have got good value for money. I had chosen the basic double room and in terms of size it was adequate but the toilet/shower room was very spacious. WiFi was fine for web browsing but I lost my connection after uploading 5-6 photos; this happened several times one night. Although, on the whole, I was very happy with the place and the level of service, I have to mention that the chairs in the room were too soft to be comfortable and I had to use a cushion from the bed for support. There is sufficient natural light from a Velux window in the roof and a large frosted window in the bathroom but there is no window you can look out of for any sort of a view. This could be a plus or a minus depending on how private you want to be! The toaster in the kitchenette is a sandwich toaster, rather than a toaster for slices of bread. There is a supermarket 5-10 minutes' walk up the road and the number 7 bus is useful to bring you closer to the old town and the bus station.

• Kate (10/5): - This is the perfect place to stay in Zadar. It’s super clean. There is free parking. It’s walkable to the old town. Staying anywhere down in the old town would be expensive with a car. And you would need to leave your car in a public lot.
• Richard (10/5): a gem of a place to stay - This was a terrific apartment. spacious, immaculate, well appointed kitchen complete with stove, oven, dishwasher. It even had a lovely porch where we could drink coffee in the morning, dinner in the evening. Free parking space directly in front. It is a fairly short walk down the hill to the old town which for some would be a disadvantage but we loved the walk along a residential area.
• Stephen (8/5): A good place to stay - I booked this villa ahead of our stay as it look really good on the website. In reality that was exactly right but I had not realised it was about 1 mile from Zadar old town and down a busy road. However the accommodation is comfortable, clean and the proprietor is very friendly and I would still recommend this place for a short stay in Zadar.The room has some kitchen facilities which are very useful in the morning for making breakfast and there is also a small patio to sit out and enjoy the sunshine in the morning. In all a good place to stay

• MR R (10/5): Villa Diana - A Clear Winner!! - Miss Nina (the owner) is fantastic. Although there was a language barrier, her positive, 'nothings too much trouble' body language stood out. She's a lovely lady, and has very good staff to attend to your needs. Villa Diana is perfectly located - less than a mile from Centre, Bars and Restaurants and Supermarkets nearby. We don't normally do Self-Catering, but this was well worth it. Well done Miss Nina

• Rita (10/5): Our night before Plitvice National Park - We stayed at Villa Diana Zadar for one night. It was very comfortable and clean. We had three people in one room so it was tight, but fine. The host met us after we parked and was very welcoming showing us to our room. The location is very near multiple restaurants in town which is nice. We had breakfast at Villa Diana which was a good spread with a variety of foods. We were the only ones in the breakfast room at the time so we had two worker's full attention. We headed out about 7:30am and it was about a 20 minute drive to Entrance 1 of the Plitvice National Park. It was an easy ride.

The room is big and very guest-friendly. The owner knows all the details to include in a room! (With nice decorations as well) There is free coffee and tea in a nice small kitchen area with stove, kettle, fridge and cleaning detergents for your usage. There is also shampoo and soap in the bathroom. We can park our car at the free parking space. We want to say a huge thank you to the owner who waited us after normal check-in time. Our ride to Zadar had a bit if hiccup and we were also stuck in the traffic, which delayed our time to arrive at the villa for check-in. Thanks for the owner’s patience and help!!

Only thing we found was that the air con didn't seem to work, but we only tried to use it on the last night anyway. Big supermarket nearby is really useful, but walk down to Old Town is about half an hour walk, and bus station is even further (i recommend using Uber, especially with luggage!) Overall great place to stay on holiday though ☺

Other than these, the room is spacious. The condition of the property is great, and the utensils and appliances so on are prepared very well. The front desk was also nice. If you don't mind walking 20~30 mins to get to the old town, this villa will be a good choice.
