- Elia (10/5): - One of the best value hotels I’ve stayed in in Scandinavia. Very clean, easy check in/out, spacious room with actual room to walk around your bed and have open suitcases, and most importantly rooms where you don’t hear everyone else around you. Exactly how it should be.
- Gail (10/5): - Very easy contactless check-in and check-out. No staff on site and there was no QR code to scan for help per the card in the room, but once we found a phone number, we were able to make contact and someone was sent over quickly to resolve a small problem.

Unica pecca: il quinto piano non ha l’ascensore. Si arriva fino al quarto e dopo è necessario prendere le scale.
- Tone (8/5): - Rent og pent hotellrom. Sentralt. Fungerer veldig fint til ren overnatting. Ingen resepsjon eller frokostsal, men du får kjøpt kaffe, brus og sjokolade ved inngangen. Bar vegg-i-vegg på den ene siden og restaurant vegg-i-vegg på den andre siden.

Easy to check in and out on your own (just remember, check in/out code is not the booking code from Hotels.com, the hotel itself will email you a code in the morning on the day you check in. Also, there were only 2 pillows for 2 people (queen size bed )

- Verified traveler (10/5): Overall great hotel experience - Very easy to check in and check out. Very clean and beds were perfectly comfy. Minor complaint - the hand soap dispenser was empty of soap and it took a little longer than expected to get hot water in the tap.

- Yael (8/5): Rigtig godt hotel i Bergen - Super godt "koncept hotel". Du får hvad du ser, og det er godt det du ser. Det var rent og pænt, beliggenheden var i top. Det var utrolig nemt at tjekke ind selv. Kommer jeg til Bergen igen, så vil jeg meget gerne bo her.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - I booked 2 family rooms with 7 adults. The pictures showed full beds while booking but we got bunk beds which were very comfortable. You need to have right pictures and details so that nooking can be done accordingly. This is kind of cheating.

- Kimberley (6/5): Great, no frills hotel… if no problems arise - I’ll start by saying it’s a lovely clean hotel just off the main part of Sentrum. There is only a machine for check in, no staff usually. There is a coffee machine you can buy from and a cold drink machine in the lobby however the cold drinks machine was out of order. There is no fridge in the rooms. When we arrived there was one staff member as we had previously emailed about a two night stay turning into a three night stay. She was extremely helpful in fixing our booking and giving us keys to cover the whole stay. However when the keys stopped working on the the final night (7pm Sunday) it was extremely hard to contact anyone. You need a Norwegian phone number to contact the staff - after a short time panicking, we were able to flag someone to call the staff. They did send us another code to receive new keys once we were able to get in touch. So it all worked out in the end, however these problems wouldn’t have even registered if there had been someone on the property able to help. If you have a Norwegian number you should be fine. Be prepared to be up until 3am as the pub downstairs goes off every night. Or bring ear plugs :)
- Ine (8/5): - Bra beliggenhet og helt tipp topp med tanke på pris. Eneste vi kan klage på er at det var veldig små hodeputer. Skulle ønske den enten var større/tykkere eller at det var to. Stille og rolig var det og til tross for høysesong.
- Halvard (8/5): Greit selvbetjent hotell - Et selvbetjent hotell med enkel standard. Plassering er utmerket, lite støy og sentralt. Litt irriterende at det ikke var noe sted å sette toalettsaker på badet.

The room had no TV, which i have never seen in my 20+ years of international travel. Room was clean and hotel was in a good location. I would have happily paid more for a real hotel had i known these things ahead of time. I hope this helps the next person...

- David (8/5): - No front desk or staff on site. The kiosk worked to get a key for room. Only 1 elevator that does not go to 5th floor, and it was not working on checkout day. Location is great, with less than 5 minute walk to central train station and waterfront.

- Ronald (10/5): - This recently and thoughtfully remodeled hotel as clean, neat and efficient rooms that provide everything you need and nothing you don’t. The automated check in is easy to understand once you have obtained a “reference code” which was not included with my Expedia booking info but can be obtained my messaging the hotel through Expedia. The location is in a quaint neighborhood near restaurants and the Bryggan area. It’s also a short walk to the funicular, which takes you to the top of the mountain where there’s a wonderful view, excellent restaurant, hiking trails, and much more.
