• ANTONELLA (10/5): Coccolati come a casa - L’accoglienza di Antonella é eccezionale. La struttura è in una posizione strategica, vicina al centro storico e ai ristoranti più buoni della città. La stanza era ampia, luminosa e molto pulita. Nonostante sia una struttura nel centro storico, dispone di un ascensore comodo per portare in camera le valige.

• Nunzio (4/5): - Il bagno presenta alcune criticità, la porta semi trasparente satinata non è adatta ad una stanza quadrupla, inoltre no si chiude perfettamente riducendo l'intimità. Il lavabo era otturato e non è stato sistemato durante il soggiorno. La carta igienica non era sufficiente e abbiamo dovuto richiederla. Non ci sono appendini all'interno, gli asciugamani dopo il cambio sono stati riposti in maniera tale da non essere più riconoscibili.

• F (3/5): Good location, really bad experience. - The location of the B&B is really good. In the info we received, check-in was supposed to be until 20:30. One of us started receiving very constant WhatsApp messages asking what time we would arrive. When we decided to call, they said we should arrive at 20:00, regardless of what the info said. Next day, once we were at the B&B, I got an email saying that check-in was until 20:45. I’m summarizing, but we received mixed instructions/info, and the messaging was very stressful. Once we arrived, they were friendly. There was a cup in the bathroom that was clearly used, and no soap in the dispenser. They had to take another dispenser from an empty room. I used the shower cap that night, and it got thrown away and not replaced the next day. The dirty cup was still not taken away. They threw away a water bottle that wasn’t empty. And when I dropped something under the bed, it was very dirty and dusty (I saw a fingernail down there). There is no staff at night, and reception was completely closed on Saturday (one of us got locked in, and she had to wait until the rest of us came back because there was nobody there). If you need anything, they tell you to only message them on WhatsApp. There is another number there, but only one person in the staff spoke English, the rest only spoke Italian. Check-out is until 10:00, we were ready to leave around 9:15, and the elevator was blocked, so we had to carry bags four floors down. Payment has to be in cash (we suspect to avoid taxes) and if you want to use card, you have to go to another B&B they own to pay there (down the road). For us the issue was that the owner who had to take our payment was outside, drinking coffee, so he had to be called. Card payment was not easily going through, and after everything, when we were already driving away, they noticed they didn’t charge us correctly, they charged one night less. So we had to go back out and up to the reception of the other B&B. It’s sad to leave such a bad review, but honestly our time there was...

• Frederic (9/5): Great Hotel, small beds - Beautiful rooms in a fantastic location, very close to the main sights and train station. Owners are extremely friendly and even gave a small tour of the buildings Cisterna. When you book a standard room it says you get a double bed, which is a bit misleading - it's a french style bed, quite small for 2 people. If you want a proper double bed, you need to book the superior standard.

Good communication with the owner. Breakfast was only available in a local bar and consisted only of a coffee and a pastry - an Italian breakfast not a continental one!

Accoglienza ottima da parte della signora Antonella che ci ha dato delle approndite informazioni sulla storia della città facendoci visitare le cantine che fanno parte dei sotterranei e ipogei presenti in questo luogo. • Jacques (10/5): 4 Star with Greaat Hosts - Stayed there for 1 night mainly to visit the town of Materra but we we pleasantly surprised with what Gravina had to offer. Very local flavour compared to the more touristic Materra wich is a 30-40 mins easy drive away. The hotel itself is rated 4 stars and justifiably so. It was impeccably clean, newly furnished with all the amenities required for a very pleasant stay. It had a lift (no no carrying the suitcases up the stairs), a viewing platform where breakfast is served in summer and a quaint wine cellar. The hosts were more than hospitable and their welcome and attention to our needs and multiple queries about the region and Italian way of life were enthusiastically addressed. We wished that we could have stayed longer and will definitely stay there again if we visit this part of Italy
