- Alexander (10/5): Remote and beautiful - After an extremely tough nightly drive along the coastal "road" from Agiassos (very dangerous, not recommended!), the arrival at Kalados Studios was a huge relief. The small resort developed from the owners` original country house has a wonderful "end-of-the-world" feel, and overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The food is simple but in this kind of place, one is always happy to enjoy it. My studio was very nice, had a kitchen, a big balcony, and a great view. Lots of flies though (it was late May), I wonder if it`s a seasonal phenomenon. As there are no shops for miles around, it`s better to buy provisions before arriving.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Very isolated - Very isolated, Very long journey through hairpin bends on mountain roads to the apartments. Around 18 miles back through bad roads to a shop! Lovely bay and Apartments but do your homework.. look on Google maps and don't even attempt to travel there after dark.
- Helene (10/5): Kalados Studios : à réserver les yeux fermés! - Nous avons passé 3 nuits exceptionnelles au Kalados Studios. Au départ un peu inquiets pour l'accessibilité, nous avons tout de suite été charmés par les paysages alentours qu'il permet de découvrir, à travers les montagnes et à la croisée des chèvres, des ânes et des bergers de l'île. Kalados est excentré par rapport à la capitale de Chora mais le sourire, l'hospitalité et la gentillesse de l'hôteliere Dora font toute la différence. Les chambres sont très propres, pratiques et vous proposent une vue sur la mer à couper le souffle; le tout dans un calme reposant. Nous avons également dîné tous les soirs au Kalados Studios et nous en étions ravis, la carte est assez variée pour ne pas s'en lasser et tout est cuisiné sur place. Le must : le poisson pêché le matin même par l'hôtelier et proposé pour le diner aux convives; le rêve grec! La plage de sable est à 5 Minutes à pieds, juste en contrebas de l'hôtel, très agréable aussi car une fois dans l'eau, on y a pieds loin de la plage. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.
