• Andrei (10/5): It would also be nice to update the towels. - The staff is very friendly. Yes, this hotel hasn't been renovated for a long time. The equipment is outdated. But everything is in good working order and works perfectly. The rooms are also very clean.

• Tammy (8/5): - Owner is super friendly. The location is close enough to Downtown for us. Price is great. Bed was a little hard for my liking. Room we were in was closest to South Main and you could sometimes hear cars going by when it was quiet in the room.

The room was clean but it was very bare-bones and it was evident that corners were cut on maintenance. The door didn't have a good seal which let in light and lots of street noise which made it difficult to sleep. The AC was very loud.

• Munson (8/5): Close to VT - Clean rooms were a little dated but best bargain we could find. The staff is super friendly and helpful and goes out of their way to accommodate you. Ideally situated near VT campus and close to shopping etc. Would stay here again. The rooms were pretty basic with concrete cinderblock walls. It looks a little scarry from the outside but the rooms are clean and the place seems very safe. Would be great if they allow pets but will have to check to see.

• Jolene Qu (6/5): Convenient location, but traffic noise - The location was very convenient, close to the main street. The room was spacious and the bedding comfortable. The host was quite hospitable. The room was located close to the street, so traffic noise and loud motorcycles could be heard around 11 p.m. In addition, the room was not well soundproofed—I could hear people talking next door. It would also be nice to have a sheer curtain on the window to allow natural light in while maintaining privacy during the daytime.

The management staff was very personable and Fri - It had kind of groovy retro 1960s Japanese architecture look to the grounds with a pretty little garden and courtyard at center. It was easy to access from the highway and close to Virginia Tech. They did not serve breakfast, but it was close to bagel place, Starbucks, and bakery

It was, what I expected. It was fair priced I suppose. Maybe 3 4 pl If I were not using your service to cheat on my husband. I would give you 5/5. I guess guilt is why I gave a 4. My husband is so good to me. Im a narcissist. I lie to everyone. My husband even said if I open up.. he could move past it and this could peopel us into the future. I can't stop lying. Im addicted. Like other uppers Im a stain on the earth.. But he loves me unconditionally. What do I do with that

But the best part of this hotel would be the owners--they are truly kind, wonderful people who do their best to provide a nice, clean, comfortable and safe place for their customers at a good deal.

If you need fancy amenities this may not be for you. However, if you want a great location, clean, comfortable and all the basics, this is it!

My daughter and I arrived late and were greeted with bottles of water. After we left, we didn't realize it, but my daughter left a blanket behind. The owner texted us and held onto it until we were able to go back for it. We will be back!

• moira (10/5): - Lovely people. This is an older property that has received some cosmetic upgrades, but could use some capital improvements. It was very clean. I do wish they had addidtional locks on the doors - I did not feel unsafe, but there was only one lock - a turn bolt, but no slide bolt or internal only lock at this motel.

• Tammy (9/5): Great value and location - Very convenient to Downtown Blacksburg. Price for the room was great. Room was very clean with plenty of towels and soap/shampoo. The room had a pretty new TV and was just right the right size for our purposes (sleeping during the night.) The beds were comfortable. The exterior is old and worn, but this motel has been around for alot of years. Parking is a little tight if you drive a larger vehicle and the entrance from South Main is a pretty steep incline to get to the motel.
• Weinberg (10/5): while it is dated, it is very clean and the shower pressure is awesome! The owner is so lovely! - I booked 2 rooms and they were able to make it adjoining! it was perfect! The owner is so lovely and kind!

• Phil (10/5): Hidden gem in downtown Blacksburg - You can't beat the location + price combination! Walkable (about a mile or so) to Lane Stadium, so you could avoid parking fees and traffic for games, graduations, and other events. While the facility is older, the staff keep the rooms fresh, clean, and comfortable. They even had a nice size mini fridge and microwave. The best aspect are the people. I get the impression this is a family-owned motel, and they were incredibly nice. I came in late evening Saturday for the Hokie Half Marathon on Sunday. The gentleman at the front desk greeted me, we had a fund conversation as I checked in, and he offered to help me with parking in the back. Moreover, when I explained I was there for the race, they offered a late checkout. I was able to come back, rest for a bit, and shower without being bothered by the cleaning team. The cleanliness, comfort, price, and small niceties make this my new go-to when I'm in Blacksburg.
