They even admit the pictures in the site is very misleading , but the staff did put me into a different room that was better and yes I may go back there one day . To go to a nice beach is far away and taxi drivers try to basically rob you on the fares

Breakfast included but only Philippine style with sausage and ham and rice. Use it only one time because water for coffee only working cold. Location not near to centre: distance not far away from cebu city and the airport but because of the traffic you need a lot more than 80 resp. 40 minutes to the hotel. No divingcentre anymire in the hotel.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Dårligt hotel - Poolen kunne ikke bruges under hele vores ophold. Værelserne og især gulvtæpperne var beskidte. Fik serveret pandekager der ikke var færdigbagte. Det virkede mest som om alle havde opgivet hotellet. Men personalet var søde.

Das Zimmer hat die besten Zeiten wohl schon hinter sich, aber es war geräumig und das Bett war bequem. Alles in allem funktional eingerichtet, aber eben alt. Die Anlage an sich liegt malerisch in einer Bucht, mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Der Pool war ordentlich und angenehm zum morgendlichen Wasserspaß. Das Restaurant bietet eine kleine Auswahl an Speisen und Frühstück. Die Preise sind angemessen. Das Personal der gesamten Anlage ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
- Carlos (4/5): - I went here the other month with my significant other and it practically almost ended our relationship… instead the same day we checked in that evening we booked it for shangri-la and had a 2 night stay there which cost me hefty fee since it was the only place close by that I was comfortable with staying at. This was the first place since being in Cebu that disappointed me. I was supposed to be on vacation for roughly 6 days in Cebu. It didn’t help that towards the end of my stay in Cebu that a cab driver who spoke well English than said I made a mistake to go here with my Significant Other. I am very sorry eyes wide open now about staying in Mactan or Lapu-Lapu. In my opinion as a foreigner I got ripped off and lost over $3000 in total with my trip just there alone… I would come again next time and just book an Air B&B. Altogether I still enjoyed most of what I got to do and see some of it was very beautiful and the hospitality by the bar and food place located on site was so nice a I know y’all are doing construction trying to build up the property but there needs to be warnings or heads up between y’all’s business and the Expedia Webdite/App… this was false advertising I didn’t have access to the amenities like the pool and the beach is more like a rocky dock not safe to go into the water without aqua shoes. Where I come from the beaches aren’t rough or rocky and their is no fear of injuring self. I was lucky enough to book a stay elsewhere…

Pool is overlooking the ocean and it is clean and well kept. You might see a small gecko here and there but they are harmless and cute. Little away from city.

- Colin (8/5): Miss leading pictures, but fine for the price. - The room was fine, but the whole place seemed a bit run down. We were literally the only people staying there. The picture of the pool is very deceiving as well. They make it look like its an infinity pool, however, it is not... The beach is non existent and its kind of dangerous to attempt swimming off the dock. Also, the food was not great and the bar tenders kept spilling our beers or running out of cold ones, so we drank most of them warm. Mix drinks were tiny martini glasses and not good. Theres also a very large sky rise hotel being built over top of the hotel, so we listed to construction noise the whole time, during the day. Staff was friendly though and it wasnt too far from the airport. The price was ok for what we got, but I'm not sure i would stay again.

Especially the carpet and the pool was green with algae. On the positive side the staff was helpful and the food at the restaurant was good. We checked out after two days and went to Tambuli.

This is not a reflection on the staff or restaurant, which were decent. We checked in to Aozora for a week stay over NYE. What the pictures show on Expedia is not what we encountered. Our room was dusty and there was black hair dried on the tub. Worst of all the carpet looked to be 20 years old with disgusting stains on it. Not the nice wood floors you see on the website. On the outside the pool was a disgusting green color. And the property looked in disrepair. We went to lunch and decided we would not be staying there for the holiday. We ended up staying two nights because the next place we picked didn’t have availability for the week. The pool stayed green for the two days we were there. Extremely disappointed with the misleading info on Expedia, and with the condition of our room. Would not recommend.

There is a pier where you can sit and walk, also a terrace and an airconditioning restaurant facing the sea. Continuous jazz music dominant and can be annoying at some point. Food is slightly overpriced but big servings can share together. Complimentary breakfast is plated, simple but ok. Room is a bit simple though clean, nice cable tv clean cr. Furniture and floor old and broken. Location is hard to reach without car or taxis, taxis tend to cheat and charge extra. No shops around needs a 20 min walk to mactan Newtown center. Best part is the friendly staff here and the nice seaview when sitting outside.

- Alvin (10/5): - I really liked staying here. The rooms and surrounds are okay but the staff make this hotel really great. I stayed here for 2 weeks. I asked the cook, Sarah, to make my cornsilog in a slightly different way and she made it exactly how I described it. One morning she wasn't there and I was worried that I would need to explain again. Turns out that she had told all the other cooks how I like it so they knew how to make it without me having to explain it again. 😍 The masseuse is excellent - experienced and skillful! The front desk is superbly helpful. I wished to try taking a jeepney so Divayn explained what to say and how to pay. She even drew a map! 👍👍 All the staff always greet you with a smile and always try smooth and bumps I encountered. Some rooms are in an unfortunate place where it can be a bit noisy from all the construction etc going on outside. It is outside the hotel's control but the staff are great so I would stay here again.

It still needs larger signage for the taxis to see it when approaching and is very hard to get a transport from the hotel. - YUKITAKA (10/5): - マクタン島のリゾートエリアにある海に面した素晴らしい立地のホテルです。日本人の方が経営されていて、スタッフも親切に対応して頂けます。レストランも併設していて、プールもあり、充実した日々を送れます。空港からも、自動車で渋滞がなければ２５分、フェリーターミナルも、徒歩10分圏内、近くの繁華街、ニュータウンまでは、徒歩３０分、交通機関利用で10分です。素晴らしいセブの綺麗な海を満喫するのに、とても良い施設です。

In the bathtub you always have the feeling to break through. No warm water. TV is absolutely not working (so I pulled the plug), wifi bad. Breakfast variety is awful. Staff is very friendly, beds were clean. Read carefully about room service! Two and a half stars definitely are minimum two stars to much! Sorry, never again!

- Yasuhiro (6/5): - 併設のレストランの料理はなかなか美味しいです。ものによっては量が多すぎるので一気に注文せず様子を見ながらの方が良いと思います。 シャワーのお湯はバスルームごとに湯沸かし器がついていますが、水圧が低いので涼しい日に浴びると暖かさが足りません。 部屋の掃除はお客様からリクエストがあったときにのみ対応なので、外出時にフロントでお願いすることを忘れないようにしましょう。 ビーチはありますが、砂浜ではなく、船着き場があるだけです。白い砂浜で日光浴をしたいのなら近くのビーチリゾートのデイユースがおすすめです。

- Robert (2/5): Horrible - The pictures shown on the site page was fabulous. I was excited to stay and treat my fiancee to a great experience. When we arrived the staff greeted us with open arms. Sadly that was the only great thing about the place. We couldn't sleep because of construction. The pool even after being cleaned looked like a toilet. I cant continue to complain. I hope anyone reading this review should think twice about the decision.

- Jason (2/5): Great Price for a TURD of a stay - Well I could tell the first few hours there it was going to be a BAD stay but it took me 2 days being held there because they wouldn’t cancel the reservation without charging me full price for me to realize just how BAD it was going to be SO the positives first breakfast was really good free parking free wifi the staff was kind and friendly NOW for the bad the twin beds were very hard to the point of being uncomfortable the window locks on the window were inoperable so someone could have gotten in our room luckily we were on the second floor so that would have been a little more difficult but just the same what they call hot water is a in line hot water heater that only heats the water sporadically so it just gets hot or warm then it has a cold spot and back and forth the whole time you are showering the pools yes they have two pools should be a positive you would think but they were murky and dirty looked like they were growing mosquito in a pond cloudy looking and then you get to the ocean view which again should be a positive and is maybe if you stay back about 100 yards if you get very close then your view is of a broke down half scraped boat tied to there dock no beach area at all down the steps straight to the ocean Oh and I forgot to mention that the cable television was not working at all while we were there I was told by surrounding villagers that the property is now owned by a Japanese person so it really is not the fault of the employees if things are being ignored

- LACE (6/5): A bit of disappointment - The resort was ok but i think after odette they werent able to maintain the whole hotel. Pool was very dirty. Beach was kinda lame. Outside furnitures was destroyed or unfunctional. Basic breakfast. Room has no tv.

I will definitely visit this accommodation again next time, and I'm sure it will be hard to find a place as good as this accommodation in CEBU. thank you very much for everythings!! :)

- C4654AJwayneb (10/5): Great no frills, very affordable room with free breakfast, freshly prepared for you. - Great location, nice no frills Philippines kind of hotel, it is on the ocean and has a pool. Breakfast is included as well. We paid an average of about $35 per night, the room was comfortable, also the room has a balcony with a table and chairs for enjoying the ocean view, or just hanging on. The staff is wonderful and very friendly, which is the norm for the Phillippines. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is minutes from Mactan airport, so it is perfect after a long flight to get to comfort. I give it 5 stars for location, staff helpfulness, and breakfast.
- Irene (2/5): - Please contact Aozora Seaside. I requested for a refund of our 2 nights booking. A guy entered our room at 3am, Oct 30. He stole our money worth 5000 pesos. We left the hotel at 4:30am in the morning. Checked in Oct 29 at 8pm. We did not continue oir stay there due to the robbery happened. Very dangerous place to stay. First time in history that our money was stolen. Very very disappointed and bad experience ever!!!!
- 587henrih (6/5): A Family Friendly Place - My family stayed overnight. Room was very good, clean and cozy. (booked family room with 3 beds, a couch and complete set toiletries for everyone.) ac was good, bed sheets fresh, fluffy pillows, loved the warm blankets. the staff - amazing. super friendly and accommodating. pool was okay for a quick dip. could be better though. i wouldn't recommend swimming at the beach, needs a lot of improvement. looks like its generally used for bangka docking catering to the diving guests. my rating for this 2-star resort: 3 stars. kudos to all the friendly staff, this added 2 more stars for us.

- J0FAalanm (8/5): Tranquil gem - Stayed 4 nights, if you are after peace and quiet then this is the place. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The restaurant has a good variety of local foods, the views from the balcony are stunning, even got to see a thunder storm roll in. Make sure to hire a bike, as it is a walk to everything.

Not much outside the resort in terms of places to eat within walking distance. Hotel restaurant food was good on the whole but we did have one meal that was not which they did agree for us not to pay. Lost water to our room one night and electricity on the day we were checking out. Some building renovations in the room below ours. Good place to stay if you want to go diving and island hopping or just relax by the pool for a few days. Bring googles though a a lot of chemical in the pool. long list of channels for TV but most unavailable.

- Traveling_Cuffs (8/5): Family focused - Resort was family run and felt personal. Staff showed interest in our child and made our stay special. Nice touch of having games to play at each meal. Pool was great/ well maintained and service was good.

- Sameer-Maasarani (10/5): Always A Great Experience! - This was my second stay in one year and I was even happier. The staff, all of them, are extremely friendly and professional, consistently! The property and rooms are very clean and well organized. The restaurant food is always fresh and delicious. Fresh and clean bed linens and towels. The views are stunning. Such a cozy and comfortable resort. A whole lot better than the massive ones in the surrounding area. WiFi is lightning fast! I’d stay here any day.
- xintan19 (2/5): HORRIBLE - We stayed here August 27, 2019 (for one night), when we checked-out the next day and let them check before we go (as usual hotel do) then fter a couple of HOUR they told us that we DAMAGED the duvet and a bed sheet because I have my monthly period that time, i believe duvet had three spots (thumb size) while bed sheet had only a pea size only, and it cost me 2500 pesos! I complaint and i offer to bring it a nice and expensive laundry shop but they refused I even negotiate that to pay half or 1250.00 but the rude stupid Japanese owner refused to he even spitted his saliva without even apologizing!!!! Blood stain (monthly period) is already a damaged now! they should have told us to not lay down on the bed so their hotel wont get dirty! As if their hotel is clean and pretty it was not! Our bathroom is cleaner than their bathroom! Stupid rules! Blood stain of a woman is now a damage is now a damaged! as if their hotel is clean! it cost me a lot! 3,300 pesos for one night and a blood stain damage because of a monthly period cost me Php 2500! the owner or manager (Japanese is so RUDE)! As if their hotel is a five star hotel! phew! Again blood stain or monthly period is not a damage! I cant control my blood to overflow at night when sleeping and its just three spots thumb size only!

- paul_heybourne (10/5): Just great - I came here with an open mind after reading some reviews. I already want to come back to this place. Service has been outstanding, staff couldn't do enough to help. Room was immaculate and had everything we needed. Pool was often empty so was only two of us in it. The restaurant was clean food was really good. Some of the evening meals were top standard and have paid a lot more for worse. Security guard on gate and even they were so helpful to us.Would definitely recommend this place.
