• Moose (10/5): - Very convenient to metro and food and shopping plus walking to major and minor attractions. This area is a nice mix of Parisians and tourists. The staff was amazing and the room was quiet and clean. The street is a quiet one for this area. There is an elevator and the room has a/c. Highly recommend.
• Ellen (8/5): - The location was perfect! We stayed for 4 nights . Staff was amazing and the guy at breakfast was very attentive. The bathroom was very nice. The rooms are small but perfectly designed to maximum the space so it doesn’t feel cramped. The only downside was we at room 11 on first floor and it was on the street side where all the restaurants are. So it was extremely noisy in that you can even hear conversations. Some nights it went on until 1am. Also there was no perks for VIP hotel. I mentioned to the reception when checking no but he didn’t understand what that was. Overall, it was a great and central hotel. Would stay again but a room not on street side!
• Georgia (10/5): - In a great area with lots of shopping and dining options. Close to all the important must sees of Paris. Metro will take you to other major sites such as Montmatre.
• Alexandra (10/5): - Super great spot in the middle of it all. We had the ground floor room with a little courtyard, which was convenient but felt a little bit closed in — would rec a higher floor for more light but was very clean, accessible and the room was surprisingly soundproof.
• Holly (6/5): - For a property that states it was made noise proof, I don’t understand why the TV volume cannot be raised over 30. Oh. Maybe that’s why it’s noise proof! We could BARELY hear it and this was very annoying for us. When we asked, we were basically given a shrug of the shoulders and said there was nothing that could be done. Also, the A/C was apparently operated by the front desk. NOT GOOD and NOT COMFORTABLE for people who need it cool at night to sleep. I understand the desire to be eco-friendly, but holding back a needed amenity is a bit overly controlling. Other than that, the room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable (thank God) but supplies like tissues were not replenished. We ran out and they were not refilled (but we didn’t ask, either). All sorts of modern inconveniences add up to a BIG inconvenience for the price we paid.

The neighborhood is busy and fun Now the bad- Everything about the hotel is bare-bones, from the coffee machine in the lobby, to the entrance, the furniture ect. Our room was extremely small, which we expected, but the lack of shelving and night stand space made it feel even smaller.
• Truly (10/5): Great Location - A great location in a beautiful part of the city. The area is crowded but this hotel is off a fairly quiet street. The rooms were a nice size and the beds comfortable. Nice shower. I would go back.

• Caroline (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely return the next time we're in Paris! The room and bathroom were spacious (for Paris) and very clean. The bed was super comfortable and we both slept well each night we were there. There was some construction noise during the day from work being done on the roof, but we didn't find it bothersome on the second floor. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. At one point we needed to borrow an iron, so they delivered an iron and ironing board to our room. Another night we asked to borrow a corkscrew to open some wine we had purchased, and the staff member on duty opened it for us and delivered it to our room with wine glasses. These extra touches were unexpected and made us feel very welcome. Finally, the location is excellent! It's a short walk to the metro station and many sites such as the Louvre and Notre Dame, and the neighborhood is full of cafes and restaurants. There's even a Carrefour grocery store just around the block. Considering the quality, service, and convenience, we thought the price was a great value for Paris.

• Andrew (8/5): - Several things of note: Location- This hotel is in an extraordinarily good location. It is right of St Germain de Pres and close to some great dining and accessible Metro. It is walking distance to Fontaine St Michel, Luxembourg Gardens and Notre Dame. However, if you like to walk, it is really walking distance from the principal areas and sites...except for Montemartre and Sacre Couer, which are quite a distance away. Room size: As room size go, this room wasn't bad. It was ample enough for our luggage and movement without issue. Amenities: Not much in the way of amenities really. Room had a small concession style fridge with items to purchase. There was a free bottle of wine and some water bottles that good be filled up near the reception area. No rioning board or iron. Cleanliness: The hotel is in need of upgrading for sure. They were performing some level of construction while we were there so ground to roof scaffolding. Rooms were dated. The room cleaning, however, was more than I could expect from a small hotel. The cleaning took place EVERY day with new towels and bed made. That was appreciated. Great cleaning team! Staff: All were amiable. All spoke workable english.
• Susan (10/5): - Lovely staff and wonderful stay. The room was a good size (deluxe room) and the king bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. We walked easily to Notre Dame (10–5 mins) and Musee d’Orsay (20 mins). Perfect location in the 6th. Little Breizh next door is a fantastic creperie, priced very reasonably and friendly staff. Lots of restaurants easily walkable from the hotel, as well as shops of all kinds.

• David (10/5): Delightful Hotel, Highly Recommend! - We stayed here for 7 nights. Nice hotel in the heart of Paris, near the Metro and RER train, Notre Dame, Louvre and many other attractions. Great shopping along Blvd. Saint-Germaine and smaller local shops, great restaurants and cafes on the same street and nearby. The hotel was clean, the entire staff we interacted with were professional and very helpful and knowledgeable. The buffet breakfast had typical Parisian fare for petit-déjeuner, plus items like eggs made to order, bacon, crepes, and freshly squeezed orange juice (which was literally the best we’ve ever had). Particularly helpful were Alexandra (the manager), Marie the breakfast attendant during the week, and Mari Louise, one of the weekend clerks.

The hotel was located on a little street right next to some very good restaurant options and in a great safe little neighborhood that was quiet at night. Public transportation really close by, taxi, metro, bus! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Totally recommend this hotel!

The hotel is located on acute small street just off the main boulevard but very quiet. Several excellent restaurants on the street. The staff is amazing and very friendly felt like we were staying with friends. We were there the week leading up to the Olympic games. Everything went smooth. St Germain is such a special wonderful area. Would definitely book this hotel again

• Jesus (4/5): Poor email communication - I love the hotel, love the location, love how nice the people were there. But I am giving them a few stars because they cancelled my first reservation I made through hotels.com and they canceled it and rebooked it without my permission. Please don’t ask them questions I was asking about getting twin beds instead of a full bed. So they cancel it. I was upset and they booked it at a higher price and did not even offer me any discount or better room. Very disappointed with the person who cancel my booking with out my permission
• Alan (10/5): - The location was close to many of the places we wanted to visit. There were wonderful restaurants nearby. All in all, we loved the location. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was small but the bathroom was quite roomy. We would absolutely stay there again.
• Rajani (8/5): - My usual hotel in the 6th arrondissement, Saint Germain des Pres. Pros: Really great staff especially Jordi, and excellent location, especially near eateries, bars, and within walking distance to the Seine. But quiet/good soundproofing. The Deluxe room is huge compared to most Paris rooms. However, after coming from a newer place, my usual place seemed a little lackluster: showing a bunch of wear and tear on the wooden floors; minor, yet unsightly mildew on shower tiles; no USB ports; humidity in the inner hallways; kinda disappointed by the individual shampoo/conditioners (instead of the more sustainable full-sizes other places have, and the full-size shower gel I did have was mostly empty). Also, it feels a bit cheap to try to entice people with a full mini-bar. Maybe waiting to redo after this summer’s Olympics? Might be nice to at least make some of the smaller changes? Repeat customers would appreciate it
• Rajani (8/5): - This is my fifth? time staying here and like usual, the staff is great: Jordi is adorable. The night guy was helpful in getting a taxi to show up early for our early morning flight to CDG ($75). However, like my previous review, (I made two concurrent reservations in March 2024): time to update the place, please! There’s a lot of newer, nicer places to stay, and things here don’t seem to have been updated since 2016? We stayed in the bottom floor room next to the elevator, which wasn’t a huge nuisance. Easy in and out. But the room—like others in this hotel—are pretty tiny (usual for Paris). So, both of those factors make it seem a little less private (even with the “small” courtyard terrace). Maybe opt for a higher floor for more privacy. I would love to come back, Victoire et Germain. Please consider a few updates, merci beaucoup

It is in an amazing location in St Germain and walkable to many attractions. It is a boutique hotel with personalized service, everyone was so helpful & friendly. The room was ready early & was the perfect size for two people. Bed & pillows were comfy & the bathroom quite large. I would highly recommend staying here!
• Mark (10/5): Quirky, stylish, comfortable, clean - Quirky and stylish little hotel steps away from St. Germain Bd. Close to more than a few metro stations (Odeon and Mabilion) and an easy walking distance away from RER train stations (Luxemburg and St. Michel) and to Notre Dame, Louvre, Pompidou and the Marais area. The place seems to be recently renovated and is clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were all kind and helpful. Room was quite compact but in line with Paris standards. Easily recommended.

• aurea (10/5): - This is a small boutique hotel, in a great location, the rooms are small, but the bathrooms have a great shower, and are spacious. The breakfast is perfect, to start your day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have personnel the 24 hours, so you are never alone. We appreciate Marie, who helped us in the mornings with our breakfast. Great fresh juice and crepes.

What an amazing first visit we had in Paris and would definitely come back here! Great district/arrondissement to be in!

• Dianne (8/5): Nice little hotel. - I didn't realize how small the hotel was from the description. Nice boutique hotel. Good location to restaurants and shopping . Area is good for walking. 15 to 20 minute walk to Louvre and Museum D'Orsay. Doesn't have a restaurant. Only has small breakfast option available.
• Natasha (10/5): - Fantastic location, cute hotel, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Quiet room for such a busy spot. Loved it!
