Guest Reviews
- Helen (9/5): - The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
- onothoja (8/5): - The toilet was stained. The room was quiet dusty
- Jefferies (9/5): -
- Véronique (8/5): -
- Tanya (8/5): Great location great staff. - Outlook was beautiful, staff were brilliant, particularly George. Work on property was annoying at times, but the view overcame this. Heaters were desperately needed. Why weren't towel heaters working?
- Marco (7/5): Als Zwischenstopp OK - Für den Trip zum Eurotunnel gut gelegen. Eigenes Restaurant.
- jim (10/5): - Everything, great hotel for our one night stay and food was excellent , breakfast and evening meal Nothing
- Michael (7/5): - The staff that night The price is too high for what you get
- Michael (10/5): -
- Carol (10/5): Great location and staff - Great location, the staff were lovely and they allow dogs! Right next to the zigzag walk and only 20 mins to the centre Nothing
- Mark (10/5): - Faultless experience. Great hotel. Excellent value Couldn't find a single fault.
- Paul (10/5): -

- Stefan (8/5): -
- Gary (2/5): Damp and mouldy Junior Suite (109) - The sea view was lovely, and the room could have been perfect if it wasn't for the excessive dampness and mould The black mould on the damp chimney breast and the filthy window
- Sarina (9/5): Urlaub in folkestone - Die Lage ,
- DUPONT (10/5): -
- Nicolette (9/5): Fijne plek - Toplocatie, vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk ontbijt, fijne kamer. Diner vond ik heel smakeloos, saai.
- Svatava (9/5): - Super schöne Lage und sehr nettes Personal. Alles war sehr gut.
- Michaela (6/5): It was ok but would book somewhere else next time. - Good location Currently covered in scaffolding. Good to see they are doing some work. Needs work inside too as it’s a bit tired. New carpets needed. Our bedroom was small, especially the sink, hardly space to wash one’s face. We initially had no hot water in the sink either but once we altered reception they sent someone to fix it. I thought £6.70 for a pint of lager shandy was overpriced in the bar.
- Lucy (8/5): Lovely one-night stay in comfy room with sea view - Great stay in comfy room with sea view (and low price given this). Staff were really nice. Was a little old, just don't see it as a 'Radisson' - but not really a complaint
- Paul (9/5): Great location, friendly staff. - Location, comfort, food. A little cold, heating didn’t work.
- Rhiannon (8/5): -
- Viktor (8/5): -
- Xavier (2/5): -
- wh7935936 (10/5): Great stay - Amazing hospitality.. all staff were very helpful I’ll be back real soon .. will definitely recommend to friends and family 👍👍
- stephen (9/5): - All good
- Karen (9/5): Our first visit and will definitely return we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - Cleanliness, location and staff Nothing
- Jaime (10/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Bridie (8/5): Great location for a 1 night stay for one person. - Nice small comfy room. The little step into the shower room was a bit of a trip hazzard.

- Stefan (9/5): -
- Khagendra (9/5): -
- stephen (10/5): - Clean and roomy
- Mary (5/5): Expensive - Location We didn’t get the room that was booked .
Toiletries in room very poor.
- Kay (9/5): A great resting place that broke our journey to France - The location and car safety A bit tired looking needs new carpet
- Hayley (9/5): Would definitely recommend this hotel. Very friendly staff and good location - Great location and our Appartment was huge! No parking
- Kathryn (10/5): -
- Helga (7/5): -
- esther (9/5): Very comfortable, nice hotel. - Lovely hotel, nice bar, food was pleasant.Lovely sea views and charming walk into town even with my siff hip! bed comfortable and rooms very clean. Some Pillows were a bit lumpy .
- Matthias (10/5): -
- Kayla (6/5): - The landline in the room was not working, and the centra heating i always have to go down to reception when i need something or ask questions Right at the beach and not far from the train station
- Paul (7/5): Adequate for our needs - Good location, convenient for Eurotunnel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was ideal for 2 people and a dog. As it was late we ate in the hotel restaurant, however food was average at best. Spicy pizza that was tasteless and chicken burger that was tough.
- Onlabayeva (10/5): - Room was very clean! Bed was very soft and comfortable 👍 staff is very friendly, and breakfast was very nice 👍. I’ll come back here again)
- DAVID (9/5): a perfect place in Folkstone - a lovely hotel in a perfect location for a night in Folkstone, the staff are always very pleasant and helpful. The room was perfect and very quiet nothing
- Paul (8/5): - Brilliant location for us to overnight whilst travelling from Europe to Northern England. Our room was large and very comfortable and the staff very helpful.
- Laurence (7/5): One overnight - The location was good right on the water front The hotel felt like a building site and needs a fresh modern update
- Gareth (10/5): -
- amanda (9/5): good -
- Sam (10/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): - Everything 😊 Nothing
- Margarita (8/5): Overall I liked staying in the hotel because I had exactly what I need for a relaxed trip alone - The bed was just perfect. The shower equipment was also amazing. This place is a perfect choice if you search for calm and relaxed type of escape. The armchairs in the room had stains and looked a bit shabby and worn out. One of the walls had peeling paint and stains.
- Karin (9/5): Fijn verblijf, prachtige locatie - Erg behulpzaam vriendelijk personeel, goede locatie, perfect ontbijt -
- Sascha (10/5): - Alles bestens
- Starbuck (10/5): Brilliant place to stay in Folkestone - Arrived by train, it was so easy to walk to the hotel from the station, only took about 15 minutes. Left my case at the hotel, came back much later to book in, the friendly reception staff dealt with this without any issues. The hotel proved to be in a great location, you can get any where in Folkestone in no time. I walked everywhere.
Found there was an issue in opening the windows in my room, reported this to the receptionist who came and sorted the problem.
Nothing appeared to be any trouble for any of the staff, they were brilliant.
When I return to Folkstone I will definitely stay here There wasn't anything I didn't like about the hotel or my stay
- Charlotte (9/5): -
- Ant' (8/5): Relaxed break near the Channel Tunnel - From the moment we arrived Glenn was at hand to welcome us. He is a credit to the hotel.
Street Parking was easy and arranged by Glenn to save us the bother of paying ourselves.
The View will definitely be our go to hotel for future Channel Tunnel trips and short breaks. Nothing really.
- Koen (9/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): Very good hotel - Everything was spot on .... good room size.....housekeeping....reception staff Nothing......from check in to check out the experiance was hassle free
Niets
- dos Passos (9/5): -
- Manuel (8/5): -
- Jitse (8/5): - All in all a nice stay. Good location, lovely breakfast. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken during our stay. The room wasn't small, but didn't have a lot of space to put your things. The bathroom as well had few options to leave your stuff.
- Hoofwijk (6/5): Eerste en laatste keer - Mooie kamer en mooi uitzicht. Onvriendelijk personeel. Slecht parkeren.
Slechte communicatie
- Jakubek (10/5): Brilliant - Location is great, staff is absolutely amazing and the room itself was very cosy. We liked everything
Keine Entschuldigung. Keine Vergütung.
- nimro (8/5): Could have been amazing but spoilt by lack of lift and scaffolding. - Very helpful, friendly staff. Nice renovated room. Lively bar with excellent cocktails. Beautiful location. Lift was broken for our entire stay. As we were on the 4th floor this was a struggle. Exterior scaffolding blocked our entire view of the sea and The Leas.
- Kirsty (8/5): Beautiful location, on the outskirts of the town, perfect stay - Beautiful location, old building on the seafront with interior of the hotel nicely refurbed.
Bedrooms are large in size No Aircon or anyway to keep the windows open.
- Erwin (5/5): - Der Lift war out of Order . Kein Entgegenkommen.
2.OG
- Charles (9/5): -
- Jane (9/5): -
- Richard1441 (8/5): One night stay - The hotel occupies a lovely sea facing location, and the staff and breakfast were equally agreeable, however the fabric of the building feels rather tired and is clearly overdue a good overhaul and refurbishment.
- Travel82822 (8/5): Good but will be better when the maintenance is completed - Reasonably priced, nice hotel. Will be lovely when the maintenance work has completed, both inside and out of the hotel.
- Martine et Alain (10/5): - Tout était parfait Rien.
- Denise (10/5): Great hotel, with wonderful staff - We have stayed in this hotel three times now and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and helpful and always do all they can to make our stay wonderful. Even though the hotel was full we got the room we requested and we never felt that the hotel was overwhelmed with guests. Being able to buy a permit £7.50 for 24 hours to park on street is a real bonus. We had half board which is great value. The dinner and breakfast were freshly cooked with lots of choice …we will certainly stay again. Only that the lift has been awaiting repair for a couple of weeks, the staff do all they can to help guests but I hope for the guests and staff sake it is repaired soon
- Fiona (8/5): Lovely location and staff and great value for money - Lovely location in a quieter area but within a nice 16 min walk to the beach restaurants. We stayed in a room on the 4th floor which was spacious and had lovely sea views. n/a
- HANNA (8/5): -
- Matthias (9/5): Kommen gerne wieder - Top Lage at the seafront
Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal
Zimmer sehr ordentlich und sauber
Hervorragendes Frühstück
- Clare (10/5): Lovely hotel, staff friendly and in a great location - The hotel was really clean, staff made you feel welcome and it was in a great location, walking distance to the harbour.
- Wayne (8/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (7/5): -
- Hans Ulrich (3/5): Katastrophe - Zimmer in der 4. Etage. Lift defekt. Keine Hilfe beim Koffer tragen. Keine Preisreduktion.
- Teresa (10/5): Always enjoy staying here. Great location. Lovely staff. Perfect! - Such friendly people. Everything you could need in the room. Lovely bar. The lift still not working and it is a a lot of stairs to the 4th floor! But this is only temporary
- Katherine (9/5): -
- Robert (9/5): A warm welcome at reception. Clean crisp bedding and a friendly bar. -
