Chambre tripe avec balcon spacieuse, seul bemol voie ferrée et hôpital à proximité donc si les fenêtres sont ouvertes ou détente à la piscine....sirène et train ! Petit-déjeuner excellent, varié et copieux. Parking payant mais indispensable car pas de possibilités de stationnement. Nous avons malgré tout passé une super semaine, espace détente pour les enfants géniale.

- RBSDarlington (10/5): Lovely stay in La Rochelle - We stayed for a week in this hotel and it was great. Excellent location under 10 minutes from train and bus station, centre and beach. The pool area was great with sunbeds and parasols which were always available. Meals and drinks in the hotel were reasonable and nice. All Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. There is a delicious bakery 2 minutes awa if you don’t want to pay hotel prices for breakfast or lunch. Filtered water available on all floors. I’d definitely book this hotel again when we return.

- Vanessa (10/5): Weekend à La Rochelle - L’hôtel se situe dans une nouvelle zone avec sens unique et voie pour les vélos. Le gps de la voiture et des téléphones étaient perdu mais une fois les routes en tête c’est bon. Difficulté à trouver des places gratuites proche de l’hôtel. Il y a un parking payant juste à côté. Il n’y a pas de réduction du prix de l’hôtel lorsque réservation d’une chambre. Seul petit bémol de notre chambre, il n’y avait pas de sèche cheveux. Sinon tout était bien jusqu’au petit déjeuner.

About 7 minute walk from center of town. It was clean and had a small swimming pool. Rooms were tiny. Good value. Had a bar and pool table. Average hotel in line with its price.

No carpet and there are no phones in the rooms. Expensive @ Euro 132.11 for 1 person for 1 night plus visitor tax. Very disappointing.certainly a budget hotel but, in my opinion, over-priced.

- Rezlarrr (8/5): Brilliant for value - I could not believe this hotel is only a 2* hotel, it should definitely be listed as a 3* at least. The room is clean, we were supplied with towels and hangers for our clothes in the room. The room is quite small but comfortable. The TV in the room had Chromecast so we could connect our devices easily and watch whatever we wanted. The darkening curtains were excellent as they blocked out the light really well. The only downsides would be the view of the car park from our room and we were only given 1 pillow each and they were soft when I prefer a more firm pillow. The hotel is situated a 15 minute walk from the city centre, La Rochelle port and really close to La Rochelle train station. I could not hear the trains from my room but could hear it from the outside seating area. The lounge area (Ground floor) of the hotel is spacious and well lit, welcoming natural lighting from the glass (floor to ceiling) windows. They serve food and drinks at the bar, and there is an average sized pool past the lounge area with deck chairs. There is space to get some work done, eat and there is also an outdoor seating area, where you can relax or have your breakfast. There is a water refill station in front of the lift of every floor, so if you bring your own water bottles, you can have free water as the hotel do not provide water bottles in the room. The hotel is also safe as you need to use your room card in order to use the lift, and also in the evening to get into the front entrance of the hotel. To get to the hotel from the Airport, you can take the Illico 1b bus from the bus top, to the stop Hopital, which is a 20 minute bus journey and then a 7 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel. There aren’t many shops near the hotel, there is a supermarket a 15 minute walk away, and there is a food market hall a 10 minute walk away. For £78 for one night, room only (Wednesday - Thursday) I would say this hotel was definitely worth the money spent.

- Y4949BGdarreng (2/5): Ibis la rochelle sucks - Booked the hotel as we were travelling back to England from South off France on arriving found car park was to small for my vehicle and the pool was closed even though it was 25 degrees and the view from my bedroom window was a traveller's in campment when I decided I was not going to stay the manager became very rude and abropt telling me he would only refund some off the money which he still hasn't and trying to get hold off the hotel or anybody is quite impossible I feel well and truly robbed
- chris (10/5): Hard to fault pleasant city location - The staff were very friendly and helpful and the accomodation clean and comfortable. We had 2 large dogs with us and they were also màde to feel at home with a charge of €5 per dog per night which we felt was fair. Carparking is available in a very secure covered carparking area at €1per hour or on street during the night for free if you wish. I chose to use the carpark for peace of mind as were travelling and had some expensive items and did wish to leave them in the car if unsupervised or take them into the hotel. - hollisb826 (10/5): Great value hotel with great staff team - Great stay at this hotel, great, helpful staff, nice chilled stay. Not the most scenic location but the port area is a short walk away. Good breakfast with a wide range of produce. The whole stay was Great value for money. Wild go back again!!!

Having booked an Ibis budget we didn’t have huge expectations but wow.The hotel is immaculate, colourful, fun. Games all over receptions area for youngsters to play with, a pool, lovely friendly helpful staff. It was just fab. The addition of a secure car park was great too. The cost of the car park for 24 hours was standard to what we experienced in many other cities throughout our tour so we didn’t think it over expensive. Fabulous stay! Thank you.

- Bastien (10/5): Très bon hôtel - Très bon hôtel pour un ibis budget. Chambre rénové et sympa, petit déjeuner varié et à 15 minutes à pied du centre ville, une bonne adresse. Seul bémol pas de parking gratuit mais un parking payant collé à l'hotel avec des prix assez élevé.
- Laurent (10/5): Impeccable - Un hôtel tout neuf avec des prestations nickels. Personnel agréable et serviable. Chambre un peu petites mais on est sur un Ibis Budget donc c'est normal. L'endroit est calme et à 10mn à pied du vieux port. Franchement une très bonne surprise pour un hôtel de cette gamme.
- pierre (8/5): mon ressenti - hotel difficile a trouver le personnel est super agreable seul bemol l organisation du petit dejeuner demande a etre revue, c est un peu la pagaille hoel tres bien isolé malgre la presence d une voie ferrée (nbres de trains limités) inconvenient parking n appartenent pas a l hotel' il es t relativement cher
- Cyrine (6/5): PDJ et accueil à améliorer ! - Le séjour s'est bien passé toutefois nous sommes arrivés à 10h pour le petit déjeuner et il n'y avait déjà plus d'œufs. La femme qui gère le petit déjeuner nous l'a annoncé sans mettre aucune forme dans ses paroles sachant que nous avions payé expressément le PDJ pour en avoir. Nous n'avons également pas bu de jus vu que ce n'était pas du jus naturel. PDJ à améliorer ! Petit bémol aussi sur le réceptionniste qui lors du check out ne nous a même pas demandé comment notre séjour s'est déroulé, d'ailleurs il nous a dis sèchement et je cite " déposez votre cle dans la boîte" sans même dire bonne journée. Les seuls points positifs sont la propreté de la chambre et l'amabilité et le sourire des serveurs au bar.

- Mchelle (2/5): - Nous avions demander une chambre pour3 adultes et non pour 2 adultes et un lit superposer on n’appel pas un hôtel centre ville quand il ce situe à 2,5km du centre ville en plus un draps complètement déchirer le responsable de jour ne dis même pas bonjour mais c est sans doute sur demande et en supplément gnous n’avez rien à changer mais tous a refaire

- Christine (6/5): Very budget - I had not realised it was budget budget. The shower drenched the toilet, towels were like tea towels and there was dust on the bed frames. Price was good before I realised how budget it was. I would have expected to pay half what we did for what we got. Benefit though was that on site parking was free.

The rooms are comfortable, but very basic. Great choice for a night passing through the area. The breakfast buffet is great value for money.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Our Hotel Stay - This hotel is in an excellent location. It was very clean and the shower was excellent. We walked everywhere so this was a perfect place for us. We walked from the Train Station in no time at all. Also the breakfast was great, and a very good price, liked the cereal too. Thank you for making our stay excellent, no problem at all,
