- CaryZaf (10/5): Excellent service and room - The hotel is conveniently located very close to the business district where all the offices are so excellent choice for a business trip. The staff at the reception were very pleasant and helpful. I was delighted to find out I had a nice room upgrade with amazing views and a super great bathroom. The breakfast is varied with very good quality coffee and fresh orange juice, two elements that unfortunately you find rarely good in hotels these days. I will absolutely stay again for my business and family trips.

Always consistently great and responsive staff, extremely comfortable beds, pillows and blankets and a quiet, peaceful place, great location, beautiful design. has everything you need for both leisure and business trips, spa, gym, great saunas. One of my favorite hotels in general.

Opitz and his great team are doing a fine job at this Sofitel in Frankfurt am Main, super close/facing the "Alte Oper" (Frankfurt's famous concert & event hall) and the Opera Square. The Sofitel Frankfurt Opera, opened at the end of 2016, I believe, with approx. 150 rooms, 30 suites, SPA, restaurants, conference - & ballrooms. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, numerous other financial institutions (Deutsche Bank, UBS Germany) and some of Germany's most well-known high-end shopping streets, e.g. Goethestraße and Freßgass. FO at check-in/out was professional & efficient, more German than French style and (free) smiling never killed anyone but I liked the efficiency.... Rooms and bathrooms are super clean, nicely sized and quiet when facing the small park area. Did not use SPA, concierge team, Schumann's, nor breakfast during short stay. Uneventful, nice business stay. When in Frankfurt would stay here again.

- Sven (6/5): Summarised very nice located hotel with a great lobby but the rooms are not the worthy for the price you need to pay for - The location is veryynice, super close to a park as well the main pedestrian are of Frankfurt city centre and the opera plus a lot of restaurants . Great bed which has been very comfortable. The room was nice located with a view to the park BUT you could not manage to get the room real warm. Furthermore the style was not really modern and spots on the floor tiles and on the table which have been in the material and couldn‘t be removed. Public swimming area very slippery, SPA relaxing area not pleasant because directly close to the SPA reception counter where the door to the SPA was opened very often so that we could not really relax.

- Sue-Murray (10/5): Fabulous! - My husband and I chose the Sofitel for our final two nights before flying home to Australia. All I can say is -FABULOUS! The staff at Reception were very helpful and check in was easy and QUICK. Of course we were very happy with our Prestige Suite - which was beautifully appointed with full length mirrors - which are so handy when dressing to go out. The bathroom had his and hers sinks, a shower, bath and beautifully fragrant toiletries. We had a few room service meals which arrived hot, beautifully presented and in a timely manner. The hotel itself is well located - only 10 minutes walk to the shops. We arrived on New Year’s Eve and were delighted to find a bottle of bubbly and a tiered tray of berries and petit fours in our Suite. Additionally, the breakfast area is very attractive and the breakfast offering was what one would expect from a hotel at this price point. Well done everyone - we very much enjoyed our stay and only wished it was longer!

- Brita (8/5): - Der freundliche Empfang, dass wir ein Upgrade erhalten haben, sehr gutes Essen im Lokal Die viel zu niedrigen durchgesessenen Stühle im Lokal, ab 10.00 gab es zum Frühstück keine Brötchen mehr, die man gerne hätte. Es hieß dann, es gibt ja noch Kürbiskernbrötchen. Die Brötchenkörbe insgesamt leer, sah nicht gut aus. Der gute Käse wurde nicht aufgefüllt und obwohl nicht viel los war, war der Service für ein 5 sterne hotel nicht befriedigend.

- Benjamin (7/5): Gut aber bitte mehr Wartung - Gutes Frühstück. Gutes Ambiente. Nettes Personal. Zimmer hatte stärkere Gebrauchsspuren als ich für diesen Preis erwartet hätte. Für 500/600€ für ein normales Zimmer möchte ich keine Fleckigen Boden oder vermackte Wände. Dusche war der Druck ausbaufähig.
- DrProg_13 (10/5): A top place to stay - Had a great 2 night stay at the Sofitel Frankfurt. It’s a true 5-star Sofitel for sure! The room was superb and the housekeeping team clearly take pride in their jobs as the room was always spotless. Breakfast was delicious with excellent choices, and again the team there were terrific. As we were there on a Sunday the main restaurant was closed, however, we were able to get room service delivered to Lilli’s Bar so enjoyed a really good Schnitzel whilst having a couple of drinks in a cool atmosphere. Check in and check out were a breeze, and the location is perfect - close to the centre but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Top stay.

Номер большой, но не очень удобный. модно-дизайнерский, но за счет функциональности. Совсем не понравился завтрак. Для 5* очень не впечатляющее меню. Пустые тарелки, которые очень неохотно и медленно пополняются. Заказ несут так же крайне медленно

- quicklinec (4/5): Not the 5-Star Experience Expected - I booked a prestige suite with breakfast long before the actual date. Upon arrival, there was only one bathrobe provided. The hotel has a peculiar lift system that requires assistance a couple of times before you understand how it works. Staff seemed preoccupied and only greeted us after we entered their field of view, even though the lift probably alerted them to incoming guests. The breakfast selection is typical of European hotels. The breakfast staff didn't know what congee is. Overall, it doesn't fit the category of a high-end luxury 5-star hotel.
- Scipio (5/5): Enttäuschend für die Preiskategorie. - Zimmer war nicht auf dem Nivo für das Geld. Boden im Bad und WC voller Flecken, Wandseife... Man hatte nicht das Gefühl von 'Sauberkeit' auf dem 700 Euro Nivo, für 420 Euro, passt das, aber so...
- Atlantan1972 (10/5): Nice hotel and service - We stayed 4 nights in this hotel located in the downtown center of Frankfurt. FYI, because of some construction some Uber drivers seemed to have an issue with getting to the hotel. We were disappointed with Ubers in Frankfurt, they definitely had some issues not just with the hotel but with other rides. Taxis were also typically available outside of the hotel. The hotel staff was very nice and turn down service was provided. The public rooms are lovely, and the hotel is well maintained and the rooms nicely appointed. The room had a desk, chair, sofa at the end of the bed, a large bathroom with two sinks and lots of shelves, a separate shower stall with good water pressure and a separate toilet area. I would describe the room as retro modern with laminated curved doors to separate the bathroom and bedroom. There are no nightstands but an insert in the headboard with a plug and reading light. The towels were nice. Breakfast was a nice buffet with a few gluten free items and you could also order some hot items off of a menu. The staff was very nice. Definitely get something with the Frankfurt green sauce and the roasted potatoes. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel.
- Melinda (10/5): Top Hotel und Lage. - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist perfekt und das Frühstück was sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Internet ist zu langsam und am ersten Tag hat nicht funktioniert.
