Im a Christian and I did not like the figures of Buda everywhere on the property; those figures didn't appear on the pictures when I selected the property,, otherwise I wouldn't select that property.
• Les (10/5): - We had no issues checking in. After we got settled we found that our A/C wasn’t working. After informing the people at the front, the kind man came to our room, saw the A/C was clearly broken and got us into a new room asap. He then worked for 2 hours to help us arrange a night walk. He was brilliant. This resort is not on the beach but a short walk to the beach. And Ruis at the bar is fantastic.

Breakfast was very good, especially the Tico breakfast. Luis our waiter is exceptional. It’s a short walk to the beach. I would recommend Hotel Ibiza to family and friends.

I noticed some other reviews saying the club next door was loud, but it wasnt open any of the nights I stayed. The breakfast that is included was very good. Overall it was a great value for the money.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great service. - I had a nice stay. The a/c was making a loud noise when I got there. I had to sleep with it off. The next day they changed rooms for me and I saw men working to fix the a/c already. Great service. There was quite a bit of road noise I could hear in the room. If you want it quiet you might want to call first and ask them.
• Kelly (10/5): - I started for one and night it was everything I need. There was free parking to start off. Then when i walked onto the property, there was no one in the reception but the staff was hanging by the bar, which is next to the reception. The employee who checked us in was nice. Our room was right in front of the pool, which I was worried about the noise at night but no one was at the pool all night so that wasn't an issue. The room includes beach/ pool towels in a basket for you to bring down to the beach which was nice and complimentary. After going to the beach, you can rinse off at their outdoor pool shower area so you don't track sand into your room. There were plentiful of bars and restaurants in the area that was all walking distance. For breakfast, you get 3 options that were complimentary. Luis, our server, was great. Overall no complaints and I would stay here again.

I will definitely be back. I would 100% recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a relaxing experience in Jaco. It is centrally located, within walking distance of the beach and local bars and shops. The staff were attentive to guest needs and ensured safety and security of the property at all times. I was able to park my rental car in front with no issues.

• Karen (8/5): - The property is clean and well kept. It is attractive and very close the ocean and the main drag. No car is needed. My only advice to those considering a stay there is that there is very loud music until very late at night. If you want to sleep it can be very disturbing. On Saturday night it went on until 1:30 AM. Breakfast was delicious.

In an area that is loud at night with restaurants nearby that have music but not the hotels fault. They help with transportation to the airport and provide beach towels. The water is clean and safe to drink.

• Kyle (8/5): - The hotel was a little gem, they have a bar/restaraunt which was great but closes at 2pm. We went during rainy season and our room had multiple leaks, they moved us to a new room with no other issues. I think the room was comfy for 2 people, but we had a 3rd person and the makeshift 2nd bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, would probably not rent this again if more than 2 people. And there is a very loud bar next door (with karaoke and a total blast), but very noisy location due to that. Overall the staff are fantastic and friendly, there are cats that frequent the property and were friendly, the location was great, the pool and restaraunt were great. The noise level at night due to the bar was awful, and the beach that is walking distance is dirty, huge waves, multiple bars on the beach that play loud music on the weekend and the nicer more usable beaches were a 30 min drive or so.

I was charged a deposit for staying here, which is the only place in Jaco that charges a deposit and they only charge you a deposit to try to force the mini bar in your room on you which ain’t needed and the prices for the mini bar were absolutely ridiculous. I was told at check in I would be refunded upon check out and they double charged my card and when I spoke to them about it they gave me a run around and told me to contact my bank and it would take 3 weeks for the refund. My bank has told me numerous times no refund was initiated by them. Very unprofessional on this hotels behalf. I Would never stay here again. Do Not stay here unless you plan on having your funds stolen and not returned. Shame on them for this game that they play.

• Omid (4/5): - The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, but I encountered a significant issue upon arrival. The staff took a photo of my driver's license using their personal phone, which I found unprofessional and concerning. Additionally, I was presented with a form to sign that included extra fees and information not disclosed during the booking process on Expedia. They also requested my credit card for an additional $100 charge, which I declined, as my stay was already paid in full through Expedia. Despite several phone calls, the front desk was unable to reach the hotel manager for clarification. This lack of transparency in their policies, combined with the use of personal devices to capture sensitive legal documents, made me uncomfortable. While I understand they need to verify identity, using a personal phone for this purpose is inappropriate, especially when I had printed and provided the confirmation documents. Due to these issues, I would not recommend booking with this hotel in the future.

Staff is great, Saul from front desk helped arrange SJO. Airport to hotel at last minute. Some hotel guests could be noisy late night when they return from partying, was not an issue for me. Food was very healthy and made to order, each breakfast costed just about $10/person was worth it. Hotel swimming pools were clean and well maintained.
