• Lachlan (2/5): Not that great. Reception was hard to get hold off to talk to. I tried to call prior to my stay and no answer. Customer - Its location My room smelled of drain the whole time. They obviously knew about it and did nothing as the door was open (x2) to try and mask it. The only reason I stayed is the second bathroom and room was ok.
• Susan (7/5): Would stay here again - The price was reasonable for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with kitchen and laundry facilities very close to all the places we wanted to go to at Southbank It's a very noisy area and the walls are pretty thin. Anyone speaking or walking in the hallways was amplified.

It's very well priced without a budget feel inside. all the creature comforts are available for a longer stay ie. washing machine, dryer, microwave and dishwasher. It's fairly quiet, depending on which side of the building your room is on.

Staff did offer to relocate me half way through my 6 night stay, but only during office hours which was not possible. Issues include: Severely leaking ensuite shower Mould in shower No working wifi connection to the tv despite having streaming capability Stains on the carpets and blinds Fans don't change between settings, and an electrical sparking occurred on the main bed fan Damage to walls and scuffs on most walls Loose electrical fittings Soiled / stained armchair Broken kitchen utensils and limited kitchenware Very basic furnishing

• cyril (3/5): Short stay but annoying with the shower and Air-conditioning not working properly. - Clean Shower head did not lock into holder and you could only hold the shower head by hand to shower. The air-conditioner worked but after a period of time the Air-conditioner would start to leaking water all over the Television.

• Jen (8/5): - Great Location. Beautiful view. Comfortable beds and pillows. Outdated furniture. Missing handle in shower. Mould in showers. Outdoor chairs not safe to sit on. Only free to air channels with the smallest TV considering we were charged $600 per night. Air conditioning wasn't working the best and when checking filters they were blocked and needing cleaning.
• Bill (8/5): Perfect location and comfortable room that suited the purpose for the stay. - The location was excellent for the purposes of our visit. It was easy to get to to a dn there were plenty of cafes and amenities around. The bed was extremely comfortable and the living area relatively spacious. Self contained flat made it posible to cook if we wanted to. The view from the room was uninspiring and the bathroom was cramped. IT felt expensive but then everytjing is these days and it was a high demand weekend.

It would have been a good location except the area was very dodgy with cops having to come and go and homeless or other hanging around downstairs all the time. The area felt pretty dodgy with lots of homeless people hanging around and notices about making sure you check when you enter that no one else has entered with you. We were even approached by someone down stairs whilst waiting for family which was unsettling. The property didn’t let us know that the pool /spa wasn’t open which was disappointing as we probably would have chosen somewhere else with a pool. The room had a very bad smell of cigarette smoke the entire time we were there. We had to buy air Graheme just to be able to cope with it. The TV wifi didn’t work so you couldn’t access anything other a few channels. The room itself was a bit damaged on walls with lots of marks and scuffs and lots of stains on the carpet and even the chairs. A shame. It I guess you get what you pay for

• Natasha (5/5): Consider if you don’t intend to be there much + got it at a heavily discounted price - The apartment is in a good location. Good sized rooms and comfy beds, 2 bathrooms. The place was clean. There is a lift to get to your floor. The kitchen had a good range of pots, oven and cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and a really good sized fridge. The reception staff member was friendly and tried hard to be helpful. For the price the apartment was mean and doesn't meet expectation. There was a small 32inch dumb tv - we couldn't stream any of our services and were restricted to free to air tv. They offer wifi (which even if the apartment came with a smart tv we are informed we cannot use it to stream tv services). There was only a small 2 seater old couch for a 4 person apartment. There were no extra blankets, you had your bed doona covered in 2 sheets and that's it. The carpet in the bedrooms had inground dirt and stains and I couldn't tell if it was meant to be off white or cream, bathrooms had mould around the sealant. The reception has limited hours. The whole place had a feel of a lived in family apartment that has been stripped out of everything to be charged out at high prices.

• William (10/5): Everything I was looking for - It was super easy to find and literally a couple minutes away from the city and the train station. A great place to stay if you like going for walks (proximity to South Bank Parklands) and if you're taking public transport. Beds are good. Loved the view of the city at night from the balcony. Locked parking garage is a plus. It was paid parking - price was good though.

• Tony (6/5): Disappointing due to noise from trains and the street. Not what was expected based on pictures. - Location was excellent, a short walk to the bus and the train station. Surrounded by the cultural end of Brisbane. QPAC, Library, Museum. Easy walk to the wonderful South Bank Parklands as well. The bed was comfortable. Our room faced the train line, it was very noisy and the building was noisy with other people. The whole room/building is a bit tired.
• Jessica (3/5): Extra budget stay - Great location being only a short walk to the South Brisbane & Southbank dining district. Very tired and worn apartment. Some of the cookware was caked with old food, the free WiFi never worked, the dining table chairs were damaged, the floor was dirty, one toilet didn’t flush properly, both showers leaked onto the bathroom floor, the shower head bracket was broken in the en-suite bathroom and the spa pool was not operable (under repair potentially).

• O'NEIL (3/5): None of the 6 guests will ever stay here again! - Location was good, close to South bank. Lots of homeless and drug / alcohol addicted people loitering out the front. Lots of screaming and yelling from these people. Apartment is long overdue for a reservation. Shower is rusted and leaked all over the floor. Walls were filthy, bedding was terrible. Furniture looked like it was from the tip. Not enough, towels, toilet paper and dishwashing tablets for our stay.
• Diane (7/5): Fleet Apartments - Location is excellent to visit all facilities in the cultural centre and to walk across the bridge into Brisbane business centre for shopping. Value for money poor. For what I paid, I would have expected the apartment to be much better appointed and things working properly. The ironing board collapsed as I began to iron my blouse. Water was very, very slow to drain from the bathroom sink.
• Christy (5/5): - First time staying in Brisbane and definitely would not pay more than we paid to stay in this accommodation. And we had a discount at last minute booking. Good enough location to museum and walking to south bank. Staff was good. Beds was hard as a stone, mattresses was all stained and really dirty. The garage parking is a mission to get in and out of lucky I took my car instead of my partners Ute as that would not fit down the ramp or parking spots, as it was a very tight parking spot. We had people above us throwing and smashing glass over the balcony leaving pieces all over our veranda. Also had some guests throwing underwear and coat hangers over the balcony while we walking on the road. WiFi wasn’t that good had to use hotspot, for the children and to watch tv. Ok for a cheap short stay I’ve had worse.

• Arthur (7/5): Functional and and clean for my needs but beyond that it didn't really appeal. - Location was great in accessing the cbd and all the arts and cultural places nearby either by walking or bus. It looked like they were trying to also create some street life by using the laneways and outdoor spaces for cafes, restaurants, and bars however more is needed. The room was clean and had all the facilities needed. The apartment had an old couch and dining chairs that were rather worn out with stain marks. The apartment was on the second floor and did not have much light. One side faced the concrete wall of a carpark and the other faced a couple of large nearby trees so no views and it felt a little depressing.

• Denise (6/5): - Location. Walk to city and Qpac Comfortable beds Cleanliness Your photos show city skyline views but the 'balcony' was enclosed. While this should not be a problem to some, I would not have booked it. As it was drizzling the place became drab despite a beautiful 2 bed apartment. Could do with some soft furnishings or decor to give it a warm feel. Reception area is a bit dank. The actual area was shady with weird people hanging around the front.

• Amanda (9/5): Good value, close to Southbank & train station - We booked a 1 bedroom & were upgraded to 2. It was really huge. I wish I had more downtime while I was there to spend in the HUGE balcony. It wrapped around the whole apartment from the loungeroom & both bedrooms. It’s in a handy spot & had everything we needed to stay for the 5 nights. The only downside is the complex is pretty much right on the train track-not literally but close enough to see how many people were on the trains, read the destination etc lol. The trains are noisy but they don’t run all night. There was no broom, vacuum or dustpan & brush to do any cleaning up. We think the apartment could do with a spruce up, there are a lot of scuff marks on the walls as well as the carpet & lounge suite being a bit grubby.

• Andrew (5/5): Pretty disappointed with our stay. - Reasonably priced No balcony views like the pictures on booking, all views from windows in 2 bed apartment were of an empty, dirty courtyard covered in cigarette butts, rubbish and half dead gardens. Room had an overpowering lemon smell when we arrived, turned on ceiling fan to try and clear it and fan blade flew out hitting my son. Staff offered $30 refund on parking as compensation. Big stain on side of bed (blood?) not impressed. Staff did his best to be helpful but didn’t feel like a parking refund for less than 5% of our booking price was good enough
