• Mats (8/5): Mysig oas i hjärtat av Galle Fort - Trevligt litet hotell i hjärtat av Galle Fort. Bra läge. Trevlig personal. Rum och toaletter i behov av renovering / uppfräschning. Dålig WiFi.
• Tatum (10/5): Short stay - We visited in April and we ended up extending one more night. It's a basic comfortable hotel with breakfast included during our stay. Both AC and fan in the bedroom. Best location to get to the fort. Although every shop and restaurant inside the fort area was tourist price, it's easy to walk out (or take a tuktuk) to the shops and restaurants near the bus station. We read a lot of negatives about the internet connection but the Wifi worked perfectly fine during our stay. Breakfast was sufficient for us. They can offer tuktuk to send to railway or bus station but we never took it. Friendly staff and helpful if you need anything. Place to sit and lounge outside of the rooms just be prepared for mosquitoes in the evening.
• Jan (8/5): Basic, quiet and a great base - Ideally situated in the fort, the Samaya Fort is a no frills basic but very friendly hotel. The lady that runs it went over and above for me, for which I couldn't thank her enough.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Close to the fort, good wifi, quiet stay - We had a pleasant stay here. Breakfast is included which was toast, omelette, fruits(we had papaya and pineapple) and coffee. Number one thing for us is the location to the fort and the relatively quiet stay giving that we always end up in places that has a construction site during our 16 day visit in Sri Lanka. I read reviews about the Wifi not working. It worked well during our stay, in fact it was quite fast too! Lady at reception checked us in and she's always around when you need anything. There's fridge in the room to chill our drinks and enjoy lounging outside, but no kettle to make your own coffee or tea. The seating area outside the room is pleasant too. Recommend to book online rather than paying the walk-in rate. Tips to find cheap food: Go out to the town area near shops by the bus station. You can have same food (rice and curry or various rotti) at much lower prices than in the fort area. For alcohol, head to the Food City Supermarket and they have beers (chilled in the fridge) and spirits at much much cheaper price.
• Giuseppe (6/5): rapporto qualità prezzo buono - struttura minimale, ma pulita. Personale molto gentile. Colazione come in strutture più grandi, soddisfacente. Posizione eccellente.
• Ashin (8/5): Nice Location but . . . . - At check in there was only one person, a person who multi-tasks as receptionist, housekeeper, gardener, waiter, plumber and bell-hop without speaking a word of English! 2. The flush was mostly dysfunctional. 3. A lady receptionist joined in later. She also doubles as the chef for breakfast. 4. Location was very good. We could just walk out of the hotel and stroll around all the streets in the Fort area, which is the main tourist attraction.

• sangdae (8/5): 등대와 가까운 작고 예쁜 게스트하우스 - 갈레 포트 유적지 내 등대와 가까운 곳에 위치한 작고, 청결하고, 가성비 좋은 게스트하우스. 시설이 작아 여러가지 시설은 없지만(조식은 작고 깨끗한 식당에서 줌) 가까운 곳에 다양한 레스토랑과 바 그리고 각종 숍이 즐비함. 아침에 걸어서 등대 일출을 감상한 뒤, 자전거를 빌리거나 도보로 갈레포트 유적지를 돌아보는데 최적의 장소임.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great Location and very comfortable - We stayed at Samaya for one night and wished we could've stayed for longer, the hotel is great and the hotel is managed by very friendly hosts. The location is fantastic - a walk to the lighthouse and right in the middle of the beautiful fort area, highly recommended.
• Wijay (6/5): Good location to explore! - Hotel location is really good. Service from people who work are excellent and breakfast was delicious. Rooms are small and not that clean tbh. There is a mosque nearby so early morning around 4am - loudspeaker starts and act as your morning alarm clock!

• CHIHYUN (8/5): 悠閒的住宿 - 酒店距離Galle的堡壘非常近，晚上也非常安靜，不過蚊子好像特別多，貼心的是有蚊帳，雖然簡單，但是睡的舒服，早餐也非常棒，服務我們的女士也非常有禮貌。

• John (8/5): Nice place in the Fort - Great little hotel close to the lighthouse run by a lovely couple. Positives; bed was very comfy, relaxing balcony, close to the Dutch Hospital and Lighthouse. Negatives was the shower (very poor pressure), lack of tv in the room and the breakfast, which was nice but the same every day. A little variety or choice would've been good. Be aware that most restaurants don't serve alcohol...
