Sophie & Gilles took it to another level with their hospitality! They were so gracious and welcoming. They appointed the rooms so well - all the comforts of home, or just ask! Although we did not take advantage of their gourmet breakfasts, they made special accommodations for our early departures each day. We could not have asked for anything to be done differently. This is an exceptional property and is managed very well by the owners. Sophie’s creative touches throughout made this a very charming, memorable experience. We will definitely recommend to friends & family. We did not have a dedicated parking spot, so had to coordinate parking with other guests. Not a problem, just something we usually don’t need to do.

Our room was wonderful. The detail for all our accommodations was over the top. The owners were wonderful. Our breakfasts were perfection!!!!! We both loved the town. We will definitely go back. They were extremely hospitable and informative. The rooms were immaculate and decorated beautifully. Sophie's breakfasts are all homemade from muffins, cobbler, souffles, bacon......need I say more. Thank you for a lovely stay. Impossible to think of anything.

Sophie and Gilles were superb hosts and gave us lots of great recommendations, including wineries, shops and activities. The communal snacks/drinks fridge was also a nice touch, especially as it was very hot and humid outside.

The sitting room off the eating area was perfect for our family to come together. We were fortunate that for one of our nights we were the only guests at the house so it wasn't a problem with us coming together in the sitting area. The breakfasts were delicious. Sophie is a fabulous cook and baker.

We enjoyed an elegant two night stay in an upper level room which was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and included a private bathroom. It felt like our own private oasis. The property was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. It was centrally located, offered free parking, and a short walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Property owners, Sophie and Gilles were wonderful hosts; everything was perfect! They made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. Sophie prepared the most amazing gourmet breakfasts; always beautiful detailed and presented. Both were very friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations of wineries and local restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for sharing your home. • Karen (10/5): This is a wonderful place to stay for a beautiful small town. - The hosts were tremendous with a beautiful, clean property and wonderful, homemade, hearty breakfast. The hosts were also very knowledgeable of the area actions and restaurants. This is one of the best facilities that we have ever stayed at for a bed and breakfasts. A television in the one room would have been nice, but it was not necessary.

The soap & shampoo dispensers in the shower were very hard to use. I wonder if the liquid inside hadn't partially evaporated, leaving the residue very viscous . . .

Very gourmet and healthy, local farm to table ingredients and unique (soufflé, crepes). Sophie is really a wonderful French chef! Sophia and Gilles are very friendly and accommodating hosts and offered excellent dinner, winery, and other recommendations. The location is great. It is just a short 5-8 minute easy stroll to Queen Street so no need to drive there and pay for parking your car (assuming you are able to find parking). We also enjoyed relaxing in their beautiful and well equipped back yard. Just an overall wonderful experience. Nothing we didn't like. Consider putting a cup in bathroom for rinsing mouth/taking medicine and a bench to sit on to put shoes on by the front door.

The hosts were anxious to please, helped us with our luggage and checking in and checking out were quick and easy. Our room was cold and there was no thermostat in the room to adjust the temperature.

They also recommended a winery where we had a fantastic time - definitely take them up on their recommendations! The food was delicious both mornings and there was great conversation with the other guests. There were always snacks available and the backyard was a lovely oasis with lots of options and areas for seating. It was a short walk, just a few blocks of beautiful houses, to downtown.

Gilles and Sophie are amazing and attentive hosts. Gilles also fired up the pizza oven and grilled us Sophie’s fruit pizzas which we ate outdoors in the lovely backyard. Breakfasts were delicious and fun!

• Paul (10/5): We are planning to book for next year. Would not stay anywhere else in Ni - Sophie prepares excellent, innovative breakfasts. Our suite was very spacious, lots of room for our stuff. The B&B is a short 3-4 block walk from the Main Street, Queen street, and the Lake Ontario shore.
