• Pamela (4/5): Very shabby property and extremely disappointing. - The location was good and Sonny at the front desk was very nice. It was shabby, unkempt and a definite disappointment. The hallway carpet squares were loose and peeling. A chair at our end of the hallway had springs sticking out the bottom. Our room was dusty, no bedside lamps, the door to the toilet was extremely difficult to open and close. There were dark bits that looked like flakes of chocolate between the bed and the windows on an obviously poorly vacuumed carpet.

• R3681DZjasont (10/5): Best guest experience I have ever had for a hotel stay! - I had two separate stays in the month of march. I was in town for a business trip and both stays were top notch. Sonny was the gentleman that I had the pleasure of dealing with and he was simply amazing! Sonny was a pleasure to speak with and made my stay a memorable experience. When I arrived for my second trip Sonny remembered me and greeted my like we were old friends. It felt nice to be welcomed back, not as just another customer, but a welcomed and valued guest. I look forward to returning in the future and hope to see Sonny on the next trip. 5 Stars!

Brrrrr Toilet flange slow-leaked, so it ran intermittently. Forgot to tell them until check out-they apologized and noted it for repair. No microwave so no way to heat water for bedtime tea. The keurig isn’t for me. Positives far outweighed the negatives, but would have been a 10 if the shower was warm. Did not enjoy that lol.

• Dennis (5/5): Great design elements, not so great execution. - I liked the attempt of design and uniqueness of this hotel. There were multiple issues and while some were minor, like the tv backlight being broken causing the screen to have grid of white patches. What I really didn’t like was the floor not being vacuumed and counters not wiped down. One thing that really can’t be fixed is that the floor noise is quite loud. The person above us walked back and forth for a long time at 3am keeping us awake even while we had a sound machine running. If you were to stay here, request the top floor.

The bed was terribly squeaky every time you moved, it squeaked. The mattress was not that comfortable, and the pillows weren't either. A temporary charge of $150.00 was placed on my credit card for incidentals, which I think is very high considering the lack of amenities at the hotel.

• 198janisi (2/5): RUN AWAY from the DELAVAN HOTEL - Not sure where to begin!!! We stayed there 10/31--11/3 for Buffalo Bills game! Lobby looks clean enough, staff at check in were friendly!! The rooms---uggggghhhh!!!! Old, dirty, and falling apart is kind!!! Upon checkin we immediately called down to desk to explain there was a mint of the bathroom floor- dust all over, , stained carpet, crumbs in bathroom, no body lotion in dispenser, towels hung haphazardly and not enough towels!! Said they would come right up with towels--we are still waiting!! Stated we wanted the room completely cleaned the following day--out for the day only to return to our same mint still living on the bathroom floor--they had done the basic full and puff, was not clean! Told them about it once again! Third and final day (thank God) returned to our mint and same ole, same old!!!! They need housekeeping in a bad way--and a head of housekeeping!!!! We saw one elderly lady in hallway--I think she was the complete staff!! And tho I feel for her--at $200 plus a night--we expected a clean room!!! It's just so very dated, this needs to go in the $100 per night category!!! Went to the "business center" to try and print something only to find a plate of pasta and a coke sitting in front of computer--notified the desk agent (young white guy, dark hair) he couldn't be bothered!!! This was the same guy we usually delt with on our live in mint situation--he couldn't be bothered then either!! On a more positive note--Salvatores bar was fun and a walk back into the 80"s where all the men were a Wayne Newton look alike on the prowl big time!! it was an amusing watch and bartenders there were great!! We are originally from Buffalo and if we get back, would come to the bar again--but RUN from this hotel my friends!!!
• W7142DUwilliamm (6/5): Food desert - Very nice Hotel only negative is the total lack of services from 10am till 4pm. Can’t even get a cup of coffee. If your stuck in the hotel your only choice to is travel to a restaurant. In my case I did not rent a car and it was raining.
• mdQ4351KE (8/5): Good experience - We had a wonderful time during our visit. We enjoyed the live musical performance at dinner. It was a beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere, honestly making the whole evening special and boosting our enjoyment. And I “must” give a shout out to Sonny at the front desk. He was an absolute gem. His professionalism was top notch, he was attentive to our needs, and his genuine willingness to help was truly remarkable. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a seamless and pleasant experience, and it made a huge difference on our overall stay. The room was clean. The food and service was excellent. No complaints.

Advertised a free included breakfast but that was false advertising, Luckily there is a nearby Cracker Barrel!

There was a system glitch and I technically didn’t have a room and he made sure to find one for us. In my mind he made the hotel. • petej900 (2/5): Poor customer service, disrespectful management.. - Visited for a wedding to help manage grandkids.. reservation made for adjoining rooms.. upon arrive the 2 rooms were on different floors…,per phone conversation front desk offered a room on the same floor, agreed.. went to desk to get key card, told room already rented. Not given logical reason why rooms were initially changed from being adjoining, to separate floors. Not given receipt on checkout, not given coupons for $10 for breakfast…was told manager would talk to us and fix issues…. Crickets… nothing. Will not be staying here again…

Stayed here many times in the past but some maintenance of the place needs attention, clearly visible debris and string and paint chips and wall paper separation are clear signs that management is not addressing the most basic tennant of a clean property For close to $200 a night the experience is more of a motel 6 at this point- a shame, hope they make corrections.

• armani421 (2/5): BLOOD ON SHEETS - Stayed at the Delavan for only one night, wish it wasn’t any nights. Checked in at 4pm, the room was ready so we went up to the room. We noticed our room door was cracked open, assuming housekeeping had just cleaned it and forgot to close the door all the way. We walked into the room and everything seems fine. Of course when you come to stay at a hotel you start to do your own cleaning, a wipe down of everything and make sure the bed is nice and clean, in this case the bed was not clean. As we proceed to check the bed we pull the sheets back and we notice an old blood stain on the sheets. We were truly disgusted and disappointed considering the housekeeping guy had just finished cleaning our room. We call the front desk and the young lady was nice about it and moved us to a completely new room on a new floor. After moving to a new room and floor, we still managed to find small stains on the pillowcases and sheets. At that point we were just ready to relax. So, the young lady brought us up pillowcases and new sheets and we just changed everything ourselves. With all of that we just will never stay here again. This was our second time and will be our last! Our first time staying at The Delavan was great, but this time around it was just horrible. Wouldn’t recommend.

• Chaz (10/5): - The Delavan was amazing! We stayed in the Harriett Suite my wife and I agree its one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was beautiful, deep tub, rainfall showerhead and his/hers vanity. The facilities were well kept gym included. I love that the gift shop is 24 hours and that Perla, Italian Prime, and the Chandelier Bar are all attached the food is delicious and the drinks are creative and stiff. Allison was very accommodating and polite i will definitely return when I go see my Buffalo Bills play as they are 15 minutes from highmark stadium and about 35 minutes from Niagara Falls, we loved it!!!

• francescA3494PK (4/5): Inept Housekeeping - Unfortunately I have to rate this hotel two stars. The bed wasn't made although the signage stated the room was available when front desk management was informed I was told you have to request on a daily basis for you bed to be made. Also, clean towels were left folded on the sink, bathroom sink wasn't cleaned, and the area around refrigerator was dirty. Overall housekeeping is inept and they had the audacity to leave an envelope for a tip. I do not recommend this hotel as I will never give them my money again.

• Spencer (2/5): - I don’t normally like being harsh but this is not a 4 star hotel. Other than the restaurant that is attached, the very nice concierge Sonny, and the gentleman who serves breakfast with a smile, this hotel is terrible. I stayed for 3 nights and my room had stains all over the pillows and sheeting. I only asked for room service to clean my room on the 2nd day and they did not clean my room or even make the bed. All they did was replace my towels and toilet paper. Further, as you can see from the photos, the state of the hotel is in disrepair with the floor tiles coming up from the floor. I have absolutely no idea how this hotel has a 4 star rating, but you are better off at any of the 3 star rated chains compared to this location.
• Karen (9/5): A comfortable nice place to stay close to airport. - the room was large and very clean. Great bathroom and comfy beds. We had room service for dinner and it was excellent.
• Nedim (9/5): Clean, spacious, and pretty quite room - Clean and spacious room, with plenty of parking spots. During check-in, the lady at reception informed us that a $150 authorization would be placed on our card in case of any damages, and that the amount would be released back to our account immediately the next morning. However, the lady at check-out the very next day told us it could take up to five days to receive the money. While this wasn’t an issue for us personally, I find this kind of communication highly unprofessional and misleading. What if we had needed access to those funds during that time?

We always see the same staff at the check in desk and it makes us think that the management is doing a great job taking care of their employees. We'll be back for sure! The decoration during Christmas is absolutely amazing!

• Daniel (6/5): - Long term stays have to ask to get service and fresh towels. They can’t fix the bed or change the trash. Decent room for Buffalo but you’d think the premium price would solicit excellent service. It doesn’t. No bed bugs so there’s that. The suite has a nice bathroom and some extra space. Have to call to get ice. Room service done at 9:00. Thought it would have more for $250 a night.
• Amy (10/5): - Beautiful room and lovely decor throughout the hotel.
• Adam (8/5): A couple of updates please - Two things that I feel need to be addressed. The hot water in the shower was only so so. Also, no phone charging outlets.
• Frances (10/5): - It is wonderful to have the Chandelier bar, Italian Prime restaurant and Perla all in the same complex. The beds were comfortable. The only negative was the noise from room above, could hear the walking back and forth. Our room on the 2nd floor
• Roberto (5/5): Just ok - Fancy Heard noise outside of my room all early morning around 3am. Bed was very uncomfortable. No full control over AC and got hot at night. Could hear footsteps of people above me. A little expensive to have these kind of issues. On top of the price also had to leave $150 holding deposit until checkout.

• KEVIN (9/5): Exceptionally relaxing. - Clean, elegant, tasteful, spacious. I really enjoyed my stay. The sheets were a little coarse if you don't just sleep.
• Jose (2/5): - We had to cancel one night. The room was dirty. We were moved to another rooms and found cockroach in the mattress (dead) and on the wall (walking)
