- Paige (6/5): Dreaded Coming Back to our Room - The location was amazing for getting around Verona--we were in the middle of it all BUT coming home each night to sleep was a bit of a nightmare. The bed was EXTREMELY firm--hardly better than sleeping on the floor. The curtains had cigarette burns in then, the decor was quite dated, and there was lipstick left on the glass in the cabinet. The room may have been cleaned prior to our stay but it still felt like a skeevy hotel. I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone else--pay the little extra so you can enjoy coming home from a long day of sight seeing.

Con un piccolo sovrapprezzo abbiamo potuto parcheggiare in un fantastico palazzo storico e abbiamo lasciato l'auto anche il giorno della partenza, permettendoci un ampio giro della città. Per migliorare l'hotel, i locali andrebbero completamente ristrutturati: la sensazione generale è di una struttura vecchia e poco tenuta. La camera, grande e confortevole, rispecchia questa sensazione. La colazione compresa nel prezzo era sufficiente anche se migliorabile per quantità e qualità della proposta. Il prezzo, sebbene allineato alle tariffe cittadine, è alto a mio parere.

- Verified traveler (6/5): 立地だけは最高。 - レジデンスなのでミニキッチンはついていましたが使えませんでした。ついているせいでコップとかも交換はなくタオルの交換も言わないとなしです。言っても完全ではないですが。部屋は２つあり広いですが、カビ臭さに閉口しました。場所はカステルヴェッキオの隣でアリーナに近くてオペラが終わった深夜に帰るのに便利で、すぐそばにスーパーマーケットもあり立地は星5つです。

- Ai Ling (10/5): Lovely stay at the old castle hotel - Love the big room we got that could have easily fit four person! We are only two person travelling. Love the kitchen that comes with it as well cause it kept all our fruits and drinks cool since it was a very hot summer. It was also very near the Arena, so it was great for walking home after an event. Would love to come back again. Breakfast was also awesome! Coffee here was also delicious. Thank you for having us! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Perfect for us as we only stayed the night in Verona. It was very close to all tourist attractions. Short taxi ride to the railway station.

- FABIO (8/5): Bom - Correu tudo muito bem. A funcionária da recepção muito simpática, até fez o check in antecipado. A localização é muito boa. O quarto era espaçoso e com utensílios de cozinha. Limpeza ok, arrumação diária mas sem troca de toalhas todos os dias. O pequeno almoço (café da manhã) era bom. Wi fi funciona com altos e baixos. A cama até era confortável mas fazia muito barulho ao me mexer. Mas recomendo na mesma.

- Andrea (6/5): Ottimo hotel essenziale - Struttura essenziale ma pulita dotata dei confort minimi necessari. Stanza enorme con angolo cottura e stoviglie a disposizione. Finestre affacciate sul Corso Cavour. Bagno un po' "casalingo" con vasca da bagno tradizionale e tendina in plastica. Doccia con acqua non miscelata e da regolare con le due manopole caldo/freddo. Kit di cortesia con shampoo, bagnoschiuma, saponettine e cuffie usa e getta. Posizione invidiabile a pochi metri dall'Arco dei Gavi, dal Castel Vecchio e dal Ponte Scaligero. In meno di 10 minuti a piedi si arriva a Piazza Bra (Arena) e a Piazza delle Erbe. La struttura è situata di fronte a uno dei migliori ristoranti di Verona in relazione al rapporto qualità prezzo (Trattoria dei Gavi). La stazione Porta Nuova si raggiunge a piedi in meno di 20 minuti. Colazione anch'essa essenziale ma dignitosa. Cortesia e disponibilità del personale nel dare informazioni pratiche. Giudizio complessivamente positivo

It is right in the heart of the action :) The staff on the front desk could however learn to smile once in a while? The room whilst aged was big. Has good and bad points :) Pick what means most to you :)
- Craig (8/5): Don't pass up as fantastic overall - Fantastic location right on the river. We had a room with french doors leading to 2 balconies with tables and chairs overseeing the river. We had a separate kitchen with a fridge and a huge comfortable queen bed and a dining area with a fireplace(non Working) . The breakfast included juice, coffee of your choice and tea, toast' croissants' fresh rolls, cakes,fruit ,yogurt ,cheeses ,salami and ham. The front desk always very helpful even for printing free of charge. Train station is a 20 minute walk. Great location 5 minute walk to all shopping and restaurants.The arena is about a 3 minute walk with entertainment and restaurants surrounding it. Shower with bathtub always with nice hot water great soaps and shower gell as well as shower caps and fluffy towels. Some areas of this hotel are currently being renovated (you do not hear any noise)so one can look forward to even better accomodations in the future. There is a nicely dressed little old lady ( in her late 80's),so sweet that sits in the lounge snoozing, wanders in and out of the breakfast room and seems to be cared for lovingly by the staff. When asked I was told she's the owner and still is taking an interest in the running of her establishment!

- Colin (8/5): Great value hotel in the heart of the city - Hotel is in a great position for visiting the sights of Verona. It is clean and comfortable although a little tired and dated. We had not only a double room but a full bathroom, kitchen and seating area!

The breakfast was tasty too. The location was excellent; very close to the castle, the arena, and only a 20 minute walk from the train station.
