Guest Reviews
- Rashmi (10/5): - All in all a very very good experience. Right from the room to the restaurant and the promptness of response of the staff to any request. The location could've been better.
- hema (8/5): -
- Muriel (8/5): Nice place for our family meeting - Nice staff, people where very helpful. They gave us a room earlier and helped us as we lost one of our family members. Nice restaurants and shops near the hotel. A little bit old
- Ravindra (10/5): -
- sonia (7/5): excellent reception man - good pool had no chairs
- Sunil (8/5): Great location. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Goa as well as to Candolim beach - The staff was excellent as well as the location of the property. Guest on the floor above us kept moving furniture till 2am and this scraping noise was very disturbing. Complaints to the reception made no difference.
- Aman (8/5): - Nice property and comfortable stay
- Neil (10/5): Staff were extremely helpful and would recommend staying here. - Perfect location to explore candolim
- Priya (10/5): -
- Akhil (7/5): Good, staff was excellent - Location was great Would be nice to have a one or two more options in the Non-veg breakfast
- Inderjeet (9/5): Good experience - Very nice property and good staff !! Air conditioners are bit slow
- Ilir (9/5): - Das Frühstück is sehr üppig und das Personal sehr bemüht. Die Zimmer sehr gut eingerichtet und sauber Leider ist am Abend sehr laut durch die Musik in den umliegenden Bars und Lokalen
- Ann Louise (8/5): Great stay - Rooms were large and comfortable, good breakfast and location The pool is on the roof and there is no shade available. Would be better if there was some parasols and comfy sun loungers
- Riaz (7/5): Well location property with average rooms - Location Rooms
- DR. RAJESHKUMAR SAMBHE (10/5): -
- HEM DUTT (9/5): -
- Rahul (7/5): Comfortable but average - The location of the property is superb! The pool is also good, but it should have been constructed strategically on the other side for a sunset view. Faced 3-4 power cuts and the power back took quite some time to come up. Also, faced issue with bill generation because the system kept rebooting (guess it wasn’t connected to a UPS)
- Khan (9/5): -
- Neil (4/5): Disappointing - Dear Manager,
We would like to bring to your attention the numerous issues we faced during our recent stay at your hotel, which began from the time we checked in and severely affected our overall experience.
From Day 1, we encountered persistent problems:
Internet issues: The Wi-Fi was not working in our room (206) throughout the stay, despite repeated notifications to the front desk. This was never resolved until our check-out.
Water issues: On the day of check-in, we were not informed about the ongoing water problems at the hotel due to non-functioning pumps. Additionally:
The washbasin in our room had water clogging issues.
The water supplied had an unpleasant and foul smell, making it extremely difficult to use.
Even after reporting the issue on Day 1, we were not notified that the water problems would persist on Day 2.
What made the situation worse was that during the afternoon, we were unable to rest properly due to loud renovation work, including nailing and fixing activities happening on the floors above our rooms.
If the hotel was already aware of the water supply issues and ongoing renovations, why were the bookings not temporarily paused to ensure guest comfort and safety?
The most concerning incident occurred on the night of the 21st when we returned to our rooms and found that hotel staff had entered our rooms without any prior notification or permission to remove the buckets of water provided earlier.
This is a serious breach of our privacy, security, and safety.
We were left to question:
Does the hotel have only those three buckets, requiring their immediate retrieval from our rooms without guest consent?
Are your staff not trained or aware that entering a guest’s room without informing them is completely unacceptable?
Or is it common practice at your hotel for staff to enter guests’ rooms in their absence?

- Thomas (10/5): Comfortable and Enjoyable stay at Lemon Tree. - Our stay at the Lemon Tree Hotel Candolim was enjoyable and comfortable. Staff were very helpful, polite, and warm in their general dealing with us. Our special thank you to Tiasha at the reception for going that extra mile, ensuring our stay there went smoothly and seamlessly. Also, Ajai and Anisha were also fantastic. Chef Jai's skills and freshly made delecious food ensured our meal experience exceeded our expectations.
Our room was spacious, well laid out and comfortable.
Along with manager Suresh, Piyush at the restaurant, Sunny at the front office were all part of the team who made our stay memorable there.
Thank you everyone at the Lemon Tree.
See you again. Window blinds were not working properly, causing a little trouble getting natural light through. Bathroom should have a towel rail on the wall, bedlinen/one pillowcase had some stains, which needs some attention..
- Isla (7/5): Great location - Hotel staff very friendly. Rooms looking a little bit dated now Nothing
- Sumit (4/5): Disappointing -
- Karan (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Rocky ………. Picture Show and they know it - Rocky Horror Picture Show. The less said the better. I am a several times return guest here but this time the wheels fell off this property. Pls fix or bad times await. A popular tourist hotel of this nature cannot be run by receptionists and housekeeping staff without any supervisory role for a packed hotel. I am in touch with senior management and will wait till corrective action takes place.
- Fejfar (2/5): Very poor -
- Achary (3/5): Poor - The hotel staff were great, especially the porters and restaurant staff. They were helpful and accommodating to my kids who would ask for refills of freshly made naan bread during the lunch and dinners. The buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinners were delicious, although not a very wide spread, we still got to taste the flavors of Goa. I loved the Goan fish curries while my kids devoured the veggie curries and aloo parothas. Kudos to the chef who did an amazing job with the Masala dosa and Sambar for breakfast. The location was good for access to main road and walking distance from Candolim Beach and other shops which was the cleanest, quietest beach from 29th Dec to 31st Dec. Candolim Beach was amazing. I recommend staying close to Candolim if you are looking for quiet, relaxing time on the beach. Try Ram's Shack for delicious on the beach Goan curries. Upon arrival, I noticed that the floors were dirty. I could not walk barefoot without getting my feet dirty. It looked like there was no mopping going on during housekeeping, just sweeping. If I placed a bath mat on the bathroom floor, it would get brown. Floors need a good scrub. The hotel was very, very expensive for what they offered me, the facilities were not up to the expectation for the price. I booked through booking.com and ended up with a full board, not what I wanted, as I like the flexibility to eat outside the hotel. I'm totally put off staying at any Lemon Tree hotel now. Not very clean room.
- Rushi (7/5): Good -
- Shylaja (5/5): Passable -
- Kaizad (5/5): Passable if you go with low expectations. I thought Lemon Tree brand was better than that. - The room was good and spacious but they need some work as the hotel feels very worn out. The rooms feel very worn out, there is absolutely no front desk staff to assist with basic needs, their swimming pool and gym facilities have not been maintained so can’t really use them.
- Vishweswar (8/5): Very good -
- Anu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nayum (1/5): Bad - Poor se bhi poor property no Ac work light chli jati h h machhar itne h ki bs Kuch bhi like jaise nhi h property ek dum khtm room m Ac se pani arha h toilet m pani nhi na kuch 0000 bikul 0
- Khatavkar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rakesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krishna (7/5): Good - Hotel staff was very courteous including the house keeping staff, location was excellent Children were complaining of the pool size being small
- Ghosh (7/5): Good -
- Abhay (5/5): Passable -
- Manoj (8/5): Very nice and peaceful stay, value for money highly recommended - Very Good stay and good staff at the reception as well as restaurant Actually it's a quite a nice hotel.
- Babu (2/5): Very poor - Not good as like other Lemon Tree Hotels Poor Maintenance of the Rooms
- Aditi (9/5): Superb -
- Kulkarni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sagar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shaikh (2/5): Bad - Very bad property no amenities sad stay poor quality of bed
- Nilesh (9/5): Superb -
- Amit (7/5): Good - The food at Cafe citrus is awesome and worth the money spent. Chef personally visits and check with patrons what they would like & customizes it as per the customer request. Property is a bit old and not in the same standard as in rest of India.
- Priyanka (7/5): Good -
- Santanu (5/5): Should be beach-goer friendly - Breakfast was good. Staff were good Customers are returning from the beach. There should be a provision to clean sandals before entering room and option of shower to clean sands from the body. Every time coming out of toilet makes the floor dirty. Management does not have this common sense. Further, there should be a small towel/carpet immediately outside the toilet. Remember that people come here only to visit beach. And every time feet and body gets dirty after returning from beach. Further water flow in toilet is not strong.
- Shubham (8/5): Amazing -
- Jayesh (8/5): Very good -
- Vijaykumar (7/5): Good -
- Satish (7/5): Good -
- Jayesh (7/5): Good -
- Karishma (7/5): Good - cafe staff was very helpful very dim lighting in the room couldn’t read a book.
only 1 sanitary pad disposal bag and it was not replaced with a new one after room was cleaned next day so I had to arrange my own
- Helen (6/5): restaurant had very few chouces - great location pool was not friendly. up on the roof and nothing to look at
- Chris (5/5): Not worth the money I paid. - location the dining room staff cleared away the breakfast buffet at 10.30 instead of 11, even as they saw me enter the dining room.
They were rude.
- Anup (6/5): Dissapointing - I think some cost cutting at play. breakfast is very limited due to covid though ajay at the restaurant was good. Not usual Lemon Tree experience which is comfortable and clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Service provided by Babita and her coworkers was superb the buffet was delicious and the rooms were spacious and very clean. My wife and I had an excellent stay thanks to all the friendly staff at lemon tree hotel in candolim pinto Vaddo
- Vibhas Kumar (6/5): . - .
- Ravinder (6/5): Good location - Good location, staff where excellent.
Only downfall of this hotel was that you couldn't sleep at night because of loud from Fisherman's Cove & Bendine Bamboo.
- Sunil (8/5): Stay at Lemon Tree Candolim - Property location is excellent and so is the service but the property is in need of lots of maintenance. Very friendly staff and always there to help. Breakfast is ok.
- Nataly (8/5): - Great location in Candolim! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room has all the basic necessities.
- Pallavi (8/5): good hotel - wifi issues - was quite good! I had issue accessing wifi - after the first day wifi connection was disconnected
- Sandy S (4/5): Would not recommend - Staff except for one person was not knowledgeable or helpful. Check was painful. Room was OK but facilities were substandard.
With the help of one staff member managed to transfer to another hotel at no charge.
- vid (4/5): disappointed - no staff, no proper setup in place, newly acquired hotel.. super disappointed. but this place is close to candolim beach , lots of eateries around .
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good hotel near to beach area - Very good family experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Specially I would like to mention Rakesh name. He was very helpful and took special care of my 2 year kid.
Nearby you can get everything. Nice restaurants, mostly of the beaches are nearby.
- Krzysztof (10/5): Fantastycznie - Bardzo przyjemny hotel miły personel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel though candolim not for me. - Hotel great. Staff great. Unfortunately candolim wasn't the goa I was looking for. Ok for package tourists. But I moved to a beach hut in the south .
