- Sightseer75857 (10/5): Lancaster hotel Bangkok - We stayed at the Lancaster hotel in Bangkok for 3 nights in March. The hotel itself was lovely, very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The rooftop pool and bar areas were great after a day of exploring the city. The hotel is not central but close to public transport options. Breakfast was included with our reservation, there was plenty of choice with some dishes cooked fresh in front of you. Our room was also huge.

We loved the rooftop pool area and bar after a busy day sightseeing around Bangkok. There was nothing in particular we didn't like about the hotel. The hotel is a little from the centre of Bangkok but public transport makes it very easy to get around the city.

- iam_dre (10/5): Solid 5* hotel, one of our favourite hotels in the world! - Our 2nd time staying at the Lancaster Bangkok and it was just as good as the 1st. We have stayed at many 5* and 7* hotels around the world and this one is top of our list. This is a solid 5* hotel: room layout, amenities, bed, pillows, bath, shower, toilet, BG, gym, pool, restaurant, location, staff are all top notch. We stayed in a Deluxe King room on the 8th floor and the shower pressure was very powerful, water always boiling hot for baths. All electrical sockets are international, UK-friendly. HDMI port to TV also on desk wall. Two 7-11's across the road & abt 10 mins walk to MRT (Petchaburi) & ARL (Makassan). The hotel also offers free shuttle to the MRT which is convenient if you have luggage. There is hardly anything I could think of which would make our experience any better. However, if I had to be picky I would say: - Complimentary bath foam would be nice - An area for guests to sit and do some work after checking out as opposed to the large sofa in reception - BG in reception toilets If you are looking for a solid 5* hotel in Bangkok at good value, the Lancaster will be pretty hard to beat. This hotel is a must for us whenever we are in Bangkok!

- Jake (10/5): Superb modern 5 star hotel, short tuk tuk ride to most central places - Room was great, very modern, clean, great water pressure in the shower There's not really much within waking distance. I knew this when I booked so not an issue for me. I just wanted somewhere that was very close to an ARL station for easy access to the airport in the morning and this is great for that.

- joannebV7996WX (8/5): Hotel was pretty good - Hotel rooms were spacious and well equipped. The lobby was decorated beautifully and the staff was very professional and knowledgeable. They had a tourist guide located in the lobby so we were able to book towards within the hotel. The breakfast could have been better they had several choices but the food was never hot. I stuck with the omelettes because they made to order. Loved the pool area, very relaxing. Also had a massage, It was a 4 out 5. I don’t think they were very experienced in deep tissue. location was ok. It wasn’t as close to attractions and malls as we thought. The train station was very close which was a plus. The hotel was good I would recommend it if you like being away from the tourist areas.

Nice pool on 12th floor that could be a bit larger and have more loungers. Best BKK choice if you want to be close to the ARL (10 min. walk to Makkasan station, 7 to MRT Blue line).

This was our second stay at Lancaster Bangkok, and we will definitely be returning again in the future.

- Unazaki (10/5): Excellent soft and hard product at a great price and convenient location! - This hotel is very conveniently situated near 2 train stations and multiple bus stops! Very easy to head around Bangkok if you want to see the sights or head to work. Room was also very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming to me! I even got a welcome gift of dried mangoes!! :) Price wise, it was also pretty decent considering it was offering 5 star service in a convenient location. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a 5 star hotel for leisure or work, but don't want to pay Four Seasons level prices! X3

- Fabienne (10/5): Luxuriöses, sauberes und perfekt ausgestattes Hotel mit tollem Personal! - Wir waren das 3. Mal zu Gast im Lancaster Bangkok und können wirklich absolut nichts negatives berichten. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und immer freundlich, die Zimmer sind groß und vor allem sehr sauber! Das Bett ist unfassbar bequem. Lediglich ein Smart-TV zum Netflix schauen fehlt. Alles war perfekt.

If not eating out don’t miss happy hour (2 for 1)in the lobby bar & at the rooftop bar until 9pm. Good menu choice at the onsite Italian restaurant too. Would definitely recommend.

- Dmitrii (8/5): Great hotel and service, but heavy traffic makes daily commuting painful - I moved to Lancaster Bangkok for about a week (Dec 7–16) to stay closer to a colleague. The hotel feels luxurious — maybe even a bit too fancy, but service, restaurant quality, and staff politeness were all exactly what you expect from a high-end place. Getting to Sukhumvit and Terminal 21 is easy enough — about 15–20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by bike. The location became a real problem because of heavy traffic. If you need to commute by taxi — especially towards Nawamin — prepare for long rides. Morning and evening trips regularly took 40–60 minutes, which made daily work life uncomfortable. Because of this, I didn’t even use the hotel properly — skipped breakfasts, skipped my usual morning pool routine, and had to wake up earlier than normal just to make it to the office by 9.
