• Eline (9/5): Zeer goed! - Het was een ontzettend leuk opgezet hotel met een heerlijk buffetontbijt op het dakterras. Het centrum was ongeveer 5-10 minuutjes lopen. We mochten bij uitchecken onze bagage even achterlaten dus dat was ook erg prettig. Je kan ook niet zomaar het hotel in. Er zit altijd iemand om je binnen te laten na een belletje als beveiliging. De receptie sprak niet echt Engels dus dat was wat onhandig soms.

• Ewa (9/5): Very comfortable stay in Arequipa - We enjoyed very much our stay in the hotel. This small hotel has a simple but nice design. Our room had a very comfortable bed- we slept there very well. It was very quiet too. The breakfast on the rooftop with the beautiful view at the volcano was also very nice. We had some Good coffee and bread, fresh vegetables and fruit. The staff was very friendly! We liked the hotel a lot so we stayed here twice during our trip. You have to be patient when taking the shower- it takes long to get hot water. The rooms are also quite cold (no heating). But there are plenty of blankets to use for the night.

• Francisco (10/5): Excelente relación calidad/precio en San Lázaro - La habitación es espaciosa y muy cómoda, había una pequeña nevera. En el tercer piso tenía vistas de la ciudad. El desayuno muy completo. Tener que llamar cada vez que quieres entrar. Estaría bien tener una llave de la entrada para tener más independencia.

• Angel (9/5): Muy buena opcion si deseas quedarte por San Lazaro - El sitio es muy bonito, y tiene unas buenas vistas desde la terraza. El desayuno es basico pero tiene lo que necesitas y tipo buffet. Los cuartos son amplios y comodos, y aunque algo basicos tienen su propio baño. El staff se ofrecio a guardarnos las maletas durante el dia tambien, lo que fue de gran ayuda, y nos permitieron hacer un early check-in puesto que nuestra habitacion estaba lista. Relacion calidad-precio es muy buena.

• Lara (9/5): Molt bé. - Es bonic, esta a 10 min del centre. El personal es molt amable, vam comprar llet vegetal i ens la guardaven per els nostres esmorzars. Ens van preparar esmorzar per endur quan teniem excursio que matinavem. Potser que quan hi ha gent a la terrassa s'escolta tot, però vam demanar silenci i la gent de l'hotel els va fer parlar més fluix.

La habitación era amplia y cómoda y estaba limpia. El problema de la ducha es que se sale el agua por todos los lados y en nuestro caso tres personas, pues se queda todo muy mojado. Tampoco hay ningún tipo de calefacción para el frío

Cold showers everyday as never managed to get it warm even when I only had the hot tap running . Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the volcano was nice . The staff weren’t too friendly, literally only got a hello and goodbye from them The whole stay . Even when I asked questions about directions to places or recommendations they didn’t seem interested so I just used Google . You have to ring the doorbell every time you come back , which was fine most of the times but one evening we came back around midnight and the receptionist was asleep , we could see her through the window . We stood outside in the cold for about 20 mins . The shower never got warm

• Jennifer (9/5): - This is a cute, boutique hotel. The sunsets are amazing. The top floor used for breakfast has an amazing view of the city. The staff were great. Breakfast was ample. There's a little drain located right under the main entrance door, so you may get wet feet/shoes before you enter the building if you don't see it. I thought it was odd, the first thing that came to my mind was whether it was sewer water.. Our room was next to a room where the light was on all night and they watched the local news loudly at 5 AM. We thought this might be a staff room.

Petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse (ou à emporter si on part avant l'horaire). Les lieux hyper propres, la literie super confortable. La douche résonne et la grille d'évacuation est trop petite.

• Jeannette (10/5): - Tolles, gemütliches Hotel, in einer wirklich schönen Umgebung von Arequipa. Alles war sauber und die Zimmer waren gross genug für drei Personen. Das tolle Frühstück konnten wir auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Stadt geniessen. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten.

• Charlotte (9/5): Top ! - J’ai séjourné à l’hôtel El Portal De San Lázaro à Arequipa et j’ai beaucoup apprécié mon passage. L’établissement est très bien situé, dans une ruelle calme du centre historique, à seulement quelques minutes à pied de la place principale. C’est parfait pour visiter la ville à pied sans être gêné par le bruit du centre. La chambre était propre, confortable et bien entretenue. Le personnel a été vraiment accueillant et attentionné, toujours prêt à rendre service, ils m’ont même préparé un petit-déjeuner à emporter avant un départ tôt le matin. Le petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse offre une belle vue sur la ville et crée une ambiance paisible pour bien commencer la journée. C’est un hébergement plein de charme, idéal pour découvrir Arequipa tout en profitant d’un bon confort et d’un excellent rapport qualité-prix. RAS

Mon ami a des restrictions alimentaires et la dame du petit déjeuner lui a fait une omelette sur mesure le jour même et a carrément changé le menu le lendemain. Le petit dej était suuuper bon, copieux et frais. Le meilleur petit-déjeuner qu’on ait pu faire au Pérou.

• Andreas (10/5): Eine tolle Adresse, rundum sehr empfehlenswert - Die Lage ist super. Das Frühstück auf dem Rooftop, hoch über der Stadt und im Angesicht der Vulkane - unbezahlbar! Und in der Altstadt, alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Schöner Innenhof. Und nachts hört man den Fluss rauschen, so still ist es. Und: sehr nette und hilfreiche Gastgeber!

• Darryl (10/5): I enjoyed a beautiful stay and I hope to do it again someday. - The location of this hotel is the most quaint section of Arequipa. The breakfast is conducted on the rooftop terrace with a gorgeous view of the city and one of the its key volcanoes. Everything was excellent.

Fauteuils, divans, chaises longues etc. La terrasse pour le déjeuner (petit déjeuner pour les français) était magnifique avec vue sur les monts enneigés. L'établissement a été rénové mais à quelques endroits les murs et les plafonds fendillent ou la peinture boursoufle. Ils devraient pouvoir corriger cela par un entretien continu.

• Rosanne (7/5): Prima hotel - Op zich een prima hotel, ruime kamer. Bed sliep prima. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt was maar tot 9u. Na een lange hike wilde ik graag uitslapen. Ze hebben een ontbijtpakketje gemaakt, dat was wel fijn. Er lagen een paar haren op de lakens, niet echt fris. De douche had een goede straal, maar de temperatuur was moeilijk in te stellen. Ofwel heel heet of te koud. Verder grenste de kamer aan een binnenplaats, waardoor het erg gehorig was.

El colchón un poco duro y no se podía ver televisión por poca señal, por lo demás super bien, en especial la atención.
