Guest Reviews
- Alan (10/5): - All Great...
- Manoj (6/5): - Friendly staff but old property not in great condition.
- Brian (8/5): Secret gem in Costa Rica - My wife and I just shared a wonderful Valentine's celebration at Hotel Tangeri. The hotel staff were super nice and helpful and the whole vibe of the place were just what we were looking for. We would definitely good back :)
- Laura (8/5): - Great location in Jacó. Facility has a long history of catering to Costa Rican travellers and offers low key but very helpful and supportive customer service.
- Robin (8/5): - The property was worn and dated. It was fine for a one night stay, I would not stay longer than that.
- Danny (10/5): - Great place to stay in Jaco.
- Guillermo (10/5): - Amazing
- Michael (4/5): Weird rules and $3.50 for a scoop of sour cream - The location is great. Right on the beach. However, had problems with the room. No hot water for two days in the bathroom sink and internet in the room was terrible.
I wanted sour with my potatoes that came with the omelette and they charged $3.50 for a small scoop of sour cream.
I also asked about bringing my guest on the property (my real estate agent) but my friend in another room said he had been told no guests were allowed. So, I asked at the front desk and was to the same thing - no guests on the property. So, I had to meet my real agent in a restaurant.
When I complained about the above the girl at the front desk just gave me a blank stare about didn't offer to do anything about the issues.
Very weird place. Would not go again except as a last resort.
- Tim (8/5): - This was our first time in Costa Rica, Jaco. We enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciate how hard the staff@Hotel Tangeri y Villas works to made every attempt to accommodate us. The room (albeit l bit outdated) was clean and worked for our family of three. The grounds were well maintained & the food & service was great. We’d like to say gracias to everyone: Front desk Daniella, Charlene, Jan. Restaurant/ pool crew: Renee, Joseph Minor, Ronell(two waitresses). All security guards & all housekeeping. We can’t wait to return to Costa Rica!
- Stephen (10/5): - This is an older property with a lot of charm!
- Karla (10/5): - En general muy bien
- opal (10/5): - Very nice hotel. Amazing staff. Front desk ladies are so helpful and was always there when I needed them through WhatsApp. The made all my arrangements for tours and transfers effortlessly. The restaurant was really good. The food was delicious. Breakfast every morning was great and dinner was also great.
At 1st I didn’t like my room, 101. I was greeted by mosquitoes and the curtains would not close. The view was amazing ocean front but I did not feel comfy as a solo traveler staying in the grind floor so close to the public beach. I was moved with no problem to the 2nd floor and that room was more updated and more comfortable. No mosquitoes.
Hotel is conveniently located on the Main Street for shopping , plenty of restaurants and everything you might need. The hotel is quiet and peaceful. I recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Evelyn (6/5): - This property is lacking a lot of updates. There are 3 pools but one was dirty and the filters didn’t work. The other pools weren’t that clean either. There was only one restaurant and the food choices were limited. I stayed at one of the villas and I was very disappointed with the kitchen set up and appliances. Again, everything was outdated. The safe in the room was antiquated and tiny. The main door was not secure with one push it could be opened. They offered breakfast with stay but they didn’t serve fruit and anything additional was more money.
- oscar (10/5): - Muy bien situada excelente mantenimiento pero por ser tan vieja hay cosas que no sirven muy bien , pero relación precio ubicación y servicios muy bien
- amy (8/5): - Great pools with gardens all around and wonderful ocean views. We enjoyed watching the iguanas and birds while sitting by the pool. Plenty of shaded areas to avoid the extreme sun. The rooms were basic but clean. Everything worked as it should which is a bonus in Costa Rica. The breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly.
- vanessay660 (8/5): Not fancy but lovely - Apartments are functional and clean, nothing fancy but all slept well (5 of us across 2 apartments). There are 3 small pools, one of which was being retiled whilst we were there but to be fair they were doing it quietly. Lovely pools and iguanas slowly pondering life around you - fabulous! We counted at least 8 iguanas daily and they were fascinating to watch.
Restaurant is great, good breakfast with a great view and we ended up going for tea a few times too and it was decent. Beachfront location and near the pools. Can get waiter service for drinks by the pool if you want.
Reception really helpful, although trips they run are expensive and can get them much cheaper on the Main Street.
Beach didn’t seem particularly safe if you weren’t a strong swimmer so wouldn’t recommend for families. Decent to walk on though.
Costa Rica is a beautiful country with fascinating wildlife and friendly people - would definitely return.
- leeannh719 (10/5): Would stay here again if returning to the area! - Ideal location. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. On-site outdoor, beachfront restaurant is amazing. Gorgeous sunset views here. Close to downtown with lots of shopping, but away from the noise of downtown. Some amazing wildlife on property.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great beach-front stay! - We stayed in a villa and had a wonderful time. Breakfast was wonderful, stay is just steps off the beach, and it was a great place to see the natural flora and fauna of the area (many birds, iguanas, small frogs) while being along the main strip of Jaco.
- JENS (10/5): - Sehr leise, sehr guter Schlaf
- Kenneth (8/5): - Excellent view from 103. Very good internet. Free breakfast was excellent.
- Salena (6/5): - The city was dead and not much to do. The area was fairly quiet.
- Dee (10/5): - My family and I have been going to this hotel for over 30 yrs and it has never disappointed us. Our children learned to swim in the larger rectangular pool many years ago and last year we brought our grandson there for his 2nd birthday and he had a blast in the kids pools with our now grown son, his father.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. Grounds are always kept nice and clean. Food is always fresh and tasty. I have recommended this hotel numerous times to family and friends.
Will continue to frequent this hotel as long as they keep up their awesome establishment.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Nice, peaceful place. Staff was very friendly!
- Laurie (8/5): - This was a nice stay. It met our needs completely. Friendly check in, safe, there was a guard all day and night. Right on the beach.
A few things to know. The villas/rooms are not on the beach, there isn't a "view' from your room. Villas have a full kitchen and sitting room, a bathroom/dressing area and a bedroom with two quite comfortable double/full beds. The only room that has an air conditioner is the bedroom. It was very cool in the sleeping area, but the bathroom/shower, kitchen was warm. We wouldn't spend any time in the villa, only to change, get ready and sleep.
Breakfast was good - the bar area was large and right on the beach with a view of the waves. Nice to be able to have a night cap after dinner and walking around the town. Front desk got us a taxi for the airport $110. The three small pools were nice. The beach is a dark sand/rocky beach, and there is a freshwater river running right next to the property, that flows into the ocean - that you need to walk across to walk the beach. Beautiful wave watching. Great central location in the middle of Jaco, walking to anywhere you need to go. We came from a stay at the beautiful and swanky Marriott property from a work trip, so this place was a few stars down from the place we came from, but it was good for what we needed for a couple nights.
- MARIANELA (8/5): Bonito y frente al mar - El Hotel está muy bien ubicado, limpio. Buena atención. Hay que tener cuidado con las iguanas, en el restaurante me picó una.
- tannithj2022 (10/5): Highly recommend - Beautiful place!! Staff are wonderful and extremely helpful and food is excellent. Layout of pool and facilities perfect and beach 10 second walk. Rooms clean and bright and the mattress was very comfortable. Very close to down town. Would stay here again for sure. Highly recommended.
- deborahpI5350QI (10/5): Amazing! Perfect location! - We had so much fun here! Breakfast was delicious and our server Alexa was super helpful and attentive! The restaurant was right on the beach and our room was perfect. The hotel also had three different pools, but we spent most of our time in the ocean. Would definitely recommend!
- Leslie (10/5): Wonderful stay - The staff were wonderful and the room was clean. It was nice and quiet and we had a very enjoyable stay.
- carrie (4/5): - There are almost no dishes in the kitchen and the stove takes about an hour to cook an egg. The room was so hot we couldn't stand to be inside. The listing doesn't say that the air conditioning is only in the bedroom so unless you're sleeping the heat is unbearable. We were charged an extra $40 per night for my husband to stay. They claimed the pricing is based on one person and we were too tired to look for somewhere else to stay, having booked months in advance. They ALSO charged us for our breakfasts and emailed us a bill. The breakfast is also supposed to be included and the menu even says "if you are a guest, you may choose from one of the following breakfast items... pancakes, eggs and toast, etc." and they ask your room number. I'll be forwarding these complaints to Expedia, but I doubt they'll ever credit it back. I would NEVER stay here again! It's close to the main shopping strip and the pool was a nice relief from the heat of the room, but the property is very old and run-down. Even without over-charging us it wasn't worth it.
- Jeanette (10/5): - Overall we liked the location and the room and amenities for the price they charged. We had a wonderful ocean view. Gave us advice on a drop off laundry. Breakfast every AM We would go back
- Yina (10/5): - Me gustó mucho el restaurante. El hotel es muy familiar, muy apropiado para familia con niños y adolescentes.
- james (10/5): amazing family trip - great food
wonderful property right on the beach
plenty of things to do
shopping,dining,surfing
- james (10/5): family trip 2022 - great area for the family
hotel is a little dated but there are no problems
staff is wonderful, pools are nice, hotel is right on the beach
what out for the ripe tides
good breakfast
- Marie-Christine (8/5): - Convenient, and quiet. Dini g good be a bit more appetizing.
- NIGEL (6/5): - The staff was very friendly. The rooms/bathroom need upgrading. The grounds are very nice and the hotel is located in a perfect location. It’s on the beach and in walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, etc. Food and coffee was never served hot. The beach is littered with driftwood, etc. and needs to be better maintained.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Excellent staff.
- 856reedr (8/5): Security told us to stay out! - My family stayed next door in a condo. We walked over to this fun cabana bar everyday. The food was good and the drinks were tropical. We loved the ambience and the restaurant staff. However security stopped us on our way to the restaurant one afternoon, because we had been using their path between hotels. Guard told us to stay out! This was a shame. You may want to discuss this with your security because you lost business.
- Doris (10/5): - Rooms are a bit outdated now but overall we had a wonderful time. My husband and I used to take
Our kids here 2705 yrs ago during school vacations and summer and rented out the largest cabin that slept 8 with 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms..was the perfect size for our large family.
- Kimberley (10/5): If in Jaco, great place to stay - Great location. Away from the noisy street. Nice selection of food at the onsite restaurant. A.C.worked well and ocean view well worth it.
- Mercedes (8/5): - Perfect location, near the main street, full of shops and dining options. We recommend a yummy French coffee/bakery called Manon. Super friendly and real French treats.
- Patrick (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at Tangeri Hotel in Hakko, Costa Rica my room was very nice and kept clean. The grounds were beautiful and just a few steps away from the pounding ocean. The staff at reception and at the restaurant were exceptional, and the food at the restaurant was very good
- Mayda (8/5): - Staff was awesome, restaurant service and food good, room clean and spacious, pool area great, beach area not pretty full of debris no clear way to get to beach due to a canal. Surrounding town dirty with garbage and unpleasant smells.
- Martin (10/5): - The grounds of the property were very nice, 3 different pools, nice restaurant overlooking the beach, super friendly and attentive staff, good location due to being right on the ocean and a 2 minute walk you can be in the downtown Jaco. I did notice the waves in Jaco seemed much bigger than Manual Antonio area, and the ocean/beach had a lot of driftwood/debri getting washed up. Overall though we loved staying here, rooms were a little outdated but very clean and a great value..
- Stephen (4/5): - Rated as 4.3 on Expedia, that’s very generous since the property is “tired” and needs a refresh.
- Ariel (8/5): - My husband and I chose this Hotel because it was right on the beach and in a good location, relative to the rest of Jaco beach. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast each morning, with the friendly and helpful hotel staff always willing to answer our questions. The food and drinks were good, all the facilities were kept very clean, and there were 3 pools so you never felt like you were crowded when swimming.
- April (10/5): - Peaceful and quaint. Right on the beach. Beautiful ocean views. Front desk staff was amazing and accommodating especially Charlyn. Food at the restaurant was delicious.
- Cristina (10/5): - Staff is incredibly welcoming and willing to give me TONS of information about the area. Place is BEATIFUL, right on the beach ad with a great restaurant.
- Donna (8/5): - Great spot, has everything, very central, cleaned daily, staff is friendly, food is good.
- Dean (10/5): - Good quality for your money, friendly staff, centrally located
- Rick (10/5): - The staff was wonderful and the food was great. The ocean view from our balcony was post card perfect.
- carol (8/5): - Beautiful pool
- Xingtao (8/5): - Good location, walk to the beach. The villa rooms and furnishings are quite outdated
- TERRY (10/5): - We enjoy the total experience
- Leah (8/5): Simple beachfront hotel with nice pools for kids - Easy checkin but our room wasn’t ready and parking was all full so we had to go fill and hour elsewhere. When we returned, we didn’t get any detailed instructions about the resort like where breakfast was served in the morning so had to ask later. Room wasn’t very clean, especially in the bathroom and the fixtures and electric plugs are old and run down. Not a most awesome room for the price though the location is great! 3 Pools are all different depths to kids can stay safe. Warm and perfect at the end of our long driving day.
- Jacob (10/5): - Walk out the back gate onto Jaco beach, can't beat that for location. There are also a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. The Tangeri restaurant was excellent. The bar is open air right on the beach under a grass roof. The rooms are plain and old but very clean. The bed was comfortable and the AC is excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
- Ismael (10/5): - Excellent Hotel, Excellent Location, Excellent Friendly Staff!
- Carly (10/5): - Lovely hotel! We loved the local feel of this property. It's quite basic but very clean and well kept. The ocean view from the rooms is unmatched. Also, right in the center of town so easy to walk to things, yet very peaceful and quiet. The beach bar is also just great!
- Vijay (10/5): - Nice people. Good restaurant. Decent price. Not white sand beach. Alda is very helpful in front desk.
- Alan (10/5): - Great beach view. Had decent couples massage for $80. Good dinner at the beach restaurant watching the sunset. Bed is a bit hard, but really nice value overall.
- 255garyc (8/5): Beachfront hotel in Jaco - I had a great stay - I'm writing this while enjoying a cold beer at the hotel's tiki bar an hour before I have to (sadly) go to the bus station and head back to San Jose. It's mid-July 2021. I have been at the Hotel Tangeri for a couple of nights. I stayed in a vila - nicely equipped with a full kitchen and a bedroom with two queen beds. The hotel staff is very friendly and accomodating. I had a problem with the AC on the first night, and told the office about it when I walked by on my way to breakfast (which is included and really good). It was fixed by the time I finished breakfast.
It's right on the water with a great view of the beach. The pool area and tiki bar are great - if you're traveling with kids, they'll love the beach and pool areas. The property is well-maintained, and my favorite part are the iguanas, which are everywhere when the sun is shining - seriously, if you have a fear of lizards, you won't like this place, but they are fascinating. I had a salad for lunch yesterday and there was one begging just like a dog until the waiter shooed it away (which was unfortunate, because I was enjoying it).
Jaco is nice - plenty of options for eating, drinking, and shopping within a few minute's walk from the hotel. The locals are really friendly, the food is great, the scenery is phenomenal, but the beach is kind of meh - I understand that there are many better beaches in Costa Rica, but this one is popular due to its proximity to San Jose. But I came here to eat Costa Rican cuisine, drink beer, read a book, and enjoy the Costa Rican sunset, so mission accomplished.
There are other hotels in Jaco that are closer to the night life and activity (although like I said, that's all just a few minute's walk away), but if you're traveling with family, or if your goal is to relax, this is the place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Gorgeous location! Beautiful beach view from our balcony. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. The included breakfast was delicious!
- jtserio1971 (6/5): Great property. So so rooms. - I want to give this hotel a better review, but I just can't. If I was reviewing everything except the room (property, restaurant, pool, service) it was excellent. 3 Large clean pools and direct access to the beach, beachfront dining with good food. The rooms, however, were average to below average. The bathroom was terrible in room 103. The shower was more like a drizzle and there was no hot water in the sink. The rest of the room was average. However we did have a great ocean view. I think with a little work this could be a great property, but until then it's average.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Jaco beaches are super. View from our patio superb.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent service all around including the ranchito restaurant, if anything they could upgrade the bathrooms on the rooms suites.
- Karla (10/5): Great place! - Everything was great! Beach front, 3 pools, pool table, ping pong, breakfast was delicious and the price was fair. Close from everything.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The woman at the front desk is anything but friendly. We had a car park right outside our room blasting music at 4am. No guard on site, nobody working the front desk till 8am. I had to track down the local police to get them to do something. Front desk was rude insisting that is was not the hotels problem.
From the rooms, they are comfortable but inconsistent water pressure made showers and toilet an issue, found myself manually adding ester to the toilet tank twice in three day stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Central location in Jaco, lovely pool & helpful staff. Iguanas, birds, and other wildlife all over the property!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quiet resort with very clean rooms, the breakfast was big and delicious!
- R4823HFjasonc (10/5): Best pizza in town - We went to Tangeri for lunch. We ordered a shrimp ceviche and a pizza. I can honestly say that this is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The crust is thing and amazing. The ingredients are fresh and with quality. Do yourself a favor and go try it.
- K5094QCmauriciom (10/5): Great service and location - 2nd time here and we are still pleased with the service, the view and the rooms
The customer service was great, including great service at the restaurant (especially Don Roberto). We recommend the seafood pizza, best we have ever had.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good location but need to improve in some aspects like cleaning and maintenance
- Verified traveler (6/5): - 5 star location, good service and restaurant but Villa 1A was 2 star. It needs complete remodeling.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The AC never worked. The hairdryer neves worked. We asked for response but the first nigth we had lo sleep with a fan and was not a pleasent night.
- RichardtheTeacher (6/5): Just adequate - This is a bare bone beachside hotel, which is fine if you're not expecting much more. The reception is outside and disinterested in helping you. The rooms have minimum (two towels, no bath soap, ordinary bedding). It's close to a rocky beach with a rough surf. If you're athletic it can be fun to dive in the regular crashing waves, but it could get risky at times. The breakfast was nice. The community is full of Americans and Canadians, with streets lined with gift stores, fast food style restaurants, and massage parlors
We are staying here on our last day in Costa Rica to get a beach experience not far from San Jose and airport. It does the job despite its shortcomings.
- PamelaFriesen (10/5): Loved this hotel - Close to the beach, friendly staff and great food. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was great. Only drawback was the noise from people camping on the beach nearby blasting their music until late at night, but this is not in control of the hotel in any way. We loved our balcony with the beach views, the sunsets, and the chance to walk on the beach. Unpretentious lovely hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The place was clean with easy access to the beach, the food was really good
- Pamela (10/5): Really nice place - Had an amazing stay. The room was next to the beach, lots of seating outside. Rained and we sat and ate in the restaurant. Great setting
- mstolowitz (8/5): FAMILY TRIP TO JACO - I have been to CR 7 times before deciding to try JACO with my family for the 1st time. it was a last minute get away from spring break We were very happy with Tangeri. the location is great staff very friendly and helpful massages are cheap clean and right on beach. Breakfast was perfect. Bar , sunset and restaurant was great many local Tico's ate and had drinks there as well as it is a wonderful place for the sunset. Location, Location was just what you want in Jaco away from thew main strip but perfectly close enough top walk there anytime.
Restaurants were plentiful and awesome excursions are adventurous and surfing is some of the best in CR . The beaches around Jaco are also great to visit.
Thanks Tangeri,
- CarlosV234 (8/5): A very nice stay! - A holiday getaway coming at last minute. Very good attention all around. If anything perhaps the attention around the pools is a bit loose, understaffed? Any way both attention and service time are in line with our expectations.
Meals are rather good. We liked breakfast and snacks.
Swimming pools, we liked the bigger one. It's not a huge place, neither are the pools but they're okay. Not too deep either. With the family place orientation, don't expect crazy.
Nice beach as you could expect in Jacó, right next to the restaurant, just walk on by!
Need anything? There's a bunch of stores, restaurants, liquor stores and bars within walking distance... So: convenient location, good attention, good food and rooms in line with price range. I would think hard about going elsewhere next time we go to Jacó.
Oh iguanas, there's a bunch of them around, just don't feed them, their doctor forbid 🍕 and 🍺!😉
- 847jasminr (10/5): Costa Rica trip - I was there for two days with tour company enjoyed a lot! Location perfect walk to beach and to center of city
Rooms are very good with choice of view of ocean or pool or courtyard if I go back I will stay on second floor facing beach! Stuff very friendly. the manager Laura were great very details oriented, made sure all our needs were met! I remember I was admiring the sunset on beach very close to Resturant ( which u get one of best sunset from restaurant ) and taking the pictures she saw me she left the restaurant and walked to me and offer to take my picture with sunset on background!! She was very kind she even saw all of us by our bus when we were leaving to say goodbye!!
The hotel also has two or three bedroom apartments / condos which makes great to rent when u r with family or big group! Very economic too!
I highly recommend this place big shout out to all stuff and specially the manager Laura great leadership.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We chose this property because of its location right on the beach as well as immediate access to the downtown area while still being secluded. We absolutely loved the location, the service, people, the food, the surroundings, and the amenities. I can’t imagine improving on this especially for the price..
- eddieallover (10/5): Lovely resort - We rented a private house in this hotel where we had 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a full size kitchen. we were right by the beach and had an amazing time. The place is kept very clean, has a pool for kids, gym for adults and so many shops and restaurants in walking distance.
- Jay (10/5): - Great property for families and those that want a peaceful night. We were told we could not have any friends over who were in town as well which we thought was ridiculoius. We had two rooms with beautiful balconies overlooking the ocean and wanted freinds over to have wine outside and told we could not.
Eventually, Sergio (owner?) made it happen but took going through many people to get this done. I understand they don't want parties but that's all that should needed to be said and shut down anyone who disobeys that. The property is too nice not to want to show off to friends, guest and have a peaceful glass of wine overlooking the ocean.
The grounds are great. The staff is great
- Ana (8/5): Nice hotel - Hotel was nice, in the middle of town, so you are able to walk around, and also next to the beach. Good breakfast.
- Michael (10/5): 3 days at Tangeri - Restaruant has excellent menu and chef. Breakfest is verygood.Centrally located in Jaco. Room was good. Air conditioner quiet and cold. Bed could have had extra pillow. Room needs a light over bed ,convenient for reading. Laundry was in expensive. great value
- NcJames (10/5): Jaco hotel - Jaco hotel was excellent. Small not usual american hotel. Peaceful, right on beach, You'll love it.
walk to town two minutes, safe, several restrauants and three clean warm pools.
People very friendly, prices reasonable.
- Darielcosta (8/5): Nice stay! - Our experience was very nice. Room was clean, good air conditioning. Walking distance to the beach. Cocktails at the Rancho were good and tasty. Breakfast was included and had several options. Many chairs in the swimming pools. Ping pong, pool to play. We liked it a lot!
- Anthony (10/5): Relaxation... - A great place to stay. Will be staying there again on the next visit to Jaco.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hidden Gem - The entrance is very small. The front sign was not lit and we walked by it. A little noisy at night but not bad.
Everything else about the hotel is great. The beach is on the secluded side of a small ricer. Staff and restaurant personnel are friendly.
- 61janett (10/5): Fantastic place to spend a week!!!! - It’s located close to everything, beach, shopping, pharmacy, grocery store etc etc!!! The staff is awesome, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the food in great and reasonably oriced. I will stay there again and would recommend it to everyone!!!!
- lyn (10/5): - Very nice hotel, next to the beach and nice pools.
- USExpatinfrance (8/5): Great time in Jaco at the Tangeri Hotel - This is a great hotel for the price. Right on the beach, friendly staff, overall great place. If I was going to Jaco again I'd definitely book here again.
My only quibble with this hotel, and it is more and more characteristic of hotels of this calibur is the stupid wrist bands they make you wear. I see these as easier for the hotel to identify their guests and thus they say it's safer for their guests. I believe that our safety as your guest is on you, the hotel. We should not be forced to modify our attire because it's easier on you. Furthermore, I'm sure there are other types of wrist bands you could make available that can be removed at night. I mean, come on, try sleeping with a plastic thing on your wrist capable of slicing open an apple. They are not comfortable.
- Cynthia (8/5): Great service and location - The hotel staff is very helpful and welcoming. They responded to all our requests.
The room it's self is decent but nothing great, seems like they are older rooms. Also there is no blow dryer included which was a pain.
- MAKI (8/5): Hotel near the beach - Very nice hotel, beach front Jaco and everything is very close.
- Yasmin (8/5): Nice hotel, front beach - A very good vacation place, near everything in Jaco, very clean and the staff is very nice.
- Richard (4/5): Not the best in town - Highly overrated hotel. They have an excellent restaurant that I have enjoyed many times. The hotel is in desperate need of modernization. From the warning signs about taking their soap to picking up your tv remote in the main office. There are other much nicer properties priced the same
