- Aldo Antonio (4/5): Todo cerca y a la mano, solo si lleva efectivo para pagar y evita tu cargo extra en pago con tarjeta - Desayuno es variado y suficiente para empezar tu dia es buffet, fruta guisados omelets y mas si merece la pena lo compres con tu reserva La ubicacion es buena en pleno centro de la ciudad, pero como en la mayoria de todas las ciudades del mundo o la gran mayoria, en el centro encontras a los lados todos los olores, areas descuidadas y sucias. Pero queda muy bien por que te puedes mover a todos lados. El personal en recepcion bellboy muy amables cuando llegas. Con la sorpresa de que si tu tarjeta es internacional como es mi caso, hay un cargo extra a tu reserva situacion que no dice por ningun lado la reserva solo menciona los impuestos normales. Asi que ya sabes o llevas efectivo para pagar la tarifa que acordaron aqui en booking y pagas con tarjeta como la mayoria lo hacemos y es la tarifa acordada mas un porcentaje extra por tu tarjeta adicional, que el hotel hara el gasto deducible pero lo pagas el extra tu. Timado. La habitacion es grande y amplia, pero su papel tapiz se ve que tiene años pero años que lo pusieron esta salpicado de no se que se le escurre la mugre en varias zonas, a diferencia de las fotos que se ven impecables, asi que tantita manera de ser francos con las cosas por favor.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, clearly explaining everything about the stay and even recommending local attractions. A special mention to Daisy, who proactively reached out two weeks before my arrival to ensure everything was arranged smoothly—such a thoughtful touch. - Elsie (10/5): Great location and services with the BEST staff! - This boutique hotel has everything that one can ask for in a boutique hotel, including central old quarter location, spacious lobby area, comfortable and well-decorated rooms, buffet breakfast included, and full services, including on-site spa services, driver service and tour bookings. We were there for 5 days and breakfast buffet items did vary from day to day. The best thing for us was the cook-to-order beef or chicken pho, and egg/omelette items - we enjoyed these every morning. While the spa area is not fancy, it is so convenient to have spa services on-site, and they have been great to accommodate bookings even at short notice. There is discount for hotel guests, and further discount if you book a tour through them. Prices for massages become very reasonable with the discount and so convenient to not need to step out of the hotel to get massages. With all that, the most amazing thing at this location is undoubtedly the staff - there is such a consistent 5-star service mindset and attitude from everyone at the front desk and door. All the front desk staff are so friendly and helpful with good command of English, including Lucas, Tracy, Claire and Vincent. Danny at the door was also thoughtful and kind. Special mention definitely needs to go to Eddie! We won’t go into big details, but we had important personal affairs outside of Hanoi with some non-English speaking people. We explained about the need during pre-booking and became distressed when the driver spoke next to no English. When I explained our situation to Eddie who was about to wrap up his hotel shift, he went completely above and beyond to help us once he knew how important it was for us. We were speechless that he offered such massive help to us personally at short notice. His personal time, assistance and kindness allowed us to manage the special day smoothly - which was the major reason of our Hanoi trip. For awareness, there are 3 Emerald Water hotels in town, so remember to provide full hotel name and address to tour guides etc to minimize potential confusion.

- Masako (7/5): 送迎を頼むときは、人数とスーツケースの数を伝えましょう。 - 場所はホアンキエム湖の近くで大変便利だった。 子どもの体調が悪く、朝のおかゆを買いに行く際には、ドアボーイが店まで案内してくれ、注文を手伝ってくれた。 第一印象が送迎で最悪だったが、スタッフ一人一人はとても感じがいい。 最後にチェックアウト後、奥のソファーで休ませてもらった。スパのシャワーも使って構わないと声をかけてもらった。 帰国後の謝罪と、対応策を検討されたことは評価する。 送迎をホテルにお願いしていたが…。 ・なかなかドライバーと会えず1時間待った。また、ホテルの書いた看板を持っているとのことだったが、私のフルネームの名前を手書きで書いただけの紙を持っていた。 ・6人グループだったので事前に「７seater 20ドル」でお願いしていたのに、スーツケースが乗らないからと、また15分待たされて、もう一台を用意してもらいホテルへ。 ・ホテルに着くと、「あなたたちは荷物が多かったから、用意した車では十分ではなかった。もう一台分追加で16ドルを」と言われ、事前の話と違うので訴えたが、らちが明かず、子どもも疲れていたのであきらめて支払ったが、帰国後カスタマーケアマネージャーから丁寧な謝罪と、追加した１６ドルと帰りの400000ドンの返還を提案されたので評価を５から７へ上げたが、到着時に提案されていれば、もっとよかった。 ・ドライバーは長く待たされて、イライラしていたようで、ハノイの旧市街までの運転が荒く、スピードを出しているのに、携帯で電話したり、ＳＮＳでやり取りをしたりしていて、生きた心地がしなかった。（このドライバーは業務停止ののち、厳重指導されたとのこと） 建物は全体的に古い感じ。 朝ごはんはバイキングの他に、バーカウンターにフォーや卵料理などのメニューが置いてあるのだが、気づかない人が多かったので、各席にメニューを置くと、みなさんが理解できていいと思われる。 また、朝食で机の上にあるナフキンに包まれたカラトリーが前の客が利用したそのままになっていた。声をかけても、ナフキンはそのままでカラトリーだけ渡された。

Localisation parfaite dans le centre de Hanoï à deux pas du lac mais à l'écart du bruit et de l'agitation. Nous étions dans des chambres communicantes et une des deux chambres était aveugle. J'aurais aimé le savoir lors de la réservation.

- HSINKAI (10/5): - Although the hotel is located next to a main road, the soundproofing is excellent. The windows are double-glazed, so there is no traffic noise at night. The location is very good, with Hoan Kiem Lake just a short walk away. We stayed in a family room, which was very new, spacious, clean. The beds were also very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of choices, including fresh fruits and vegetables. The bellboy was very enthusiastic, efficient, and always greeted guests with a big smile. The only drawback was the service from one daytime front desk staff member. She was quite talkative but often went off topic, and unfortunately was unable to provide clear or useful assistance. Some of the information given was inaccurate, which affected the overall service experience.
- Gina (9/5): Great place to stay in Hanoi. - We stayed a total of four nights. We were there for two, went to Ninh Binh, and returned for two more nights. I loved the hotel’s location, the size of our room, the hot water, the breakfast, the bed and THE STAFF! I want to specifically mention Tracy and Claire. Both were very helpful, friendly and professional. Tracy even realized it was my husband’s birthday when we were leaving for Ninh Binh. She quickly arranged some cake and candles and surprised my husband in the lobby before we left. I know not all rooms can have a great view and our room looked into blank walls. With that said, we opted to keep the room as it was very large - so there was a trade off.

We were in Hanoi for 6 days and decided last minute that we wanted to do two day trips; one to Ha Long Bay and the other to Ninh Binh. Daisy and Kim were really helpful and responsive with booking day trips for both destinations and Daisy was also able to help us pick the best weather days and different day trip itineraries for what was best for the current season and our interests, thank you Daisy and Kim! The hotel breakfast every morning was really delicious as well!

- SSSteph (10/5): Ideal location and excellent experience - This hotel was a very welcome change and I was extremely happy I moved here. I came to this property after leaving another hotel that was unbearably noisy inside the building. This hotel was quiet, comfortable, and immediately felt more relaxing. The location is excellent. It sits right on the border of the Old Town and the French Quarter, which makes it easy to get almost anywhere on foot. Hoan Kiem Lake is about one block away, and there are plenty of cafés, pharmacies, and convenience stores nearby. It felt much less congested and far easier to walk around in than other parts of the Old Town. The room was very clean and well maintained. The shower had abundant hot water with good water pressure, which made a big difference after long days out. Sound insulation was good, and I slept well. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It was well executed, fresh, and abundant, with plenty of choices and good replenishment. Overall, this hotel offered comfort, calm, and convenience in a great location. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants easy access to the city without the constant noise and congestion.

Kim, Tracy, and Lucus are the friendliest and helpful receptionists I had ever experienced. especially Tracy, she took us to a pharmacy and explained to the pharmacist our symptoms to get medicine to cure our sickness. Her kindness and service are beyond words. We would definitely stay at Emeral Waters Hotel & Spa in the future and recommend it to friends and family.

Hospitality is a normal thing in this country but it's way above normal to see and enjoy the performance of the people here. Good performance in English too, an excellent introduction, extra free services. Excellent positioning of the hotel, on the edge of the old quarter ensures that if you have a room with a window, you won't have the unbearable noise at night and you have quick access to absolutely everything you might be interested in.

Special shout out to Lee who recommended us native food we should try. And to the lady, we forgot her name who greeted us and talk to us like we are closed friends. We feel so at home. Also special mention to the trainee guy who was also very accommodating. He was very assuring when we asked to check out late and comforted me when I told him about the accident using the flat iron.
