- SAMUEL (2/5): - no hot water/ you have to wait. its on a top of a hill, very, very steep hill, I don't mind that at all. what I didn't like was that when we arrived the two woman at the desk started commenting on our looks. thinking we were foreigners. I am, but my fiancé is Greek and she heard everything. very unprofessional. the view is gorgeous from the pool area.

Die etwas abgelegenen Lage muss einem bewusst sein und kann mit Mietwagen oder Motorroller überwunden werden. Wir haben genau das genossen! Hilfe und Fürsorge bekamen wir durch die nette Unterkunftsmanagerin Nadia, einfach super sympathisch.

It was on the other side of the island so plan accordingly when needing or wanting to go to downtown/marina or airport. But the staff helped us coordinate drivers and made it easy!

- Isabelle (2/5): - Ce n'est pas du tout un 4 * mais un 2 *. La localisation de l'hôtel est horrible, aucun service, on s'y sent très isolé. L'hôtel n'offre aucune restauration, la douche est en piètre condition et les serviettes sont déchirées. Même si on est en bonne forme physique, les pentes de 40° entourants l'hôtel sont difficiles avec une chaleur extrême. Le déjeuner est horrible ainsi que le Wi-Fi. De plus, personne ne parle français et presque pas anglais donc impossible de communiquer. La plage est belle mais peu d'espace pour s'étendre sur le sable à moins de payer 70 euros pour 2 chaises. Vous devez attendre minimum 30 minutes pour un taxi et le service d'autobus est vraiment restreint. Peu emballé par Mykonos en général.

Le lieu est magique avec une vue prenante sur toute la vallée ainsi que sur la plage d’Élia. Nous avons pris la chambre lune de miel avec la vue sur la mer , une vue incroyable … Ne ne pouvons faire de commentaire négatif car tout était parfait sans parler du service qui vous ai proposé (location de scooter/voiture à domicile , livraison de repas via les restaurants …). Nous remercions profondément Nadia qui a toujours était présent et au petit soin pour nous et ce dans la plus grande discrétion. Bref nous recommandons à quiconque de passer quelques jours dans cet hôtel , des plus tranquilles et reposants. Un seul mot MERCI ! Damien et Julie
- Nicolas (2/5): A horrendous experience - avoid ! - We had an extremely disappointing stay at Cova Suites and would not recommend staying there. The accommodation itself is nice but way overpriced. Also, it was not quite clean when we checked in (there were suspicious crumbs on the sofa and an empty condom pack was lying on the balcony. Yikes!). The surroundings are beautiful but be prepared for pounding electronic music day and night (the walls were literally vibrating). The service was a weird mix of (1) ignoring us when we had a problem that needed to be fixed (broken air conditioning - an issue we rose several times but which was addressed with attrition tactics - promising that something would be done and then doing nothing about it) and (2) harassing us with phone calls, sometimes late at night. The à la carte breakfast was very disappointing and lacking in quality, not to mention that half of the items ordered were missing.

The room was well cared for and the supplies were what we we needed. I would return to the property in a heart beat if I could!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit schöner Terasse und tollem Blick! Sonne ab dem Vormittag. Nadja kümmert sich sehr um ihre Gäste und ist 24/7 für uns da gewesen. Alles ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, die Zimmer bzw. die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Frühstück wird vors Zimmer gebracht, da kein Frühstücksraum vorhanden ist. Man kann sich täglich sein Frühstück zusammenstellen, was dann entsprechend vorbereitet wird. Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Elia Beach in gehweite. WLAN im Zimmer super, auf der Terasse mal so mal so. Wir hatte das kleine DZ, was für uns völlig ausreichend war. Jedoch wären ein paar mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten/ ein richtiger Schrank schön, damit man bei 1 Woche seine Kleidung ordenltlich verstauen kann. Das war leider nicht der Fall. Leider wurden in der Nachsaison einige Gebäude gebaut, sodass der Geräuschpegel teilweise relativ hoch / störend war. Aber da kann das Hotel ja nichts für.

- Noheli (10/5): - Nadia, the receptionist went above and beyond during our stay. She arranged transportation to and back to port, she gave us her cel number to reach her during after hours to help with taxi arrangements when we would be out and about.She definitely made our stay a wonderful experience. The location is great, walking distance to the beach. 15-20 mins to the town. The property was clean, pool super cold which was a bummer so we did not use. Definitely a great place to stay. No restaurants walking distance, you will need a taxi. If you need a place walking distance to to shops, restaurants, then this is not the place for you but definitely a great place to stay, especially if are taking a girls trip. It just feels safe and comfortable.

It was my first time on holiday alone and they made me feel so welcome and helped me get around a lot. Breakfast is made to order every morning and there’s a beautiful view of Elia Beach from the pool area and the rooms. The town centre is 20mins drive. Would definitely recommend this hotel. There is no dining area, they bring th food to the room, we felt that we were looked into a room all the day. They claim it is a suite, however it is just a room with very little furniture, the facility is very poor. I will never stay there again. It certainly is not worth the money

- Nick (10/5): - Two friends of mine and I stayed at the Cova Suites during mid-June, had the experience of a lifetime. With us being under the age of 25 to rent a car the staff at the hotel accommodated to our needs and offered great solutions based on our circumstances. The suites themselves are beautiful, great view of Elia beach, just a 5 minute walk to one of the best beach in the whole island. Staff helped us find tours, food and gave us various recommendations based on our preferences. Had an exceptional experience overall.

- Jody (10/5): Lovely quiet place to stay--- if you're fit ! - We wanted to stay 1 night at Elia Beach in Mykonos. I don't have any complaints about the hotel. Zak, the deskman/clerk, was very helpful from the moment we arrived until we left the next evening. Leaving our bags in his care (after checkout) while we enjoyed the 2nd day at the beach was no problem. The pool is refreshing with great lounge chairs. The view of the beach below and the surrounding mountains is so pretty !!!! Dining options in the area are limited to hotels and one beach bar/restaurant. So bring snacks/drinks with you --- there are NO stores/shops to buy these things. It is a very steep hill down to the beach. We are active people, so it wasn't a problem. But if you are very old, frail, or disabled-- I don't know how you would get back and forth to the beach...

- Melih (10/5): Nice Place To Stay in Elia Beach Mykonos - We were greeted professionally and kindly. The staff is very helpful and the room was clean. Internet services could be better extended around the property. Air Conditioning was no problem in the hot summer days. The hotel is close to Elia Beach (not entirely walking distance because of the hills). Best to use your rental car. The view is excellent including the evening view from the top of the mountain top.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect!! - Beautiful hotel - Elia Beach is approximately 18 minutes from Old Town Mykonos it was very peaceful and the views of the cove were breathtaking from our patio. The staff was amazing; hospitable and available to help with our every need -even arranged for a rental car pickup and drop off from the hotel. A rental vehicle of some type is needed for this hotel as nothing is conveniently located within walking distance, not restaurants, shops, anything.

Beware - the hotel is up the hill, so keep that in mind if you're taking the bus to Elia. The hotel does offer a transfer service, at a cost, and taking advantage of that would be my recommendation.

- Matt (6/5): Good but not what was expected - The welcome was great and the three members of staff worked hard to ensure we were well looked after and we lucky to have been put in the largest suite. But this is not a hotel and it is essentially a B&B arrangement of six suites in a converted house. It lacks therefore the amenities you would expect at this price point, e.g. bar, restaurant or proper room service. In itself it is stylishly appointed but it is priced and pitched in a higher place than is borne out by the reality. The pool area looks great, but it is not really a place to hang out as there are no refreshments on hand and if we had kids with us we'd be concerned about the sheer drop from the pool area to the hill side beyond, which has no barrier. The decor was good and newly developed, but to be told on arrival to switch the water heating on 20 minutes before you want a shower is simply not to standard. I appreciate that the property is looking to be energy efficient but again at this price point you expect more. It is actually a very good venue for what it is, but it is simply over priced and therefore was disappointing to the point of feeling mis-sold.
- Michael (10/5): Inaugural Guest at Cova Mykonos - I was fortunate to be the very first guest at this brand new boutique hotel & took a gamble to try out this out in Mykonos near Elia beach and a stones throw from the larger Myconian Hotel complex. What a fantastic experience...epic views, beautiful modern rooms, fantastic custom prepared breakfast by the pool or on your balcony. George the manager was amazing, super helpful and welcoming with a bottle of wine to toast with friends. Highly recommended, great location, great people, amazing views & if you need local restaurants (since there isn't one on site), then its a short walk to the beach or Myconian restaurants. I ended up staying for 6 days! I will definitely be back!
