Marilyn (8/5): overall, lovely hotel. Maybe worth spending extra for a view of the river. - Great location and very attentive staff! Clean! The room was a little stuffy. I thought we were going to get a city view, but the window opened to basically a wall and no screen, so if we open the window for fresh air, bugs would come in and I was worried about possible cats too.

The location is fantastic, situated right by the Douro River, making it very convenient, clean, and safe. The breakfast was delicious, and the views of the river along with the Dom Luís I Bridge are simply beautiful. A special shout-out goes to the staff for their outstanding service. Initially, I made a mistake and booked the wrong dates, but when I contacted the hotel, they responded promptly and resolved the issue for me perfectly. I highly appreciate their professionalism. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this place!"

Yael (9/5): Very nice room and great view, but with a price - We had a really nice and specious room facing the Douro river. Great view. The rooftop is nice. Breakfast was good too. They have a very small parking, usualyy whoever comes first gets a place, but if you book ahead (nonrefundable) they agree to save a place for you. The nice view and proximity to Rebeira and Gaia has its price - it's not close to the city center, and going up from the river to the city level is either by many stairs or by a funicular that costs 4 euros per person and has a long line... As for the room itself - it would be lovely to have 2 chairs in the balcony.

A great view from our room and the rooftop deck was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful-don’t miss it. Be sure to checkout a delightful restaurant just a walk away, The Bridge Restaurant. Amazing! 🤩 The motorcycle noise from the street below was annoying, but once it was bedtime, there were no more motorcycles or loud trucks.

Lee (9/5): We love Porto - The location on the river is very beautiful. We were given a room with a river view, even though they couldn't guarantee it unless we upgraded. The garage is not learly marked and the hotel could have given us better instructions on how to find it and saved us a lot of grief. But it had a charger for our electric car which was a great plus. No water bottles in the room. We asked and they said that that was their policy because the tap water in Porto is drinkable. We still would have appreciated a couple of bottles of water, as virtually every other hotel in Europe provides.

Carmine (8/5): It was a pleasant and enjoyable stay. - Breakfast was excellent. All the items in the mini fridge other than any alcohol should be included in the room cost and there should be more water included. We witnessed people being upset about the charges which they had to pay at checkout.

Catherine (10/5): Amazing hotel, great location! - Amazing property with great views of the River, the staff at this hotel were amazing! We really loved our visit to Porto and stay at this hotel. Parking is a bit of a challenge but the front desk staff was able to assist us and helped us navigate parking.

Местоположение хорошее , 200 метров от прогулочной зоны к обеим сторонам реки. Лучше брать Убер для поездок днём порядка 7 евро. Из аэропорта 25 минут . При вьезде налили портвейна . Попросил обновить бутылку воды каждый день и пошли навстречу . Написано было double room но это была одна большая комната . Была кухня но без столовых приборов . Не в гостинице - Еда в некоторых ресторанах так себе

Claire (10/5): Stay was amazing. Will go back - Staff delightful. Hotel is right on the water. Perfect if you want sunsets and boat activities Fabulous breakfast with lots of different choices. Easy cheap taxi ride to city center or walk uphill. Only takes 20-25 min. Really nothing!

Geraldine (9/5): Great location. Breakfast definitely worth it - It was a perfect location for us. Close to major activity hubs, but very quiet, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. We arrived late to check-in - our train travel took longer than expected. There was no access at hotel to any food later in the day.
Lucía (6/5): Ubicación espectacular, pero con matices. - La ubicación es una de las mejores de la ciudad. Tiene unas vistas expectaculares , el desayuno también. Por el precio, el parking para mi opinión debería de ir incluído en la habitación. En las habitaciones hai algunos desperctos que se pueden arreglar. (Paredes manchadas, suelos en mal estado) La atención en la terraza de arriba debería mejorar.

G6946TDkeithb (2/5): Great hotel but the theft from the room spoiled our break - We stayed at the Eurostars Porto Douro from 26th to 29th April . It is a great location but our stay was completely spoiled by the theft of 150 euros from our room on the Tuesday . The hotel manager reported back that the two persons who had entered our room were long standing staff members and that I should have used the safe ! Having been summarily dismissed I would definitely not recommend this hotel until they can assure you that they have dealt with their security issue .

HilCaban (4/5): NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL - Stayed for 5 nights. The only great things about this hotel is the view of the river and parking is available for a fee. It’s a short walk to main bridge where touristic area begins. It’s an old hotel, no restaurant (only breakfast) rooftop area with no service, had ants and a roach in our room. No coffee in the rooms, no ironing board or iron in room, has to be requested. One complimentary bottle of water for all 5 days. Better options available. Would not stay here again.

Karen (10/5): Eurostar is a great hotel you will love it! - Awesome property close to everything and staff was helpful and excellent. Breakfast was so good and something for everyone. You will not be disappointed in this hotel. Rooms were lovely and bathroom was bigger than most. Beds and linens were so comfortable. You are looking out on the Duoro River. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent and very clean! Everything was perfect!

Karen (10/5): Excellent hotel and location. - All the staff were welcoming, smart, professional yet friendly. The hotel was spotless, very well maintained and in a great position. Although directly on a busy road, the rooms are very well soundproofed, and our superior room on the front with a small balcony had a wonderful view. The hotel is a flat 10min walk to the Luis I bridge by the river. We would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it. We made the mistake of following Google maps to walk to the hotel from Trindade metro. Don't do this, get a taxi or Uber it's only around £5.
Brigitte (7/5): agréable et hotel tres bien placé - chambre agréable gentillesse du personnel situation exceptionnelle j’avais demandé une chambre avec balcon il y avait bien un balcon mais inaccessible ! il n’y avait pas de porte fenêtre mais une fenêtre contrairement à ce que la réception m’avait annoncée et le personnel est insuffisant au bar ! 1 seule personne pour le week-end !

Ana (8/5): Perfeita . - Gostei mais do quadro , a vista era incrível, ficamos no quarto com vista rio e com sofá cama. Tinha onde cozinhar , micro ondas. Não tava muito bem limpo , notava se que não tinham limpado tudo , lixo por tirar , cabelo na parede do box da casa de banho.
