- Laszlo (10/5): - I recently stayed at this Motel 6 and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. It wasn’t crowded at all, which made for a stress-free stopover. There’s not much to do in the immediate area, so it’s not really a vacation destination—but if you’re on the road and just need a good, comfortable place to rest for the night, this location is perfect. I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through who needs a simple, clean, and reliable place to stay.
- Terry (4/5): - It is obvious they are remodeling but that does not excuse the lack of cleaning a room properly. The bathtub had hair left in it and the floor was not clean. Also, the wall plate in the sink area was broken with the wiring exposed, not safe! The outside area had trash piled up with weeds in the gravel area.
- Suzanne (10/5): - My 2 favorites about this property were the location (right off the freeway), and the woman who checked me in. It was very late when I arrived, and her smile and hearty “Welcome!, made me feel as if she had been waiting up for me just as the Motel 6 jingle says, “We’ll leave the light on.” The interior area of the property, where the rooms & parking are, had great lighting. And considering there seems to be lots of guests based on the number of vehicles, it’s very quiet. Let’s talk about the bed… I rarely find a comfortable bed at hotels, but did at this property. Ahhhh…
- Todd (4/5): - I chose this location, because I wanted to bypass Amarillo. Yes I read previous reviews. Should have taken heed.😁Place is under remodel new Ownership/ Management. Sorry but the place was filthy. Floors unclean. Bathroom floor was sticky from urine. No! I left early, didn't try to sleep. Place had a strong "Bates Motel" vibe.

- William (10/5): - Great one-night stay. Excellent service at front desk. Room was simple and clean; all I needed for a quick overnight before back on the road. If you are looking for bells and whistles; this is not the place. If you need a beautiful building with beautiful architecture, this is not the place. BUT... If you want a safe, clean and efficient place for a very fair price...do not hesitate. I'm glad we made the decision to stay at thi sproperty/location.

- Tina (10/5): - Inexpensive , clean and efficient. It is an older property but it is well maintained. They air conditioner worked like a champion. Bed sheets were extra soft and mattress comfortable. Good place to stay.
- Steve (4/5): Hotel with no maintenance - The biggest problem is they need a maintenance person who can fix things. Bathtub had a hole that had been patched with the wrong material. They have a bird problem, swallows everywhere leaving large amount of bird crap everywhere. Bedding and towels were nice and clean. Front doors on all the rooms were faded, scratched and looked horrible. The saving grace for the owners is that this is the only hotel in town.

One bed had a huge spot on the sheet and they looked like they had been slept in. The fridge was dirty. We did one load of laundry that cost us$7.50. When I told the manager he said okay. Nothing was done. Worse place to stay.

The beds were not very comfortable. I would only stay here again if I absolutely had to.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Mini vacay to Palo Duro Canyon and Caprock Canyons - My husband and I stayed here after visiting Palo Duro Canyon and before visiting Caprock Canyon. It was clean but no frills. It was right off the highway so we could hear a little road noise when the AC was off. Refrigerator worked but was loud. Bed was comfy, bathroom was clean. Furniture was a bit dated but is what you would expect for a motel at this price. Breakfast was modest - cereal with whole milk, bagels, cream cheese, packaged muffins and packed cinnamon rolls. No fruit or juice. I liked the small table in the room which is where we ate breakfast. Overall, it was ok for one night but not fancy. Both canyons were amazing! Highly recommend visiting these state parks if you are in the area. Due to Covid you need to make advance reservations at the canyons even for a day pass.

- DCarla (8/5): Small Town Great - When I come to Tulia this is where I stay. Staff is friendly, they allow our fur babies and a great area to do their business and run. There wasn't cold water in the sink or shower so when we got ice for drinks it would melt fast. The ac worked very well but what they put on the vent blowed the cold air right on the bed so we froze and then got hot but I am sure alot of people prefer that. That wasn't an issue just personal preference. We will be back!

Looking back we should have stayed in one of the available rooms left in Lubbock, that was 250 a night as opposed to staying here.

We were worried about the room just from the looks of the place but it turned out to be an ok place to stay. The guy who checked us in was not very friendly but the bed was comfortable, the room was reasonably clean. No in room coffee. Marginal continental breakfast. Reasonably quiet.
