I was traveling cross country with my two cats and we all enjoyed the cozy room. The owner was very nice and’s accommodating. Soda machine was attached to the exterior wall of my cabin so there was some noise from that.

Advise bring small Mr coffee filters and bagged or canned coffee no k cups in the room. But lodge provided small packages of coffee and local grocery store is two block from Z-Bar cabins. I would stay there anytime...

Would choose over Hampton inn every time - We were not at all sure what we were getting into but told my son with the road to Sheridan closed it meant an unexpected adventure for us! But wow…this place exceeded all expectations for me and my teenage son! Literally nothing. Battery was dying in remote, my son went to office, they changed it immediately and texted later to make sure it worked. We travel a lot and never have that level of genuine service/care!

- 997murrays (10/5): Our annual stay at the Z Bar Cabins and Motel - We just completed our annual stay at the Z Bar Cabins and Motel. The Z Bar is our go to place when we make our annual trip to Buffalo each October. We appreciate the location and view of the Big Horns. We stay in the rooms with kitchenettes so we can cook at home if we want and go out if that is our choice. The rooms fit our needs to a tee. They are spacious and give our families the room we need. We appreciate the outside room for our vehicles and trailers. The staff of the Z Bar go out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. We have already booked our return trip for next year. The Z Bar is like our home away from home.

The location is at the foot of the majestic Big Horn mountains. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet. The "deluxe" cabins have a fully equipped kitchen, are roomy, and it is like being at home away from home. In addition, Z Bar is a great value. The next time I am traveling through the area I will definitely stay at Z Bar once again.

Nel nostro viaggio di tre settimane è stata la peggiore abitazione per rapporto qualità prezzo.

Owners were very helpful to make arrangements for our arrival after the front desk/check in was closed. Property was easy to access and the Fix coffee shop nearby makes a fantastic voodoo chai latte. We only stayed one night but if we were going to be in the area for longer, I would have happily stayed there for a few more. Totally recommend!!

It was hard to keep quiet for the other cabins in the early morning hours when our pet needed out. Other than that, we enjoyed the facility and our stay.
- Margaret (10/5): Fun Log Cabin - We always like to stay somewhere that is not your ordinary hotel room and the Z Bar Motel did not disappoint. The room was big enough that we could come back from a day of driving around and sit comfortably and relax. The bed was comfortable and we didn’t bump into each other while using the restroom or the sink. We were in the cabin right next to the road but due to it being log - it was not that noticeable. The little refrigerator really cranks on the cold. It was starting to get cool in Wyoming but we never needed to turn on the heater and boy is it dark at night - you can almost forget what time it is.

Think cozy and pine cabin interior. AC unit worked fine, though a bit noisy. We would stay here again. Deja Brew coffee just down the street.

Locally owned and operated, its owners restored it, updated it, and keep it spotless. The shower pressure is outstanding. The beds are comfortable. The a/c works. The cabins are quiet. The grounds are tidy. And Buffalo is a great little piece of heaven in the greatest western state.

The kitchenette is well-stocked with all the pots, dishes, utensils, etc. needed for cooking a meal, and there is a grocery store just a few blocks away. The location was quiet and the central lawn handy for walking the dog. Many guests took advantage of the benches / chairs outside each unit. Owners were friendly and helpful. We were very glad we chose to stay here.

- Richard (2/5): - The room assigned bore no resemblence to the advertized rooms. The sound from the in-wall air conditioner was like driving on a busy highway at 70 mph and opening the windows. Floor was sticky and the lounge chaie had a dirty throw cover over it. The cost was over that of other area rooms. While they checked off the list of ammenities, the quality of these was poor to marginal.
- Audrie (10/5): - Our "log cabin' room was great! Check in was easy. My favorite part was the grassy area in the middle of the place. There were picnic tables to hang out at or eat dinner, etc. it is dog friendly, too!

- 411kimz (10/5): Great place to stay! - The cabin was perfect! It was quiet and close to everything we needed. This was hands down, the cleanest place that I have ever stayed! The staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!!
