Guest Reviews
- Mobile48764228325 (10/5): Lee and the team completed the 5 star Sunday lunch - Sunday lunch was recommended and we weren’t disappointed.
We chose the “ share chicken for 2 “ roast. The presentation was impressive with the Yorkshires standing proud next to the sizzling chicken sitting in the iron skillet
Loved the meal and loved the bill even more.
The “share for 2 lamb “ is our next choice and feel the experience won’t disappoint.
- 849keithw (4/5): Overpriced for what it is - Overpriced for what it is. The room is dark and doesn't look clean. Two pillows for a double bed. No breakfast included. Getting in and out is like completing a maze - if there was a fire I'm not sure anyone would get out safely.
- lauracW3794WI (10/5): Best Sunday roast. - Went for a Sunday roast and the food was delicious! The best roast I’ve had in a long time. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Will be back again very soon.
- Gary (8/5): - Nice pub with OK rooms above. Ok for one night passing through.
- Michael (8/5): - I had a pleasant stay
- V S (2/5): Poor experience - My stay at this hotel was not a good experience. The room was not well maintained, cleanliness could have been much better, and the service was disappointing. Basic amenities were either missing or not functioning properly. Overall, it did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend this place for a comfortable stay.
- Martin (10/5): - Better than expected area for a final night dinner, before the quick drive to airport and flight home the next morning!
- Chris (10/5): - Dysfunctional shower. Water coming out of hose at the end of the unit meaning reduced water pressure from the shower head.
(Can attach a video if needed)
Apart from that, everything perfect.
Fay(e) was very welcoming and above and beyond helpful. If shower was working 10/10.
- Michael (8/5): Wilmslow King William - Great welcome and staff, pub is really handy downstairs with good beers and food. Room could do with attention in a couple of minor areas but otherwise it was great value.
- Judith (8/5): - Comfortable single room and would definitely use again
- 220leonardon (10/5): 5 Star experience in a mystical village hotel - One of the best accommodation experiences of my life. You may have heard of speak-easy bars, well... this is a speak-easy hotel.
You enter the property and there's a pub, a beautiful, typical, traditional English pub. You start looking for the check-in counter, while guests stare at you standing there with all your bags. Once you realize there's no check-in counter, you ask the beautiful blonde-haired girl working at the bar where you check in for the hotel, and everyone at the bar answers straight away: "Here at the bar”.
Everyone at the bar is super friendly and having fun, both employees and guests.
At the bar, you're served by Tabatha, Callum, and Brooke, the bartender, all three handsome and with excellent attitudes.
Then you check in with Brooke, and at the end of the process, she says, "Follow me." It leads you to a door that looks like the back exit of the bar. You go through it, and instead of going out to the patio, you turn right toward a door with a secret code, like "Get Smart TV Series," and you enter the hotel feeling Maxwell Smart on a top secret mission.
I'm from Mexico, and in Mexico we don't allow women to carry suitcases, but Brooke is special. With one simple pull, she lifted the suitcase onto her right shoulder and, as if she were carrying a pillow, climbed two flights of stairs.
The room was very cozy, without luxuries, but with everything you need for a good rest.
And the icing on the cake: the hotel offers free limousine service to take you to dinner at your favorite restaurant in a beautiful, immaculate black Bentley, with the best chauffeur you've ever came across, the good old Lee. He was kind and friendly. You'll find him at a table in the pub at 10 p.m., drinking Diet Coke with milk. And this is very sensitive information, please don't tell anyone: it is said that Lee is a top rank MI5 undercover field operative, so don’t abuse of his generosity, be respectful.
- F0zzie (10/5): Lovely spot in Wilmslow - Lovely little spot in Wilmslow.
Stayed the night before the 10K run and the Manager could not do enough. Very warm evening so he went out and bought fans. Nice garden to sit and enjoy the weather. Comfortable rooms.
- Emma (10/5): - Lovely stay at the King William. The staff were amazing, so friendly. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a hot evening so the Manager went out and bought all the rooms fans which was a lovely touch. Would stay here again.
- Sean (4/5): - Staff in the pub friendly and helpful. Shower not working in the room
- Rosanna (6/5): - Nice inn with a lovely pub and terrace downstairs, manager very friendly. Simple room, clean. Good for a pitstop however the single bed room was quite noisy: not accounting for the traffic from the road nearby, which ear plugs helped deal with, there was a recurring fan moto-like noise that was unfortunately more complicated to ignore.
- Claire (10/5): - Absolutely lovely place and excellent customer service. Really lovely touches like beautiful large soft towels and toiletries and super comfortable beds... Made to feel more than welcome and could get in the room early which helped, but if not would have held our luggage etc with no problems. Food and drinks also fabulous!! Stay it was well worth it!
- William (2/5): - Blinds in bedroom do not work and are broken
light in bathroom does not work
serious health and safety breaches that management don't want to fix as previous reviews have stated before these issues and not corrected.
trying to contact the hotel is near impossible.
took four weeks to speak to the manger
- Matthew (6/5): - The king William is a nice put and clean and friendly
But as a hotel it’s really not great. It’s old fashioned lack in equipment such as towels pillows ect and the bed was atrocious.
- Josephine (10/5): A great stay - Excellent location. Really helpful friendly staff. Food was lovely
- Jane (10/5): Perfect - We, my husband and me, stayed one night before flying early morning from Manchester airport and everything was perfect. The host and the staff were very accommodating I would highly recommend.
- Amie (10/5): - Great place to stay, staff are friendly, room was clean.
- Lisa (8/5): - Pub was lovely sat by a lovely log burner staff really friendly, room was very basic shame there were no curtains sun was beaming threw at 6am… overall good stay
- Mandy (4/5): Could be better - Really quick friendly check in, room was dull and worn! gold ceilings, dark brown walls, the biggest issue was someone trying to get into my room about 11:30 - 12 ish not a good experience
- gary (2/5): - Shocking, the staff where so rude. The facilities where not available to guest all tables reserved for locals non residents.
The condition of the room is terrible wall paper peeling off , very in need of redecoration
- Simon a (10/5): - All good local to village shops restaurants and bars
- Jo (8/5): - Lovely and clean. Small and perfect for my stay.
- howard (10/5): - Excellent service and very friendly
- Marilyn (10/5): - Super friendly pub and restaurant with great warmth and atmosphere.
- Sophie (10/5): - Very welcoming staff who were absolutely amazing with us. Rooms were very nice and cosy and extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again. We stayed for 2nights/3days and even wanted to stay another night! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Plenty of shops around too.
- Michael (10/5): - A nice clean and quiet room well located for an early morning flight out of the airport. Quick and easy check in with a friendly member of staff. Went a run at 4am before my flight and the local area provided a pleasant route. The pub associated with the rooms looked homely. Thank you
- Nicola (6/5): - The bar downstairs looks nice and the staff are friendly. The rooms need some new decoration and the lighting that didn't work needs fixing. I was very nervous about locking myself out given there was no staff on site after pub closing. Drinks selection in the room needs checking for out of date packets.
- Clare (8/5): - The location was excellent for Wilmslow
- RoadtripperUSA_11 (4/5): Not recommended for solo female travellers. - A very disappointing stay overall. A poky room up a dark staircase with a door that didn’t lock on the inside which was disconcerting for a solo female traveller. The walls desperately needed repainting and the main light fitting was hanging out of the socket. I could hear the voices of people in the next room and at 11.15pm when I was fast asleep there was a sinister repeated knock on my door which completely terrified me. I didn’t answer then heard the door of an adjacent room closing. Ended up blocking the door with the bedside table but struggled to get back to sleep. There is nobody on the desk after 11pm although apparently there is a live-in manager in the building. No bin in the room just one small one in the bathroom. Loud music from a speaker in the empty pub garden. A relatively comfortable bed but rammed up against the wall so would have been very difficult for two people to sleep in it. Two pillows, one rock hard one very soft. It wasn’t explained on the room paperwork (or by the staff member that took me to the room) that you need to switch the power on outside the bathroom door for the shower to work - thankfully I was able to work this out but many reviews show that people don’t understand this. A huge overhaul is desperately needed of this creepy, overpriced accommodation.
- Dave (2/5): Hotel Closed & Parking Ticket Received - I was not able to check in as the hotel was closed on arrival - despite me confirming a late check-in and arriving before the agreed time. I received a parking ticket from the "free" parking area. I am still trying to clear that. Hotels.com re-booked me in an alternative local hotel. What a nightmare.
- simon (10/5): - Super place really good local to village and good parking great place to stay can’t fault it 👍
- Andrea (8/5): Great stay!!! - An overnight stay Chris and his team couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was enjoyable food was delicious great hospitality
- Maeke (8/5): - Lovely music and overall relaxed vibe x
- JEFFREY (8/5): - Very cool historical building (pub) fit the bill perfectly for a quick overnight. Simple, single bed and bath but it’s all I needed.
Great staff and owner. Great value.
- lynn (10/5): - It was easy to reach by local transport and a perfect base for us : and Chris , the proprietor was so helpful
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No Aur con, no fan. Like staying in a sauna. Matress had a huge dip in the middle
- peter (8/5): - .
- nicki28mac (2/5): Awful in every way. - Just awful. Dirty, dingy small room. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. A full bin and half used toiletries. No tea bags no milk, filthy units and the whole room covered in dust. Very cold, thin blanket on a hard lumpy mattress and pillow - I had to use the towel as an extra blanket - the worst room I have ever stayed in. I did ask for another room but they didn’t have any so said they would give mine another clean - the only difference I noticed was the bin had been emptied.
- Nicola (2/5): - The room was very small, dark and dingy. It was very dirty with dust and cobwebs all over the tables and skirting board. The bin was full and there were crumbs in the the unit that holds the tea and coffee - there was no tea or milk and the kettle still had water in it. The mattress was hard and lumpy as was the pillow, the blanket was very thin and the room was very cold - I had to use the towel as an extra blanket. I also came away with 7 bites. I would say it’s the worst room I have ever stayed in and I went backpacking for 2 years!!
- Robert (6/5): - Room was fine but quite dusty, bed was comfortable. Room is above a pub so a little noisy. Unfortunately there was no heating or hot water during my stay which didn’t get resolved hence the lower rating.
- Claire (4/5): funny but not in a good way - need to advertise that they don’t do food on certain nights. you stay above a pub so that you can eat in the premises. the room was comedy. the kettle has no lees / plug. the tv had no remote or any logical way to turn it in. there were no cups or spoons even if you could make a drink. the bathroom was quite dirty, had to clean it before using, shame as it could be lovely. but the staff were friendly.
- Mike (6/5): - Dated and dusty, rooms need some TLC
- Steve (6/5): - The noise on the first night in the top bedroom meant I got no sleep at all. If you stay make sure to ask to not be in this room. Thanks
- James (2/5): - No sheets no milk no sugar and a bin full from the last guests
- Alan (8/5): - Room was clean and comfortable, bar staff were friendly, only thing that would have been handy to know before booking, is the do not serve food on Monday or Tuesday. I booked a Monday night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The head chef was very accommodating and overall just a great experience.
Thanks so much !
- Sunshine48780771944 (6/5): Not the best food - This could be one of the great Robinsons pubs, but to pay £8.50 for a calamari starter & only get 4 squid rings, even for Wilmslow this is a bit much.
Then to top it off they called last orders at 10.20. On a Saturday night
- Belinda (2/5): - Very disappointing and definitely not worth the price. Provides kettle and tea/coffee bags but no mug or glasses. Flat skirtings had a layer of dust and I wasn't game to put my hand on carpet to determine its cleanliness. Mattress was seriously soft and would not have liked to see if frame supported two persons. Had intended to stay 2 nights but moved after one. Worse than 2 star hotels I stayed in Turkey
- hollydC9736VY (2/5): Not for a single traveler on business - Staying as a single female, the door did not lock, the toilet did not flush properly, the shower was cold (& you had to hold the power button for it to run) & generally not as clean as I would expect. Hard to leave in the morning as all locked up & no staff in sight.
- clive (4/5): Never again !!! - The room was dark and dingy, but it is an old building. It was dusty, bits broken, no sugar with coffee when arrived. It doesn't do breakfast, but that wasn't apparent when booking it. Bought mine from Waitrose next door. No glasses to drink from either. Asked for refills on second day, and they never arrived. It was like I was never there. I will not use this place again........definitely !
- Steven (4/5): Not worth the money. - Room was OK if you are into dark chocolate and dusty gold colour schemes. Room cleanliness was passable but areas of the bathroom were still dirty.
Biggest issue was the toilet which wouldn't flush properly. The bowl filling with water before slowly seeping away. Issue reported the following day and we were told they would get it looked at. Returned late that night to find it was still an issue and a sink plunger left beside the toilet.
It was a lot of money for room only as the pub doesn't offer breakfast.
An exoerience i don't think we will be repeating. Don't book into room 5 unless they've fixed the toilet.
- 212jeetk (10/5): Hidden Gem of Wimslow ! <3 - This is one of the best place to stay inc the cozy clean rooms with numerous amenities and above all the best manager ever
I found this stay during stay for a Business trip to Manchester. The place is a lovely pub and rooms are spacious, with all amenities and above all the Manager Pav is impeccable friendly. Due to train delays i reached Wimslow at around midnight however Pav went beyond to not only ensure i am still able to check in but also that i reach safely and am settled in. He’s cheerful and made every possible arrangement for me in the room. Despite being on top of pub on main road - there was no noise disturbance at night in the room while a cute window provides a view of road outside.
Overall the place is lovely with spacious room setup with modern interior and amazing manager - definitely will be back and if you want to book a room in Wimslow highly recommended !
- Steven (10/5): - This made for a lovely last night before leaving the next morning from Manchester airport. Staff were very welcoming and friendly - can’t stress how important that is (BA take note, but I digress) The rooms aren’t modern but they are characterful and en suite and we wanted to stay in a pub and not a soulless chain hotel. We didn’t dine there but others clearly were enjoying the food (we just wanted pizza for our last night) but we enjoyed a couple of drinks. It was perfect for our needs and would stay again.
- A8017AIcarle (10/5): Lovely place - Amazing place , hotel drinks & food
Thanks king Willian we have had an incredible sleep , food & drinks in your beer garden , we will be coming to visit again soon , same time next year , we will be bringing more fiends & family
- PHILL (8/5): - I would normally book a chain hotel, but the late need for business travel meant I had to look elsewhere, I was surprised once I got in the room and I was very comfortable.
No meal availability onsite so ventured in to town and found several good options. and only 10 mins further to the airport.
Will book again when next in the area.
- Paulina (10/5): Boom boom - Fabulous landlord and partner very friendly
Lovely pub clean room only moan is the room we stayed in needs repainting bright colours as its very brown and dark
Would love to go back Boom Boom
Love paulina & toria xx
- 564arkm (10/5): Great stay - Thanks for good company any right food 🥘
That the great place time spend off.
The guy at he bar take care about it,U take a rest. The stay in a hotel amazing , near by airport etc great stay
Well recommend
- Darren (4/5): Nice pub not nice room - Room in poor state shower not working toilet blocked not enough cups for drinks and no milk.
Exposed light fitting in bathroom.bed pushed up against the wall so have to climb over partner.
Overall not very good and not worth the fee they are charging.
Also no one around in the morning to complain about the issues.
- Travel58694035628 (10/5): Stay at the King William 🇬🇧 - Stayed for two nights for a lacrosse tournament at the local sports center. The bar staff were very friendly especially Kate, served a good Guinness, and from a genuine Irish man: It was cracker! Stayed in a twin room and the beds were very comfortable, bathroom was clean and the beer garden is lovely. Thanks lads and would come again.
- AaronM1776 (10/5): Best pub in Wilmslow - Best pub in Wilmslow!
I visit Wilmslow twice a month and always make a point to pop in here. The staff are great, the atmosphere is alway friendly and the prices don’t hurt the bank.
Highly recommend this place to everyone especially mid week where there is virtually no life in the evening anywhere else
- nnewman1 (10/5): Great Sunday Lunch! - Visited The King William for a Sunday lunch with my partner and 9 month old. We had the Lamb sharing plate with extra Yorkshire puds which was delicious! Generous portions, good selection of wines and really good value. Will definitely be returning.
- harveys481 (10/5): Brilliant - Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful Pav especially is a great guy and very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a nice meal or even just to go out for a few drinks. Fantastic location for a lovely meal
- victorrL6625CY (10/5): Best bartender (pav) - Really nice vibe. Pav the bartender super friendly has good jokes and served the best pint of Guinness I’ve ever had.
Really comfy chairs and the fire makes it feel cosy, it demonstrates how a pub should be.
- Guide02518086941 (10/5): 3 nights stay - Very decent room with a comfotable bed. Room servis available after a request. Loved the pub! Live music, great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming stuff. Food was tasty and the portions were very generous. Definitely recommend.
- robertfR1726PJ (10/5): Great and cost stay - Stay for one night with my partner before the Hol great place to stay and fabulous food the burger was king.
That was a last minute booking the staff was great and help us with the bags as our room was on the top floor.
The atmosphere in the pub was great and cosy and definitely will be back
- marklW9633DS (2/5): Warning dirty rooms - The King William rooms is a dirty Hotel. The toilet had been used and not flushed or cleaned, there was toothpaste on the taps and around the sink area. The kettel was full of dust as was the dressing table and wall lights. There was a boarding pass left from days before on the dressing table. This hotel was a disgrace.
- krispydisco (10/5): Cozy pub with great food and nice rooms. - Excellent fish and chip dinner! Nice clean room with en suite. Highly recommended family run hotel and pub. Great location close to the train station. All amenities are within a five minute walk, beautiful nearby church. Thank you for a wonderful stay Pawel 😄.
- Robert (6/5): Okay - It served a purpose for one night but overall I wouldn't rush back.
It was mainly the room itself that makes me say this, it was drab and depressing with the dark decor. Though it might suit others.
The evening meal was very nice but I think they miss a trick with no breakfast option.
- PDS1000 (2/5): I've given it lots of chances but the place just isn't a hotel - I've stayed here a number of times because of the location and my dad lives very close. My three night trip this time prompts me to write a review which is so disappointing;
1 The room was dirty... shower /sink with hair in it and just not cleaned properly....
2) I was actually locked out on the first day. Went jogging and couldn't get back into the hotel (ha ha) for 4.5 hours because I had no key for the outer door (they forgot to give me one) at check in. Missed my meeting etc but they gave me a free glass of wine as compensation....Crazy!!! I was locked out from 7.30am to 11am until someone turned up to let me into the building...
2) My room wasn't serviced on the first night so I asked them to service it on the second night (as per their complex instruction form that was given to me) and it still wasn't serviced;
3) So, on the above point, I asked for new towels, toilet roll etc which they did provide to my room and asked for my room key and gave me the room key back. Unfortunately, they gave me the wrong room key and when I went to the room, it was open with the correct room key in the door...... you get the picture, my room was open for everyone that walked past... nothing was taken but could have been!!!
It's not a hotel, B&B or even a place to stay.... DO NOT STAY HERE , because this is the last time for me... If they can't provide a basic service (and remember its around £80 per night with no breakfast) then its time to shut up shop and try something else...
- 713adamf (10/5): Great cosy warm pub with excellent staff. - The staff were very attentive and nothing too much trouble. Good choice of drinks and very fast food service with food served piping hot.
Sunday roast was amazing, good choice of meat, and a good portion size - we will definitely be back !!
Great cosy warm pub with excellent staff.
- Angela (8/5): - It was fine for what we needed... a bed for the night! Certainly very warm, clean and everything we needed. Room waa a little smaller than we expected but spent a comfy night
- icecreamlizzie (10/5): Perfect stay - We loved the personal service, spotless clean quirky twin room and the tapas was amazing.
The sticky beef, pil pil and cauliflower were especially delicious and the free nibbles in the bar at 6pm were a lovely touch.
Free parking and a PERFECT chilled place to stay before an early flight.
- nicknsp (10/5): Nice Place - Nice pub in handy location with decent outside seating area at the ask. Nice choice of beer including Beavertown Neck Out, always a favourite. Bar staff particularly friendly and welcoming. I’m an occasional visitor to Wilmslow as I live in Spain. I will return.
- Doreen (8/5): - Car parking good. Pity they didnt do breakfast and food menu very limited but overall excellent place to stay
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Arrived at 8pm after a 3hr drive to be told that last orders for food was 8pm - so had to find somewhere nearby. This should have been pointed out on the booking info.
They weren’t able to provide an iron as there was only 1 shared between all rooms and it was already on use.
I had to chase a few times to get one - eventually the general manager provided his own personal one - it’s a small pub with rooms (no more than 8 rooms I think). They need to get to Argos and get some spare irons and boards sorted!
Staff were polite enough though
- Abdul (10/5): - Great place, right next to the train station. Owner was super helpful and friendly :)
- t (8/5): Good - Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Downstairs in the bar has been done nice and has a nice feel to it, the bedrooms however could do with some modernising.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for a solo traveller - Perfect for a solo traveller, i will stay here again. Only problem i had was the noise, it was as if the window was open so i think it must be single glazed, and the room was extremely hot. However i will definitely come back
- Colin (10/5): - For an inn above a pub it exceeded our expectations.Staff are really friendly and very accomodating. Will stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely pub, very helpful staff. Plumbing in room was a bit problematic but all sorted out.
- Emma (8/5): Birthday night away - A very friendly welcome from the landlord. Small but comfortable room with everything we needed . Bed very comfy . The pub it was in was very tastefully decorated and although we didn’t eat there the food we saw looked great .
Tv didn’t work which was sadly quite a big thing for us as I’m a terrible sleeper and watch during the night to help me . Landlord tried very hard to sort this and was very apologetic so couldn’t fault him but it did spoil are stay a bit sadly .
- Nathan (2/5): Never again - Couldn’t get in, arriving 1030 pm, pub closed no one answering phone
- Andrew (8/5): Easy location - Perfectly fine
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Tge manager was really useless i will write a more in depth review when home. No breakfastsno i room faciljes no hot water stopped serving evening meals at 8pm without tellling anyone.
- Eileen (4/5): One night in hell - When i arrived at the pub the lady behind the bar had no record of my booking, i showed her my confirmation and showed her that the room had been paid for in advance. I was shown to my room which was very basic and non too clean, a big black stain on the duvet cover. Quite frankly if I had not paid in advance i would have left. There was no shampoo or shower gel just a bottle of handwash on the sink. No breakfast was on offer. The location of the pub was on a busy road with no double glazing so I was awake from 4am as traffic started to flow the noise was horrific.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very basic room, you will need to bring toiletries. Bed is comfy! Got slammed for 25 gbp by cab at the airport. Should have just choose a hotel at the airport, didn’t save money with this budget option.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff, decent grub and real ale!....
- 06/03/15 0. (8/5): Good lication - Comfortable enough - good shower. Arrived on a Monday when the pub below is closed all day so had to call phone number to find out how to gain entry. Very hot weather so difficult to sleep! Bed relatively comfortable though. Only negative we hound was that our food was knocked at 09.55 to remind us to leave by 10am, however, this was not listed on the website when I booked. Luckily we were almost ready and left by 10.30. Had to leave key in the room as there was no-one around when we left!!!!
- Trevor (8/5): - Enjoyable and good locatiqn. Also good food.
- Katie (10/5): - Perfect getaway when flying early from Manchester. Great location and lovely boozer with good selection of drinks.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Host was very friendly and efficient. However, the room (3) was very tired! The whole room is in desperate need of a refurb. The loo was stained, the basin was stained and the plug for the basin was disgusting. The shower head kept falling apart and the mechanism for holding the shower head at an angle was faulty so that you had to hold the shower head to be able to direct the water. The whole room didn't look as if it had been vacuumed. We stayed 2 nights and the room wasn't serviced during our stay. All the common areas were even worse - peeling wall paper, dirty carpets etc. Once the pub kitchen was cooking, we could smell everything. That added with the smoke drifting up from the outside smoking area was not pleasant, although probably preferable to the road noise at the front of the property. I wouldn't stay here until the rooms have been totally refurbished.
- Daniel (10/5): Lovely sleep - Great welcome friendly staff great room lovely food
- Charles (8/5): Clean, Friendly, Affordable - The staff are friendly. Room tidy, clean and comfortable. Overall good stay for the price!
- Paddy (6/5): It’ll do... - Cheap and cheerful. Lovely people.
It is what it is...and it does what it says.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good hotel, friendly ambience. Food very good, lots of selection.
- Traveller (4/5): - Very clean, great bed and nice bedlinen. People were not noisy, considering above a pub - However, lorries roar past in the night and shake you awake. Double glazing could reduce road noise but doubt that is an option due to character of building, sadly. No mention of breakfast!
Would recommend as great place to crash, definitely not for a romantic stay...
