AMANDA (10/5): - I have been staying at this property for years. It is family safe with walking distance from many restaurants as well to easy commute access to main freeway. Rooms are spacious with each having AC. You have microwave and fridge in rooms and beds are comfortable. I recommend to anyone single or with family to stay at this hotel. It is very affortable and safe if you come with children. Plus is very quiet so you will have a peaceful night.

Gail (10/5): - The property is in an excellent location and very accessible to many ventures..I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the front desk personell Victor for once again being sympathetic to adverse actions that occurred and the willingness to work with me on my resolution..it made everything more comfortable for me and put my mind at ease..always a clean room for the last few days and the quiet and comfort were a God send..I would recommend this place to everyone.

GLENN (6/5): - The grab and go breakfast was a small orange juice, granola bar, store bought muffins and coffee. The bedroom was large and a big bed without blankets. The issue I had was the water, the water pressure was always low and limited basic toiletries. The was cleaned each day.

That was a little disappointing, but the owner saw that I was disappointed and went out of his way to go get the little packages of donuts and pastries for me the next morning!! Super thoughtful! Room was pretty clean and comfy! Definitely recommend staying there!

Brittany (10/5): - This location is very centrally located for the type of errands I needed to make during my time at Palace Inn. I also loved the cleanliness that you don’t find at most motels. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I stayed for about a month and it was relatively quiet. No sketchy people hanging around which was a plus for someone who is a single woman. The front desk manager was very accommodating also regarding all of my needs. A very nice and pleasant stay overall. I will return in the future.

Jonathan (2/5): - We checked in and went to the rooms and we're greeted by smoked in rooms with no AC. We told the man at the desk he immediately apologized and tried to find another room. The WHOLE FLOORs AC units were OFF. It it wasn't recent. They were off for a very long time. He offered a refund we left and went to another hotel. He called us and told us not to cancel with Expedia or we won't get a refund. We were 3 rooms for over $1000. While he was telling us to not cancel, he was already planning to refuse the refund from Expedia. That's why he made sure we didn't cancel. Scam, fraud, beware. Expedia tried and then gave up. Next friend came a day later and the AC was still off. THEYRE DOING THIS ON PURPOSE! NO GUESTS AND THEY STILL COLLECT!

Roxanna (4/5): - I got a non smoking room but it still smell like smoke to the point you can feel the itch on your throat i advised them of my boys having asthma and that I couldn’t stay there they didn’t want to reimburse they just said i can get change to another room but the new room still had the stink but not as much as the first one. The service is okay not bad and there’s no breakfast how they say it’s just coffee, fruit and granola bars

The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. If we ever come back to Houston, we will stay at this property. No doubt about it.

Only bad thing was need a new shower head. The one we have doesn't spray straight. Everything else is cool.

Sharla (10/5): - This was a last minute stay in Houston for my last night. It was located somewhere different than I actually had thoughts on the map but was worth a 20 minute drive away. It was clean. Staff was readily there to assist easy parking unit just as I requested very, very clean and upgraded, I will be returning anytime. I’m in Houston. It was very satisfying to stay in a clean place for the night. The only thing was the bed I was sleeping in I believe the platform the mattress was on was loose otherwise very good stay.

Andrea (4/5): - The night manager was rude. She had such a thick accent that made it very hard to understand her questions. When stated "i don't understand you and your question ", she would ask the same question faster and in a louder voice. They also did not have any hand towels to use. At least I had a wash cloth and a bath towel. The year before when I stayed at this same hotel, it was a much better experience.

Walls , floor , bed, furnitures all in great condition/ no stains or rips or anything broken. I’m highly impressed by this location . Outside it clean , no trash or vandalism. No loud neighbors or cars. The location is super great next to the 290 freeway and a lot of shopping near by. It’s kid friendly. My son loved it he said he felt safe here. I booked again for 4 days because for the price and quality you can’t beat it . Bonus: Front desk is a super nice guy. You do get free breakfast. Includes drinks coffee and milk etc ..
Tracy (10/5): - My wife and I have been here 4 times for "date night" to get away and spend some quality time together. Victor is the property manager and is very nice and enjoyable to talk to. The property is very clean and maintained and up to date. The rooms are spotless and very clean, including the bathroom. We like there is a microwave and small fridge because we usually bring our own food so we don't have to leave the hotel. ;^)

I felt that they had left the bed sheet to see if the next customer complains or not. If they do, they come and change it. Breakfast had very limited options. At the time of check out, I said that the room was dirty and that was the first time someone apologized. All in all, it might be OK for one night but definitely check the bed sheet.

Verified traveler (2/5): Poorly run, Bad customer service - I stayed at another Palace Inn with very professional staff and clean rooms, so I assumed the same would be true here. No. We requested another room since our first looked like a fight scene, and staff moved us to a second room that was still not cleaned properly. Hole in bathroom door, makeup and hair on towels, grease on bed board, makeup smudged on door, stained sheets and mattress, etc. Staff was only worried about denying me a refund and telling me not to book through Hotels.com again. Luckily, through Hotels.com I was givenOneKeyCash to book somewhere else.

I know other hotels of very equivalent prices without even a washer & dryer. I happy to have this hotel as a go-back-to place to enjoy peace & accommodation.

She first gave us a 1 queen bed room, we had to move our luggages to another room. Then she said this is a wrong room with the suite and we had to move our luggages to the third room. The third room key didn't work. I went to the office to see what the issue was. She was so mad that she toss it back to me. Never seen this kind of front desk people like her and she will make this hotel closed out.
