• Jake (6/5): Fine spot to stay, we stayed in April, house was quite cold. Great value otherwise. - Good value, nice brai area, nice garden and good parking. Host was responsive . Our section was quite cold, space heaters were broken.
• Rossouw (7/5): We didn’t stay there because we just needed to rest and travel further the next morning. The neighs were having a barbec - It is very clean and beautiful. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay the evening, this place is probably not for you, but if you’re looking for a place to sit and relax and make fire and you don’t mind the neighbors doing the same then this place is perfect.

• Marisa (5/5): Mostly enjoyed it. - I like the size of the rooms and the private braai area. I was a bit disappointed in the clean up services. Other facilities we used previously cleaned every second day, and here we only had a cleaner once during the 7 days. So it maybe thatnis the way they do it but it was not something I was used to.

• J (9/5): Easy to book and the agent was very accommodating even though my wife arrived 4 hours ahead of time. - I was not there myself, but my wife and son were very impressed. They arrived earlier than expected and were assisted by the agent with no issues at all. The place was in good neighborhood, clean and well lit. They were hoping to stay longer.

• Carla (1/5): Very Bad!! I will not recommend this place to anyone - Location was Good It is unacceptable to allow people to stay in a room like this for the price that was charged. To make matters worse, this is apparently their “most expensive room” — we paid R1,750 per night. The room is honestly not even worth R750. The layout is impractical and uncomfortable: the basin is inside the shower, the toilet is in a very awkward space, and the bed does not meet basic standards at all. When making the booking, you are given the option to select rooms, but for this specific room there are no photos or previews available (see screenshot). Had we been able to see what the room actually looks like beforehand, we definitely would not have booked it. I would honestly be embarrassed to let guests sleep in a place like this — especially at that price.

Beds was worn out, with the springs hurts when sleeping. beds were not good, and the bed springs were hurting us. Bathroom in the 4 sleeper house had a damp smell. DSTV and the TV was not working. Bathroom basin was in the shower cubicle. Our stay at this place was absolutely terrible.

• Natalie (7/5): 3 Night stay - Amazing bird life, great room size, apartment layout, bathroom size were generous,, beds were great The wifi was not working for the whole stay. The close proximity to the other units was not great, there were often people waiting outside our unit for their lift or walking past our windows. The braai area was not private, the sea view was tiny and a glimpse through trees, not what I expected. There was no oven as advertised, some of the crockery had not been cleaned, there were no braai tongs

• Watson (5/5): Really not what we expected from a property in Danna Bay. - The property is located in a nice neighborhood with a view of the ocean. The person who manages the property wasn't very friendly and treated us as thought we were Jehovah witnesses. The room had an interlocking door connecting it to the main house. We could hear every conversation the lady had with the child. Not to mention the noisy bird.

• Makena (1/5): Bad - The owners simply didn't open up. I was at the gate for a while and hooted and tried calling more than 4 times, but the phone was never answered. The worst part is the host did not even call back the next day or anything, but hey 🤷‍♂️ you pay in advance, so I guess they were happy they got their money. I called the host before getting there and we agreed that I'd arrive between 23:00-00:00 and the host said it was okay and even said they'd send someone to open, I must just call when I'm at the gate. I understand it's late but if the time wasn't okay then don't agree to it. Anyway, I ended up finding another place to stay an hour away, which was beautiful. I still can't believe the host did not call back the following day, I would've honestly understood if they called and said they passed out or something because it was late even though I asked beforehand if i could arrive at that time.

• Zoi (9/5): Hannie made our stay. - Hannie welcomed us warmly and couldn't do enough to make us comfortable, tell us about the area , recommend restaurants and even managed find us a map. She arranged a taxi service after we struggled to find one ourselves and even went as far as getting a bag I had forgotten in the room to me as soon as we completed our hike. She is the most valuable asset to the establishment.

The wash basin in bathroom drain was blocked. Water pressure not good in shower. A Generator needed in these Loadshedding times. my husband could not use his medical cpap machine the result was loss of sleep.
