• Brigitte (9/5): Escapade vélo 2026 - Un accueil chaleureux. Une grande disponibilité et un réel souci d'adaptation. Nous séjournions à vélo à travers les Ardennes Belge. Nos sollicitations étaient quelque peu particulières. Les charmants propriétaires ont su répondre au mieux à nos demandes. C'est précieux ! Je recommande fortement cette auberge Une bouilloire dans la chambre aurait été très appréciée

• Joost (9/5): Hotel voor een korte motortrip - De locatie was precies wat we ons er van hadden voorgesteld voor 2 daagjes met de motor rijden in de omgeving. Een goed ontbijt, prima kamer, een heerlijk diner en lekkere Trapisten biertjes. Onduidelijk was wanneer er hoog- of laagseizoen was. Daardoor kwamen we aan op een "rustdag". Dit werd overigens zéér schappelijk opgelost met alsnog een beschikbaar diner en een paar biertjes.

• Matthieu (8/5): Très bien, je recommande ! - Chambre individuelle confortable, bien équipée, restaurée et très propre. Accueil très sympathique. Bon petit-déjeuner, varié et copieux. C'était très bien ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter. La literie un peu molle à mon goût, l'écran TV un peu petit, mais ce ne sont que des détails qui n'ont pas gâché le séjour.

• Loubna (7/5): Vriendelijke uitbaters, maar de accomodatie zelf was niks voor mij en eigenlijk te duur voor wat het was. - Ontbijt was ok, aangename ruimte, niet al te veel keuze maar voor ons wel voldoende, gastvrouw vroeg meermaals of alles naar wens was. Voldoende propere handdoeken op de kamer. Propere badkamer. Terras vooraan gezellig. Bedden veel te zacht, roken ook niet al te fris. Bovenste verdieping veel te warm, geen airco aanwezig (maar dat wisten we). De ramen konden wel volledig open, maar dat vond ik te gevaarlijk voor de kids. Ook waren de ramen echt vuil dus sowieso niet aangenaam om ze open te laten staan. Geen mogelijkheid om ze op kiepstand te zetten, wel muggenramen aanwezig op de kamer om zelf te installeren indien gewenst, maar die moesten er weer uit om de ramen te kunnen sluiten (niet van deze tijd). Vermelding van op elke kamer in de familiekamer een eigen tv en eigen badkamer maar dat was niet het geval. Stoorde ons niet, maar mocht wel correct gecommuniceerd worden, want zo krijg je het idee dat de kamer een goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding heeft.

• Fabian (8/5): - Bon hôtel, très bon petit déjeuner, personnel sympathique. Chambre individuelle petite et trop mansardée pour les personnes de grande taille comme moi, cela devrait être pris en compte à mon arrivée, si d autres chambres étaient disponibles, ce qui semblait être le cas.

• Bradi (9/5): - Nous étions déjà venu deux fois pour le menu de chasse qui a toujours été impeccable, maintenant nous avons goûter les plats à la carte et cela est toujours excellent. Une maison à recommander sans hésitation.

• Tops (8/5): Voor de totaalprijs ( heden ten dage ) , een zeer goede ervaring. Om terug in te verblijven. - Voor hygiene , comfort en het bed , heb ik een neutraalscore gegeven. Hygiene en comfort , gaan hand in hand..... Omdat , er bij de lavabo geen zeep(je) te vinden was. Voor het handen en gezicht wassen , diende ik vloeibare zeep uit de douchecel te nemen. Dit is poepsimpel en goedkoop te verhelpen. De matras was te zacht. Het onderlaken kwam bovenaan los. MAAR , een mooi verbouwde locatie met oog voor detail. Een gezonde mix van traditioneel en modern interieur. O , JA ; diep in wallonie , tegen de Franse grens ; de perfect nederlandse taal. De zaakvoerder(s) is,( zijn ) van Deerlijk . Heerlijk ! Een onschuldig zeepje. Op of aan de lavabo , in de badkamer.
• NOELLE C. (7/5): Bon séjour mais un peu cher pour la qualité - Le calme du village. Le choix des bières Le choix et la qualité des plats au restaurant Le matelas très mou. Les draps qui n'étaient pas en coton et qui, du fait du synthétique, faisaient des boulettes grattantes. Le petit déjeuner basique, même pas un fruit frais, pas de fromage blanc, la salade de fruits en boîte. Pas le choix du jus de fruits, seulement du jus d'orange.

Variety of local beers from the region. Weather. This is a small family business and when shirt of staff and hosting a large dinner event, they are stretched and service drops from their usual high class attendance!
• Andrew (10/5): Wonderful place with wonderful friendly and helpfu - The hotel is well located in a beautiful and scenic part of the country. I used this as a stopover, close to European space centre and on the way to Disneyland Paris, but it's so much more than a stopover and I'm eager to return and use it as a base for canoeing the beautiful Semois valley. It is clean, comfortable, well decorated, has a great atmosphere and also benefits from being well served by really friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely breakfast and nice beer too!

• Susan (10/5): Orchimont stay - Both Guido and his wife are friendly hosts, making you feel nothing is too much trouble. The auberge has outdoor seating both front and back of the property, offering sun or shade for a quiet drink of beer. Guido is a marvellous chef, I would be the size of a house if I had stayed longer. I was on a motorbike and was offered the use of their garage for overnight parking.

• Anonymous (10/5): A truly welcoming stay in a quaint village environment, that has fantastic food, wine and local Trappist beers. Highly r - The hotel is lovingly owned by Caroline and Guido who are extremely friendly and helpful hosts. We had a very well appointed room with a fantastic shower in the en-suite. The hotel was a nice size and you were made to feel very welcome. The food was fantastic and their was a good choice for all group members, which was supported by an excellent choice of local beers. The three of us had a great time here and we will return next year for the Gedinne Classic motorcycle racing and to visit places of interest. No real complaints.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Voor een 2-sterrenhotel : dik in orde - Ontvangst was goed. Ontbijt was in orde, en 1x een warme maaltijd s'avonds benuttigd en ook deze was in orde. Kamer n°3 was ruim, enkel de douchecabine was een minpunt.

• paul (10/5): Peaceful - would be great to stay a few days - Was only here for a night but received a friendly welcome. This is a very traditional appearing auberge from the outside and bar but with really modern, comfortable rooms. I had dinner in the bar and Guido is a chef who takes great pride in his food. Sitting in the bar in the evening was great, friendly hosts and although quiet it seemed the locals were welcoming. If you want some peace it may be worth noting that other than a car leaving as I arrived I didn't see or hear another one move.
