Guest Reviews
- Maira (6/5): - The condo and property itself was very nice and clean, however, their was a roach infestation and pillows are outdated.
- Arturo (6/5): - Kitchen Sink was clogged up the entire stay
2nd bathroom sink didn't drain. Dishwasher didn't worked still left dirty dishes.
Also reachout to properties mngmt no answer. Other than that nice location
- Dennis (10/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Easy check in. Easy check out. Code entry doors convenient. Towels were large and absorbant. Beds were comfortable.
- lee w. (10/5): Nice Condo as advertised - Condo was clean, facility was well maintained. Check in was awesome.
- Jojo (10/5): - The place was in very good condition, they had all the things that we needed for cooking.
- Bob (4/5): - Noisy was working in condos next to us then people bringing the dogs in and leaving them on the balconies where they all barked and howled for hours
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We have nothing but positive things to say about this place.
No comply whatsoever.
Keep up the good work! See you again soon!
- Casey (2/5): Saida Towers SPI Disaster - First off, no towels replacement! Are you kidding me? You have to travel into town to get replacement towels at a so called resort. The hot tubs only had one jet working! Wow, 3 tubs only one jet working. No ice making machines in the building or in the refrigerator! The floors were filthy, along with the carpets! The furniture smelled of butt and had stains on the cushions! Ridiculous! Oh yeah, almost forgot. When you think you done with paying your bill online you get hit with another $170 for cleaning before you check in! Hotels.com doesn’t include that in their price, very deceptive and unethical!
- Shirley (8/5): - I loved the room. It was very clean and accommodating. Just wished there were ice machines available.
- Erika G. (10/5): Excellent - Very spacious and pretty place
- Verified traveler (6/5): Unpleasant smell. - We love the location and amenities. It has a smell all over. Needs to be disinfected and wash with clorox.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible, things not working - Elevator didnt work, lazy boy chair broken. didnt get the beds we reserved. Strange sink bed sheets. impossible to sleep on. master bedroom fan doesnt work. just sn old unkeep property
- Diana E. (2/5): - Property is very pretty but there is an issue with the sewer lines property smell horrible. Management doesn't seem to care. There employees were very kind and sympathetic.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Saida Towers - We had a nice stay, condo was roomy, did have a mold/mildew smell though. Pools & beach access were nice/convenient.
- Kevin (4/5): - The condo was relatively clean and the grounds and pool were in good condition. The condo had a leaky ceiling in the living room area. There was mold on the ceiling in the shower area The condo had a bleachy smell.
- Robert (6/5): - I rented through HOTELS. Com and quickly got shifted over to Cheap GETAWAYS LLC. That's when the nitemare started, they require a 97.00 cleaning fee, they charge you 25.00 for the soap and toilet paper and then require a 250.00 DEPOSIT that a week later I still haven't been reimbursed for,be very careful to read the small print on this one and if your doing a 1 or 2 note stay be careful with the 4pm check in and 10am check out.
- Jill (6/5): - The overall property is kept nice, lush and green and they have nice tennis courts and pools. The walk down to the beach was also nice as there was kind of a boardwalk so easy to trek down to. The condo itself was ok. It wasn't kept to the best of what it could be. The mattress for the bed was hard as a rock, not very comfortable. Showers were tiny, no towel racks for bath towels in master bath and there was water damage in the ceiling so apparently it hasn't been repaired for awhile. But for a long weekend it would do. I just didn't think it was worth the price per night that we ended up paying. Especially since Expedia tacked on a $170 cleaning fee that we didn't know about until we got there. At least that is what they told us. The property overall nice, room, eh.
- Margarita (8/5): - The room was great. We had everything we needed. The only trouble we experienced were the unfriendly security guards at the entrance.
- Mathew (2/5): First impressions are everything. Theirs was bad! - When I got there the check in was in a different building. I checked in with some young lady and she told me that there was a deposit of 170$. We got to the room and it smelt like mildew but not real bad. The first night one of the tenants had bug bites on her back and arm when she woke up from the pull out sofa. The second night another tenant slept on the sofa bed and she had bite marks down both of her legs. We never got any new towels or any type of housekeeping the entire stay. When we went to check out we couldn't find one of the 3 keys they gave us so I asked if they could just take it out of the deposit. The guy working at the time said there is no deposit and acted like he didn't really care that one of the employees said that it was a deposit at check in. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Just because it's a pretty place doesn't make your trip a good trip.
- Jared (4/5): - The bed sheets smelled musty, like body odor. I booked a room with two bathrooms, but there was only one. The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly. However, the woman at Padre Rentals was rude. Those were the negatives. The location is awesome. The view is great. It was a clean room other than the odor coming from the sheets.
- dalila P. (4/5): - Was very disappointed with the room itself . We have been staying at the Saida Towers for years , but this condo in particular was very dirty. Sand on top of comforters, tv’s in 2 bedrooms were outdated and not working. Mattresses were hard and uneven .
- Us (6/5): - Great view! But A/C died on us first day in. They didn’t answe our supposed 24 hour maintenance call until the next day. We had to sleep in almost 80 degrees of humidity! We actually didn’t really sleep much, so uncomfortable. The next day they came to fix but left the fan on nonstop therefore was loud ALL the time. I left a message for manager of property, they never called me back. Condo was very spacious and convenient to beach and nice pool with Tiki huts, one food, one liquor. Pretty laid back and not too congested. Great location! We wouldn’t stay there again due to the amount of of humidity and pretty old. It was nice they left a bit of necessities.
- B (8/5): beautiful beach - I think it was a great place to be , only one thing , i wish they have the trail to the beach longer, even with sandals we burn our feet .
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The unit needs to be renovated. The unit needs to be painted and the furniture was discussting and smelled. We have stayed there since the mid 80’s and never had a unit so run down.
- Luis (10/5): Spacious, nice view - Very clean, nice view, beautiful beach, good pools
- Ellen (10/5): Great place!!!! Loved it! - We went there for mother’s day weekend. After reservation was made I got a phone call from Mr Craig who gave me all the instructions and besides that chose the perfect unit for us thinking about my 2 years old baby boy. He put us in a property on the ground floor really close to the beach! He was awesome. One day before we arrive I called to ask about early check in. A girl named Kim answer the phone and helped a lot!!!! She was super sweet! When we arrived we checked in fast! Property was clean and smelling good. Great location!!! We had a great time and will DEFINITELY come back! Thanks Saida Team! You guys are awesome. We had an unforgettable time!!!! God bless y’all ;)
- Verified traveler (10/5): nice location safe place - enjoyed our 2day stay. location great by gas stations, food, shopping. security and gate access was a plus. parking close to your unit. beach access awesome, tennis courts good shape. 3 pools nice
- kim (8/5): Excellent location, heated pool and spas,
- Venue is great for families and kids- can swim in ocean, warm up in heated pool or spa,
Gulf is very kid friendly-wide clean beaches and shallow -no rip tide and lots of kid size waves Half day bay fishing fun for kids, Turtle rescue is excellent for kids
- E (4/5): Not The Family Vacation We Had In Mind - Just for clarity's sake: the unit we ended up staying in was nice and we would return to that particular unit. The first unit we were given was not acceptable. Every single interaction with the front desk was unpleasant. I should have known things were amiss when we tried calling to move our trip one night earlier and I left multiple voicemails that were never returned, was told it was too much work to change our reservation and then ended up getting hung up on. When we arrived our first unit was in unacceptable condition, filthy and with just about everything broken from the refrigerator to the shower and drains. We asked to get moved to another unit and you would think we had asked for a free room. The service at the company that manages this property is atrocious. This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a vacation property management company. Had we not drive 7 hours to get there we would have asked for our money back and returned home
- Akshay (4/5): Cleanliness is the biggest issue - My feedback is based on my last stay at at Saida Tower-3 #842. The over all stay was ok but we had 2 major problems with the cleanliness of the apartment. The apartment has a very bad smell of smoke. It seems it was used by people who smokes inside the apartment. The smell eventually has triggered by migraine, which is not good to have during the vacation. In master bedroom, the sheets has tons of long hair of woman, which indicates that sheets were not clean.
I have informed the same issues while checking out but the management has not taken any appropriate action yet.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good condo but it would have been helpful to prove de more towels, more soaps, and better pottery.
- Brandon (2/5): Underwhelming experience. - Condo was severely outdated and deteriorating, it was beyond filthy and we were told we had a full beach view and as it turned out we had a view of a tree, the pool and some slight ocean in the background. We pay an additional $170 for a cleaning service that clearly doesn't exist. We had to wear shoes everywhere inside because the floor turned our feet and socks black. For some reason there were ants all over our balcony outside even though we never had food out there at all. There was rust on all over anything metal, dust everywhere and half of the lights did not work. If the person who stayed there before us payed $170 for a cleaning service he was completely ripped off. How is it clean if the floor isn't mopped, the oven and dinner table both have grease and spots all over it and there is dust everywhere? We most certainly will never stay there again nor will we recommend it to anyone.
- l (10/5): Excellent - Very beautiful place had a great time my wife can't wait to get back out there
- d (10/5): Roomy - The condo was nice. It's not a 4 star hotel but really nice and comfy. Also roomy right on the beach and nice pool
- kim (8/5): We had a good time, but... - We have gone to South Padre for 20 years. While there are nicer places to stay, we love Saida Towers. The 3 pools are always clean, grounds are maintained, there is a poolside bar and food hut. The balcony was huge, but our unit was in need of a makeover. The $170 cleaning fee they charged when we got there was way too high for this small 1 bedroom unit.
- adriana (10/5): Awesome Vacation - The location was amazing the view was awesome perfect place we had a great vacation the condo was perfect
- Humaira (2/5): Horrible experience! - It was really a bad trip. We reached there at 12:00 mid night. We were not guided that we have to get the key first from the office which is 5 min drive from the tower. We had our handicapped mother with us. The condo was on 4th floor and we were told that the lift is not working. We had to go back and forth from office to the tower to solve this matter. It took more than 2 hours. The manager Mathew said that it is not their problem and it is the problem of the people who maintain it. The lady at the office was unable to change the condo. Her computer was not accepting anything. My mom got frustrated sitting on the street for so long. Finally we got the other location but there were no shower curtain in the bathroom plus an awe full smell all over. It was really frustrating when you are wasting you night after paying so much money. It was really a bad experience that I will never repeat.
- Lizzie (8/5): Condo complex is close to the beach. - Condo complex is close to the beach offering lovely views from the balcony. The surrounding areas are very nice with pools, jacuzziis, tennis courts and well manicured landscaping.
The unit itself is older but clean and spacious. It is in good condition.
We had to search around the condo complex to find the complex laundry as the unit does not have a laundry pair in the condo which is a negative. We had to call and ask where the laundry was because there was nothing in the paperwork we received saying where we could find the laundry. There was one on the next floor down but it is expensive. Not having it on the same floor means going up and down the stairs or elevator to check on your wash. We went to a laundromat instead.
The kitchen is lacking a few expected essentials like a cookie sheet or pizza pan. It only had one ice tray so you must buy bagged ice.
- arlene (10/5): - we arrived late due to cancellation of flight and being rescheduled to fly in a day later. When we got there we were pleased to find out that they had upgraded our room to a three bedroom ,very spacious.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A lovely, spacious condo right on the gulf! - I really enjoyed my stay at Sadia Towers! The room had an awesome view and a balcony for sitting watching the sunrise! It was conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. It is within a gated compound, so I had a sense of security.
- Alan (10/5): Nice condo - Our condo was a 1 bedroom with a pull out sofa. It was clean and very roomy. The view was awesome!
- MaRk (10/5): Awesome - Beachfront access, 3 pools, security
- PALOMA (10/5): My solo getaway Vacation - Had stayed at Saida towers before and had to stay again! This place is beautiful and got it for a good price. Everything was so spacious the kitchen, dinning room, sitting area, bed rooms and restrooms. I love the kitchen comes with everything you need to cook and eat. Pool area is great and the access to the beach is super close and clean. They have water holes to rinse yourself when coming from the beach. Stayed there a week and did not want to leave.
- Irma (10/5): beautiful!!!! - The Saida Towers is a very beautiful place to stay at. the only thing I didn't care for was the noise coming out of the bathroom .
- Anthony (4/5): close to beach - Room had an awful smell, dirty rooms, not many towels, back door would not close completely, have to drive 1.5 mile to exchange towels. I would not recommend this facility to a friend.
- AlishA (8/5): Great Space for Family - Two families ages 8-45, 8 people total, stayed in Saida 4502 for 5 days. There was plenty of space and comfort for everyone. Very well maintained/decorated condo with ocean view balcony. Three nice pools with hot tubs on property and beach access. Great deal for price.
- Carol (10/5): Location location location - Love the condo.very spacious.will stay again. Hours after booking with hotels.com I received an email from the rental co. With more info. I would say bring extra towels cause the exchange is about a 1/2 mile down. Where the condo is located you can get right on the bridge and have easy access to Port Isabela that have all the stores that could help you with anything you would need. The hotel next door have Starbucks.
- Joyce M (10/5): Saido Towers - South Padre Island - We stayed in 3121 in Tower 3, it is a 3 bedroom condo on top floor, it was beautiful condo!! Only downfall is you don't get any room service for cleaning or clean towels or linens. You have to go to rental office about a half mile away to exchange between 11am-3pm and they charge for exchange, but there is a washer and dryer in condo, so we washed them ourselves instead. Also, you have to pay a $170 cleaning fee that isn't advertised, we found out about that after we booked! But the condo was worth it!! Super clean place, very family oriented, gorgeous balcony, oceanview, lots of shops and places to eat nearby. 3 nice pools onsite and short boardwalk to beach. Really clean beach and beautiful water.
- ryan (10/5): Slice of heaven - It was awesome...did not want to leave.
