The breakfast was varied and freshly cooked to order. We liked the onsite shop. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. No negatives, it was first class. Overall it exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay there again. Faultless!

• Koch (10/5): A lovely stay - So glad we found this place! The location is on the outskirts of Kelowna . Our large room had a fireplace and a balcony, with a lovely view of the mountains. Across the street is an apple orchard. Hillcrest is a combination farmers market, cafe and inn. There are about 5 rooms on the second floor, so be sure to book early if you want to stay there. Breakfast was included--you just order from the menu. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need in terms of amenities. It felt well thought out and made the stay very easy and relaxing. A lovely place overall, I’d definitely recommend it. Nothing, it was great!

The balconies off the rooms overlook the highway so it’s very noisy when you want to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine. If the highway wasn’t there, it would be a nice view.

Staff clueless. - Location agreed weeks in advance to early checkin before 1PM and confirmed when we called but room was not ready. Staff no idea about hospitality business and no help with local information. Rooms face noisy highway.
• Shelley (9/5): Superb - When asking for more pods for coffee the dark haired young girl said this isn't a hotel its a B&B, when we googled what B&B's provide the answer was they provide coffee. We stayed 4 nights. I guess if you do not provide coffee then why do you have a kerig and coffee pods in the room? My husband was offended with her answer.
• Irina (10/5): - This is definitely a hidden gem. The place is very beautiful, the room we stayed in was gorgeous! The staff is super nice and the food they serve is fresh and so delicious. The eggs benedict are the best I've ever had!! Prices are reasonable too. Will definitely be back!
• Jeremy (6/5): Hillcrest Farm Stay - I arrived after hours so I called the number on the wall and was helped by a very nice guy who seemed like one of the farmers. There was only 1 other car parked and the place was a ghost town so if you are alone it may feel a bit strange. The shop is only open from 8-5 so I was hoping to get some food once I got there but it was too late. There is nothing walking distance from here so you will have to drive a short distance. The room was clean, large, updated, with a big balcony and good a good view. The door to the balcony could not lock and I let them know on the first day but it was not fixed by the time I checked out a couple days later. I came downstairs on the first day and I went to look at the market and no one was in this area and at one point there were two ladies that walked up to me and surprised me asking if they can help me. Felt like they thought I might have been trying to steal something and I told them I am staying here and just checking out the store. The breakfast was good and had a nice outdoor seating area. But the staff both days never seemed that friendly to me for some reason. This place is very close to the highway and it is on a hill so it was pretty loud as cars gunned it up the hill. The AC unit also clicks on loud and runs for about 5 minutes then clicks off then clicks on again loud. On the second night I used some ear plugs but felt a little noisy. So overall I had a few difficulties staying here but this was my own opinion.

We arrived after 4:00pm so had to call the host who didn't answer the phone so I had to leave a message. Which left us outside wondering what to do. • Linda (10/5): - We had never booked a bed & breakfast because we like privacy. There were only 5 B&B units located above a farm market and cafe, each one different. We booked the Peach room, with two beds. The rooms are upstairs, accessed through a side entrance which goes up to that level. The rooms are HUGE and include a gas fireplace, microwave and refrigerator, coffee making apparatus, and a huge bathroom with both a soaking tub and a large glass shower. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with amazing sheets that were super soft. The peach theme was carried out in the decor. Even the hallway was furnished with nice furniture. Since we were planning to ski at Big White in the morning, we were a little disappointed that breakfast wouldn't be available until 8 am, but we were able to preorder the night before and pick it up to go, so it wasn't an issue. The breakfast was delicious, with a number of enticing choices. It included an entree, a side (we chose savory scones), and a latte or other coffee drink. I had the breakfast sandwich with an egg, spinach, cheese, and a special tomato sauce on soft toast that was so good both my husband and I ordered it the second morning (and I would love to try to duplicate it at home). We were the only guests staying for the two nights, but the price was so reasonable and the experience so delightful that we are surprised it's not full all the time! We would stay there again any time!

• Susan (10/5): - When we walked into our room we had the experience of getting something more than we expected. We felt that the breakfast included was generous and delicious - farm market eggs as well. The huge bathtub was luxurious - it all felt like a real treat!
