- Crosbie (10/5): Great relaxing low-tech holiday to actually spend time with my Husband! - We were really impressed with the Bloomfield Inn. The kitchenette in our room (The Meadow) came with all of the basics and then some! Also, huge bonus points for having Mikes BBQ PEC in the backyard for a fun midday meal! Directly next door as well, is the All My Friends Beer Co. It literally could not be situated any better. Bloomfield is a lovely town to walk and take in the sights while having access to everything you need. They even supplied a complimentary Parks Pass for use during our stay. We knocked off 4 provincial parks and beat the crowds. There really isn't anything that we didn't like. I could say the water pressure was less than what we like, but that's hardly anything important.

Excellent central location for visiting all over Prince Edward County. Very quiet and relaxing area. A mirror in the bedrooms would be useful. Base of shower stall needs work to look clean. Mason jar glasses trendy but would prefer regular thinner lighter drinking glasses.

- Martin (7/5): Pleasant but not exceptional - The bed was comfortable and the local of the hotel was good for our plans. It was pleasant but the room was not overly large. The shower stall was very small. Breakfast would be nice. Most similar hotels including our next hotel in the country include breakfast. They were not willing to extend our checkout by an hour which meant my partner had to sit in the hall until I could come back from my meeting and pick her up.

Très propre, bien équipée et fonctionnelle, nous avons particulièrement apprécié le confort de la literie, et les informations laissé par les propriétaires. Même si arrivée et départ se font de manière autonomes, nous avons perçu l'enthousiaste des propriétaire à travers le book d'informations .... une mine d'or pour un séjour agréable. Ils sont aussi très réactifs via les mails. L'extérieur est bien équipé aussi. Rien, tout nous a convenu !

- Julie (10/5): Beautiful Inn in a perfect location! - Our room was the Lakeside. It was big and bright! Very clean and private. It's a 15 min drive to sandbanks. The stay came with a pass to the park. We were very happy with everything!

- Heather D (5/5): Okay but not good value. - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, both of which are really important. The location within Bloomfield was excellent (a short walk to stores and restaurants on main street), and there was plenty of free parking. There were also some areas outside with Muskoka chairs, which was nice. The hotel is very basic with small rooms and low end fixtures and furniture, and our window didn't have a screen so it wasn't possible to have the window open. The building we were in was not very sound-proof so ear plugs were necessary to not hear others coming in or going out. I expected better for the price charged.

- Rita (7/5): Cute Inn Central to Many Attractions - The location was excellent. It was central to many places in PEC (within 10-15 minutes) such as Picton, Wellington, Sandbanks Provincial Park, Lake on the Mountain and numerous wineries and craft breweries. We booked a room without a full kitchen. The room was comfortable with a small, separate living room. Our room had a small bar fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, coffee, tea, cups, dishes, utensils. These amenities were perfect for our needs. We liked that they gave a code to purchase an online day pass to any of the nearby provincial parks for free using their season pass. The Bloomfield Inn changed ownership a couple of months after we had booked it. Besides its central location, another reason that we chose this inn was because under the old ownership it stated there was an attached bistro. We felt that having an onsite bistro would save us time in the mornings at breakfast. Unfortunately, the new ownership is still working things out and the bistro was not open. However, we did find other places for breakfast in Bloomfield and Picton. The other downfall for this unit was that the shower was tiny. We would also recommend improved cable offerings, as they were limited, and provide a card list of what the channels show. We understand that with new ownership come growing pains. I would book The Bloomfield Inn again, curious to see what improvements have been made. The kitchen suites look nice. The staff were very friendly.

- Hristo (7/5): Nice and enjoyable stay at a very reasonable price - It was a very nice, well designed and spacious apartment with a living room, kitchen and bedroom. The kitchen had a microwave, toaster, coffee maker and some utensils as well as plates and bows. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. There was an area outside with patio chairs and a barbecue, so one can enjoy them at any time. The hotel was only 10-15 minutes from the beaches. There was no fan in the bathroom. There was a very strong nature oil smell in the air in the living room which was may be due to the laundry detergent that was used for the towels and sheets. All the liquid soaps had a strong smell due to the natural oil additive, which is nice on one hand, but may not be enjoyable for some people.

While it was one of the hottest days of the year, there was no a/c to speak of-- a whisp of some tepic air coming out of the vents and a single (in a multiple room suite) portable non vented a/c that put out more heat than cool. At this price point the no a/c is unacceptable. The kitchen and bathroom were adequate but could be more lux.

I guess because it’s on septic system. Breakfast should be included or at least open before 10am. A little pricey…wished we knew about the nice kitchen space. We could have brought coffee and breakfast.

- Kirstie (8/5): A happy two night stay - Host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, great local knowledge and happy to share it. Whole building was very clean and felt very safe. Loads of easy free parking. BBQ area was great and use of bikes was also a fun bonus. Location is in the middle of Sandy Banks and Wellington, both of which were favourites for beaches. Room size was large and the large beds were very comfy. Great selection of TV channels. We had a pleasant 2 night stay :) Being a bit picky as our stay was absolutely fine with no real complaints, but the pull out bed was incredibly uncomfortable and even our smallest child couldn't sleep on it so slept on the sofa instead. Although really large the room felt a bit 'garage' like. Tile ceiling and only one small window. Two doors that were locked but didn't know where they went inside the room. Lack of natural light. No hob, which is fine if you are happy to BBQ like we did but would be a big bonus if it was possible to have one so that you could cook in your self catering room.

- Parth (7/5): Good - So we booked a hotel with a kitchen but there we could not do any cooking as there was no vent and the fire alarm went on. When we talked to the host they were off the view that you could buy food from our shop
