Un petit soucis, dans le descriptif de la chambre c'est écrit vue sur la mer, ce n'est pas vrai, en effet les terrasses sont à prendre le souffle vue sur la mer mais les chambres ne le sont pas, donc si vous voulez une fenêtre sur votre chambre vue sur mer ce n'est pas possible

Une vrai masion d'hote typique si vous voulez profiter pour ralentir et rever de quelque jour exotique dans un petit coin de paradis.

L’accueil n’était pas de tout à la hauteur du l’établissement je ne sais pas qui m’a accueilli ( réceptionniste, femme de ménage) pas chaleureux et très confus pas de de TPE pour payer il faut descendre loin pour retirer de l’argent. J’aurais aimé être averti. Pas de petit déjeuner à importer bien que je l’avais demandé en arrivant. Bref le personnel n’est pas formé pour la partie accueil et hospitality.

• Simona (1/5): Chose a different location - Before booking I liked the location and facilities I arrived at the location and the room that was on my booking was not available. The room was supposed to be with private pool , sea view. The only guy available at the location told me that I can see a different room . Was very bad. Very small room. The sea view was somewhere in the corner of the window. The private pool missing. The smell of mold very strong. The guy from the location called a woman from management ( or something) that did nothing and was also with atitudine. I recived the contact of the owner and I asked to cancel the booking. After 2 days he did it with the reason: NO SHOW. ( a disgusting lie ) Zero professionalism.

No recomiendo llevar - Es un hotel cómodo, ubicada en la parte alta del pueblo, si subes al terrado puedes ver la puesta del sol. El desayuno está bastante bueno y el hotel limpio. Puede que no tenga importancia para algunos pero está junto al cementerio, la ubicación para subir con maletas en un poco pesado, no recomiendo llevar cosas de valor, no tienen caja fuerte y se me perdió un anillo de oro que dejé en la habitación, lo avisé pero se desentendieron.

Posizione confortevole sia per il centro di Sidi Bou Said che per visitare i dintorni. La piscina e la terrazza non rispecchiano esattamente quanto mostrato in foto.

Abbiamo raggiunto Cartagine a piedi senza problemi. La piccola terrazza ha una bellissima vista sul golfo di Tunisi. Shlama è stata meravigliosa. Super disponibile, attenta ad ogni nostra esigenza e sempre gentilissima. Grazie di cuore!
• Mina (8/5): It was clean and had nice equipment. Not recommended to get a room on the ground floor at all. - It was clean and cute. The room was warm. I liked that they put some sweets and tea for the welcome The room was on the ground floor opening right into the courtyard where they serve breakfast. So it was noisy (after 9 am I could not sleep), and it was not possible to open the windows to get a bit of natural light or air because of the privacy. The shower was with an open ceiling and didn't have any ventilation. Also, the wall between the bathroom and the room was not full height so after taking shower the steam was going into the whole room. We even asked for another room but there was no reception, only a person (as a security I guess) who said I don't know. He did not even know English and the communication was through Google Translate.

Il n’était pas loin du marché et de la place touristique principale de sidi bousaid. L’insonorisation avec le bruit entre les chambres et l’extérieur avec le passage des touristes, la présence de bruit régulier dû aux travaux de rénovation à l’extérieur de l’établissement.

• Jérôme (10/5): Très belle demeure, séjour dépaysant et chaleureux - Cet établissement est niché dans une belle maison traditionnelle de Sidi Bou Saïd, une superbe porte peinte en bleue vous y accueille donc. Patio, mosaïque, carrelage, terrasse avec vue sur mer et la ville. Le confort de la chambre vous plonge dans une belle ambiance orientale. Une petite attention particulière et discrète a été très appréciée. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et raffiné. La fleur d’oranger est omniprésente dans l’établissement. Tout est parfait.

• Adnan (5/5): - The location was OK, even though you have to climb up the hill, but it was ok because we are fit. The problem was at first to find it because Noone there from the local people didn't know where it is. The rooms were tidy and the breakfast was great. Nobody in the hotel spoke English, not even a little bit. They throw away all our food that we bought and left in room (like the pizza). The worst was that we had to pay taxes for staying (about 30€) even though we booked through Booking app and the price was not the same as promised.

Allt var perfekt- hade velat bara att de hade en shattafi så vi som ber kan underlätta för oss. De lägger inte vattenflaska i rummet, det trodde jag ingick- fick endast vattenflaska första natten. Vet ej om det var ett miss.

• CLAUDINE (8/5): Une adresse en vue ! - L'emplacement de la maison d'hôtes ainsi que la vue sont exceptionnels. Le coin est calme et reposant . On peut garer sa voiture assez près de l'hôtel dans la mesure où l'hôtesse nous fournit une carte de stationnement. C'est une maison d'hôtes difficile à trouver.Il faudrait des signalisations supplémentaires.
• Palwasha (7/5): Cleaniness aside, it’s overpriced and doesn’t justify the high price tag! - The room itself was very clean including the bathrooms. Loved the terrace view even though it was overlooking a graveyard (which I was already aware of after reading the reviews so wasn’t a big shock). 1. Lack of Basic Amenities: As a Muslim-majority country, I was genuinely surprised to find no water facilities in the toilet, which made things quite inconvenient. Additionally, the bathroom lacked shelves and proper lighting. 2. Language Barrier: While the staff were friendly and eager to help, none of them spoke any English. I understand that Arabic and French are the main languages in Tunisia, but for a hotel catering to international guests, having at least one English speaking staff member is essential. Communication became a real challenge, I often had to rely on Google Translate or gestures and sometimes gave up asking for things altogether. 3. Poor Breakfast: The breakfast offering was very basic, a few cut fruits, toast and lemon juice. 4. Hotel Location: The hotel is located in a steep alley where taxis can’t reach the door. This became a hassle, especially when carrying shopping or luggage. At night, the alley had stray dogs roaming which made us feel unsafe walking back. 5. Inconsistent Wifi: The wifi in the room was unreliable and frequently disconnected, which was frustrating when trying to plan our day or stay connected.

• Sobia (5/5): Beautiful Location, But Disappointing Experience - The property is in a great location, nestled in the charming streets of Sidi Bou Said, and the rooms themselves were comfortable and nicely decorated. However, there are some important things to note. The hotel is located right next to a cemetery which is the first thing you see when you go up to the terrace. Unfortunately, several aspects of our stay fell short. The staff was not very welcoming or helpful, and the customer service overall was lacking. Breakfast was very basic and not up to standard, and the internet connection was unreliable throughout our stay. Considering the price we paid, we expected a much better experience. While the setting has potential, it did not offer good value for money.

Reception staf doesn’t speak English or Arabic, only broke France. No information guide you about hotel. No exit fire. I paid to them 135 pounds only more then price a one night. I go booked another hotel in city Tunis near Habib Bourguiba. I will recommend you anyone don’t go please.

• Mirella (7/5): Good - The hotel is pretty and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. However, the room was quite small and not very well isolated. Because of this it was pretty cold when it was windy. Our room had a view over the cemetery, which is not a big deal but did make the atmosphere a bit less good. Staff was very friendly.

It was located at the highest point in the city, so it was nice to be able to see all the way to the ocean from the rooftop. Breakfast was also delicious. I stayed for 2 consecutive nights, but the room was not cleaned or towels changed during that time. Even if there were house rules, there was no explanation of them. (After I noticed that, I asked for a change of towels and they prepared them.)

• Burcum (4/5): Dissapointing - Stuff was friendly but I only went there to have breajfast with my colleagues because I couldnt stay there although they confirmed my stay till the kast minute then said they didnt have room for me They kept me uninformed till last minute that there was no toom there for me. It looked they reserved a room for me but said they were out of room when I eas there at the reception. When I asked how this could be possible they said this wasa oroblem booking.com caused.
