The kitchenettes are super well equipped, the beds are comfy and there are some good eating options close by, plus a really exceptional free hot breakfast. But the most amazing part of our stay was the staff, who really made it feel like home (including helping with a midnight dinner after a late arrival, finding an adjacent room for an impromptu slumber party with grandkids, lending supplies for crafts, and teaching a 5yo how to make waffles!) I have truly never stayed anywhere in many years of travel where everyone was so generous, kind, and genuinely interested in their guests and making sure they had everything they needed. Thank you Sabrina and crew, I am so grateful and will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

• Deborah (10/5): Friendly service and comfort - This gem of a hotel is perfect for short stays or longer. The hotel is pet friendly which we needed. Despite being in a pet friendly room, there was no evidence of pet hair or smell. The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and we appreciated our room having two exits- one to the interior to the hotel and one to the laneway so we could easily take our dog in and out of the room. We were pleasantly surprised that the free breakfast included hot items such as sausages, scrambled eggs, and omelettes as well as a waffle machine. We would have been just as happy with the included cereal, yogurt, fruit and pastries offered. This was my second visit to Guest House Inn and it won't be my last.

Room was big and clean, like the fact there is an alarm on the door that tells you when it’s not closed all the way, nice location in town, only downside was kept having problems with the internet, will definitely stay here again

We had a large Motorcycle group (20 guys) doing a road trip and this place treated us all like gold they were so friendly and quik upon check in, rooms were great! Was quiet during the nite, comfortable beds, clean rooms. We were all tremendously impressed and all really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much for a great stay!!! It was a 10/10 for everything and all staff were exceptional!!! Will definitely be staying here for and future stays in Edson. 10 outta 10 highly recommended this place!!!!
• Daniel Kurt Staples (7/5): Ok I guess - Beds were comfortable and bathroom was excellent. Room was quiet and AC worked great. The staff were beyond awesome and the breakfast was far better than expected or hoped. Our room was clean. It is clearly used as a crew hotel for the oil field. Hallways, lobby and stairs were absolutely filthy. People smoking pot outside our room made it almost impossible to stand the smell.

Compared to a recent overpriced air bnb that I stayed at, this renovated and well kept inn is without a doubt comparatively more economical with all the amenities in tip top condition and more. The reception was very warm and the area is well maintained and spacious offering free snacks, fruit, and beverages as well as a free breakfast. Bonus is the accommodation of pets for a small fee. My golden doodle showed no signs of nervousness due to the calm and quiet atmosphere. Many good restaurants and a big chain grocery store is only a few steps away. Would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and would not hesitate to rebook in future visits to Edson.

• Andy (6/5): - I enjoy staying in the kitchette units. Find they are very clean. The front counter staff especially April are very welcoming and helpful. My most recent stay was not the greatest although due to the condition of the parking lot. It is hard to keep on top of with all the freeze and thaw that we have been going through but the parking lot and the walkways were absolutely treacherous. I slipped and fell on the ice and sustained multiple bruises and needed medical care for my shoulder (x-rays, sling, perscriptions and upcoming MRI). The girls at counter helped in anyway they could wich was fantastic but never once did management even so much as reach out to see if i was ok or offer any assistance. I wasnt looking to be comped for my stay or anything like that but some communication from management would have been appreciated. Very disappointed in the management of the facilties for that and the condition of the parking lot. May never return for those reasons alone.

The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and even asked if I wanted to move into the main building as opposed to the one across the parking lot. If you're picky or looking for something fancy, I'd say pass. But if you just want a comfy, clean place with a breakfast and lovely staff this is for you!
