Staff were very friendly Room was a little small - for example there wasnt enough space between the sofa and the bed and the placement was a little odd and only two sets of cutlery, plates etc provided which I understand why but might be nice to have more of especially cutlery

- Christian (9/5): - Sehr schönes Motel mit gehobener Ausstattung unweit von Coromandel Zentrum. Das Motel eignet sich um die Gegend zu erkunden oder einfach um zu relaxen. Unser Gastgeber hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

- Rony (8/5): - החדר הייה סך הכל בסדר אך האיש שקבל אותנו הייה כאוס ולא נחמד כאשר שאלתי אותו איפה יש מכונת כביסה ומייבש הוא אמר שזה בתשלום וכאשר אמרתי לו שזה לא נכון הוא כעס ואמר אבל לא כתוב שזה בחינם וכאשר הוכחתי לא שזה לא נכון הוא כעס והוציא בצורה לא יפה כסף מהקופה שלו ואמר לי כך ולך תכבס כמובן שאמרתי לו שאי לא מבקש נדבות וכמובן שלא לקחתי את הכסף אמרתי תודה לך על התנהגות גסה והלכתי ועוד דבר לא מדוייק בהזמנה שכתוב שייש חלונות עם בידוד כפול ואין ולי זה דבר חשוב סך הכל החדר הייה בסדר חוץ מהתקלות האלה אולי כדאי שישימו אדם אחר בקבלה שיודע לעבוד עם ציבור

David the owner was very helpful and works very hard to keep everything tip top. Not a dislike, just an error on B…com, washing machine and tumble dryer are in a separate room next to the Office, which is actually much better.

- Rewa (10/5): - After a week travelling through Northland, we found that David and Olive Motel was the best of all. Having the owner on site is a big plus too. David gave us the best advice re dinner and breakfast dining options. The motel was extremely clean, modern,conveniently situated, plus, and this is a big one, the shower did not leak water on the floor!! Very impressed - and made Coromandel a delight to stay at. Thank you.

- Mohamadali (6/5): - The owner assigned our unit parking spot to another guest when we were out of motel. When we inquired about it, he responded angrily, telling me to find another place to park. I decided to leave the motel as I felt uneasy. I checked out of the motel a day early, even though I had paid for an extra night. I did not request a refund. Additionally, there was no soap or shampoo in the motel. It is highly overrated and overpriced. I will not return there.

The quality of the room was outstanding and the bathroom was great. Little touches like the outdoor cushions made it very welcoming. The owner was very accommodating and gave great recommendations on where to eat.

There's a possibility to do laundry and parking is available as well as an EV charger. Location is good and there are cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Great 1st impression on arrival with quality, clean buildings & car park. Warm welcome by David and helpful services answering questions, & resetting the internet for us. The room was in mint condition, very clean and very well built & maintained with high quality finishes. After all of that you come to the best bit - the linen, pillows & beds. So very high quality & comfortable you don't want to get up. A wonderful weekend stay, Thank you David & family.

One bedroom unit is not suitable for 4 individual adults. Three single beds in lounge left very little space for guests movement. Owner checking on number of guests using the room was rude embarrassing for seniors being told on arrival that the 5th guest was staying across the road because he refused to accommodate in a separate unit
