- Yana (8/5): Лампочку пора менять - Пора уже обновить ремонт! Особенно ковры или хотя бы пылесосить их! Бегать в другой отель за ключами чтобы заселиться и второй раз чтобы выселиться - очень неудобно.
- Hin Cheong (8/5): 一間不錯的旅館 - 整體都可以，但要行3層樓梯，對著大街的房比較嘈，因大街有樂隊表演，深夜都不停！但服務員很好人，時有幫忙！
- Verified traveler (8/5): - "Non giudicare un libro dalla copertina!" + Posizione centrale fantastica. La camera (quella della foto - suite con 2 grandi stanze comunicanti affacciate sulla Prospettiva Nievsky) era ottima. Bagno spazioso. Il personale gentile. - L'impatto che si ha appena arrivati (la copertina!) è a dir poco deludente. L'hotel è un appartamento al 3° piano senza ascensore (NB se avete bagagli pesanti) di un vecchio palazzo che avrebbe bisogno di una DECISA ristrutturazione. Una volta entrati nel cortile interno del n 23 è difficile da trovare (entrando 2 scala a sinistra) L'unica insegna è un mini cartoncino 10x10 sul portone (suonare per farsi aprire). Attenzione l'insegna luminosa Hotel che si vede nel cortile è di un altro albergo (appartamento al 2° piano) il cui personale (molto gentile e disponibile) non conosceva l'esistenza dell'hotel Abajour: momento di panico quando lo abbiamo scoperto. Comunque visto che ritengo che la cosa più importante sia la camera il giudizio è complessivamente positivo.

- Wendy (6/5): - Our given room was much smaller than the picture shown. There was no fridge in our bedroom. We were allowed to use the mini hotel fridge. The picture on the website was not the room that we got. Hotel location is excellent, but noisy from the street. The staffs were very helpful, but need translator app.
- CHI HANG (8/5): - The hotel is difficult to find, i spend around half an hour to find it, and it doesn't have the elevator. Also you can heard many footsteps from the upper floor and next room at evening. But the room is clean and location is good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, smack in the middle of Nevsky Prospekt. Clean facilities, though I feel like the bathroom has a problem common to budget properties in that sometimes you can smell the "sewage reflux" from the drain. Staff are kind but speak limited English, so Google Translate comes in handy. I got unlucky in being stuck with the unit right next to the entrance door, from which you can hear everyone going in and out. The triple gate system (one big keypad exterior gate to the courtyard, one keypad door to the building, and a doorbell entrance to the unit with the property itself) can be a bit of a hassle, but at least you know your stuff is secure. The unit I was in also had issues in that on occasion, I'd hear constant dripping/creaking noises in the wall.
- Susa (10/5): - Die Leute im Hotel waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und total nett. Weil keiner mehr als ein paar Worte Englisch spricht war google translate (als App runterladen, geht dann auch offline) sehr hilfreich. Das Hotel liegt im Hinterhof links. Für das Tor zur Strasse braucht man nachts einen Code, den muss man bei später Ankunft telefonisch erfragen. Hierfür am besten jemanden beauftragen der Russisch spricht. :) Die Tür zum Haus selbst wird auf Klingeln geöffnet, die Rezeption ist immer besetzt. Das Hotel ist im dritten Stock ohne Aufzug. Unser Zimmer lag zum Hof hin, leise war es wegen Barmusik und Klimaanlagen aber nie. Die Lage ist allerdings sehr zentral, von daher waren wir darauf eingestellt. Die Matratzen waren gut, das Frühstück ausreichend und typisch russisch (Porridge, Joghurt, Würstchen mit Mayo unf Ketchip, Toast, Marmelade, Käse...) und günstig. Es wird auf dem Zimmer serviert. Rund um die Uhr kann man den Wasserkocher, Tee und Kaffee benutzen die im Flur bereitstehen. Das Wlan war kostenlos und schnell. Taxi zum Flughafen haben uns die Damen von der Rezeption auch organisiert. Der Transfer kostete 1000Rubel und dauerte ca 30 Minuten.
- Natasha (10/5): Excellent stay - Right in the city center, 600 meters from the Hermitage. Both rooms are lovely, very clean and with everything you need (tv, fridge, etc.). Would definitely come back here.
- Anna (8/5): Мы довольны - Отличное местоположение, приветливый персонал. Постельное белье чистое, много полотенец, есть одноразовые тапочки и мыльные принадлежности. Из минусов - летом очень шумно, если открыть окна и нужно подниматься на третий этаж. Т.е. Для пожилых и инвалидов не вариант. Отдельная благодарность менеджерам, встретили ночью, напоили чаем, вещи до вечера оставляли в отеле.

- Ann (10/5): Good location - Close to metro, on a main street, easy access to everything. The staff goes above and beyond to assist you. The hotel is on the second floor and isn't very large of course, but the pros outweigh the cons. Breakfast is also made available so you can enjoy it in your room.
- Withaya (10/5): Excellent, More than expected. - Very convenience location, close to many tourist attractions within walking distance and metro train to other places. The suite room we booked have 2 big separated bedroom with big windows to watch the passerby on the street in the evening light. We enjoy lot and lot of shopping stores along the street and coffee shops. There's even a refrigerator in the room which we keep our grocery bough from the supermarket. Near the reception desk we can make coffee and tea with snack free of charge. The receptionist on each day are very friendly and helpful even though they do not speak English. We would highly recommend to any travelers with more than 2 person to book this suite room. Be warn, there is no lift and you have to walk to the 3rd floor with your luggage. However, it does give a very warm feeling living like the local people.
- Florent (8/5): Rapport qualité/prix imbatable - Hôtel local visiblement typique. Ancien logement soviétique transformé. Propre, rapport qualité/prix à notre avis imbatable vu la localisation en plein centre ville et à 5mn du métro. Léger bémol sur la cour d'accès et la cage d'escalier qui inquiéte de prime à bord. C'est du local ont vous dit. Le personnel ne parle bien sur, pas français et peu l'anglais. Mais reste très accueillant tout de même. Petit déj local (saucisse, fromage thé etc). Par contre comme nous avons choisis la suite et non une chambre classique, sachez quelle donne sur l'avenue Nevski et c'est très bruyant le WE (run auto-moto lol).
- TAMCO (6/5): エルミタージュにも駅にも近い小さなホテル - 観光地や繁華街に近くてとても便利。 部屋は清潔で気持ちいい（エアコンはない）。冷蔵庫は共有だが、ミネラルウォーターは飲み放題。 従業員は人柄はいいが、ほとんど英語が話せないので、スマートフォンでトランスレートして意志疎通するしかない。 入口には看板等がなく、ドアもオートロックなので、事前に連絡できていないと入り方がわからないので注意が必要。
- Alexander (10/5): - We stayed in the "lux" apartment: two rooms in it, a huge bed in each, plus an unfolding sofa in the larger room. I am leaving a five-star rating with no hesitation.
- David (6/5): Guest house for comrades - The guest house is up 5 flights no elevator. Located in a courtyard off Nevsky prospect. Its in a Soviet era converted apartment. The day concierge is moody and not very nice. The night concierge was delightful and very helpful. Sheets coarse linen but clean. En suite bathroom clean and functional with good hot water. No HVAC.
