- Noah (1/5): I was treated like I did not belong. - Honestly not much. Maybe that we were able to rent out beach chairs to get away. The valet staff was also friendly but we were not planning to valet but due to the discomfort from the front desk we did not want anymore interaction with the staff and let things be. Thankfully the valet staff was friendly and neutral during pickup and drop off. The miscommunication and the run around we got the day of check in was triggering. The way the staff, specifically Theresa treated me ruined my whole trip and this was a birthday trip where I hoped to get spa treatment and dine at the hotel with beach view. None of that happened because the stay was uncomfortable for me but thankfully my fiancé was able to emotionally step in and we were able to prioritize the kids and their comfort.

As a member, I enjoy discounts on rooms, the restaurant, spa services, and so much more. The membership also includes valet parking and full access to the fitness facilities, spa, and pool, which makes every visit feel like a true retreat. For me personally, Club Blue has become something even more meaningful. My late husband purchased the membership for me two years ago, and after he passed away last year, the entire staff has truly become like family. I’m always greeted with warm hellos and even hugs for me and my special needs son. Their kindness and care mean more than I can express. The Club Blue offerings feel like a real VIP experience, with wonderful special events thoughtfully created by Director Emily, who always leads with a smile and genuine care. Cheers and heartfelt thanks to the entire team. ❣️
- modernmariah (10/5): Super dog friendly - Had another wonderful stay at Pasea! The staff there is top tier! Everyone is so nice and this time I brought my dog! They had treats for my girl every time they saw her, everyone remembered her name and they have a little dog park for potty breaks making it so easy! We loved our stay and I will definitely be bringing her back as they make it so easy!

And even though the hotel serves only Coke products, he kept me stocked with Diet Pepsi throughout the conference. He was awesome!! The ladies that cleaned the downstairs bathroom were friendly and hardworking! My room was super well taken care of. And the service staff for all the meals onsite were terrific.

I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. The service I received from Liza, the moment I stepped in the door was unparalleled. She truly is an asset to the team. Yet my experience didn’t stop there. From the spectacular view point of the room, to the food in the restaurant and the bar up top, this was a stay unmatched. Shelby was hands down one of the best servers I have ever had. She didn’t once make anyone feel as if the were a customer, but more like a friend out to dinner that she was assisting. Whoever is running this place clearly has found some incredible people to conduct business in an incredible manner. I’ve already booked my upcoming stays again from Marriott over to Pasea!

The entire staff there is beyond sweet, and very accommodating. The relaxation room is peaceful and calm and the outside garden is perfect to enjoy and order some lunch from room service. It’s located right next to access to the beach, shops, and countless restaurants and coffee shops. One of the standout things about this hotel is how helpful and friendly the staff is. Like genuinely kind and warm and always so helpful. From the front desk, spa, coffee shop, house keeping and room service the staff is the best we’ve ever come across. They went out of their way to make my daughter’s birthday really special. Jesus from room service even brought her a stuffed animal that she loved. So thoughtful.

We decided last minute to go for a "fancier" hotel then we can normally afford, and we were blown away from the moment we pulled up. The property is gorgeous and delightful at every return. And the customer service was beyond top-notch. Clay helped us get checked in at the front desk and even gave us a free upgrade to our room when he found out we were celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary and were visiting from Oregon. His impeccable customer service and attention to detail, as well as humor, was foreshadowing for our entire experience there. We enjoyed the gorgeous ocean views from our room, cocktails at the rooftop bar, as well as dinner and live music at the attached restaurant later on. And then enjoyed the pool and hot tub that night and again the next day. I cannot recommend Paséa enough to do it justice. If you are reading this review and still on the fence… Just book it! I promise you will not regret it!

- B (5/5): Great front staff. Amenities and basics need a lot of work. - The location was great and the decor was beautiful. The front desk employees and valets were very nice and very fast. It was very clean. Really slow service at the pool side bar. The bar seemed to forget about our orders regularly. We didn't order much because it was just too difficult to get our drinks and food. We had to keep going back to follow up on what we ordered. The guy who took our orders didn't write anything down so he had to come back repeatedly to ask us what we ordered again. The blackout curtains don't actually black out the light. It was very bright in our room by 6:00 in the morning. They had construction to set up a giant tent at 6:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning, just big metal poles being banged together right outside our room. This was hotel construction. Not something off site that they couldn't control. Some things in the room just didn't make any sense. For example, the only place to hang a towel in the entire bathroom was right in front of the light switches. It's a beach location. There is nowhere to hang anything to dry besides the solitary hook that blocked the light switches if you used it. The shower enclosure is glass floor to ceiling. There's not even hooks inside of the shower, so if you use a rag there's nowhere to put it. Tried to use the free bikes and they were rusted beyond use. We just handed them back. Gave up on the resort style amenities after that.

- mio221 (2/5): Overnight Unpleasant Stay - Stayed for one night at a one bedroom suite #536. The only good thing about the experience is location. We had three adults in our party including my son. We were told prior to booking that there's a comfortable sofa bed. Total price $1746 per night - not a big deal if we DID NOT have the following issues: King size bed was lumpy Sofa bed had springs sticking out of mattress itself Soiled sheets with some kind of brown stains Carpet was dirty Noise level = 10 due to Treehouse bar Housekeeping = lazy IRD = limited to basic mediocre menu without access to Lorea unless you go downstairs and order from the bar and wait for the food. Night duty front desk Rhondi or Ronnie (sp?) = full of sarcasm. When I asked for her name, she answered, "yes I'm Rhondi, I've been speaking to you all day, remember?" This overnight stay was a disaster. My son wanted to Uber back home at 2AM. He did not sleep at all. And had bruises on his back due to mattress issues. Cami was nice and so as this gentleman who treated my dog much better than How Rhondi treated us.

This hotel is incredible for families and gave them everything to do while I was in a conference there (ps the conference space is GORGEOUS - ocean view!) The pool is super family friendly but also has a bar away from the kids pool if you’re wanting that too. You can walk to literally anything, you don’t have to leave! Our corner room was beautiful overlooking the ocean (sunset side) in one direction and neighborhoods (sunrise side) in the other. I could go on and on about the hotel, but I am on here to share that three staff members were beyond incredible! When we arrived, PETER came straight to our car and helped my husband get everything out. He walked back in while I was in line to check in and addressed me and my family by our names, and was so helpful brining everything to the room, ordering us an extra fridge and some other things we needed. Throughout the stay, he continued to address us by our names and always checked in if we needed anything. At one point I had to pop out of my conference to switch my keys - he even offered to run the new keys out to my family at the pool so I could go back quickly to the conference. He’s seriously the most helpful person we’ve ever met. He deserves 500 stars on this review! He was off on our last day so we didn’t get a chance to say - Thank you, Peter!!! I also wanted to share that our Events Manager Anka was so incredible during the conference. He was beyond helpful and went above and beyond for our group’s needs, always checking in! Thank you, Anka!!! Our group utilized the spa as well and it was an absolute pleasure to work with the new Spa Director, Amanda. She was so attentive to our group’s needs in the spa and communicated with us from the moment she landed in her new role to work with us!! Thank you, Amanda!!! Would a thousand percent stay here again, go back to the gorgeous spa, eat and the restaurant and hopefully host a conference here again as well!! Incredible customer service from check-in to check-out. Excellent stay!

The television in our room would turn on and off on its own which kept us up all night. It would turn on by itself, change channels and the volume would go up. The remote was no where near us. - DipenP17 (10/5): Stunning Views and Great Location at Paséa Hotel & Spa - We recently returned from a mini-Christmas vacation in California. My wife wanted to stay near the beach, so we selected the Paséa Hotel & Spa. The location is perfect—it sits parallel to the beach and is just steps away from the shops and restaurants at Huntington Beach. What I really liked about the hotel was proximity to the pacific City Mall, and lots of great restaurants nearby. All the staff at the Paséa were really nice and friendly and we didn't have any issues at all. We didn't try out the in-house restaurant as there were a lot of choices outside, but we did try out the Blend coffee shop and their lattes and pastries were yummy! The rooms were big, 2 full beds, and really large bathroom, we loved the large windows and the large sliding door. We kept that open for a while to get in some fresh air. The views from the balcony were outstanding, on the left-hand side we could see the Pacific Ocean and on the right-hand side and the majestic snowcapped mountains! We had a peaceful and wonderful time at the Hotel, and next time we really want to come in the Summer and enjoy the beach.

Every staff member we came in contact with was smiling and greeting with a warm "hello" "how is your stay"?. The coffee shop has the absolute best coffee, my husband actually drank more lattes than normal )haha). Rooms are super comfortable and relaxing, it was nice to leave our slider door open for some of the cool California weather. BEST location in Huntington Beach, walkable to everything! This hotel and the staff pay attention to details, you can visually see how amazing and clean the property looks in addition to how well they train staff members. Thank you for everything!

Our company was in Huntington Beach for a Christmas event and a day at Disney, and we hosted a drinks-and-dinner event at the Pasea Hotel. We also had over 80 people from our group staying at the hotel. While the location, cleanliness, and rooms were perfectly fine, the attitude of several staff members was deeply disappointing. Multiple interactions with front desk personnel, bartenders, and waitstaff were marked by rudeness, dismissiveness, and an apparent lack of respect for guests. The level of contempt and indifference we experienced was noticeable and uncomfortable. In decades of travel, I have never encountered a hotel where so many employees across different departments displayed such poor customer service. Hospitality is about how guests are treated, and unfortunately that is where this property fell short.

I just wanted to say every staff member I spoke with was insanely nice and accommodating and just nice to speak with. The valley team was so friendly and nice to talk to, opened my door and my wife’s door offered to help her out of the truck but I did so I thank them for that! When we left brought my truck up so fast even moving vehicles to get my truck to me within 2 minutes of giving the ticket!!! They ran to the other cars moved them and got my truck to me asap….. most valet ask you to wait because they have to move vehicles and they didn’t they said right away and ran to move them and get my truck. I have a big truck so it’s hard to move sometimes but they did it flawlessly. I will be back because of this service and take my wife to a spa day soon!!! Thank you staff for making me night the best it could be… this may seem small and some would say of course they do this but a lot of hotels don’t and that why I am writing this. I was so impressed by every member of the staff to leave a comment and a good one at that!!! Thank you all again and we will be back!

- 151ccg (10/5): Staycation of Vacation - this is it! - There’s so much to break down here so I’ll do my best. Location: thoughtfully located in Huntington Beach, and right next to food and shopping. Most importantly the beach. You’re a walk away from all things! Parking, I used valet and did not necessarily have to find parking. My experience with valet was a 10/10. The hotel itself is super lovely it’s Christmas time so quite literally all the things you can imagine, trees decor, breakfast with Santa you name it. Super cute! We used the gym, it was one of the nicest hotel gyms I’ve ever been to. The stair master was down this was literally the only downside to nearly anything about this hotel (will not affect my overall score). The cleanliness of this hotel is a 10/10. Room service was phenomenal I came back to my room and they quite literally super organized and not in the touch all our stuff kind of way all my hair tools were nice and tidy. I really appreciated that. This hotel was an 11/10, whether you’re trying to have a staycation or a vacation and literally relax and venture. You’re going to relax and unwind and have loads of things nearby to do and eat and shop!

The festive "speakeasy" is so fun, with creative season-inspired cocktails and decor. The bartender, Matthew, was so friendly and made everything amazing. 10/10 highly recommend for all the holiday vibes.
