She greets guests with a smile and ensures that their questions are answered and needs are met. I’ve had the pleasure of watching her as she welcomes and checks in guests, most always leaving them feeling they are special. I leave the hotel for work early in the morning and see her quite frequently, always eager to engage me with friendly banter as she makes sure that my stay measures up to the Hilton standard and that my expectations have been satisfied. She stays busy ensuring that hot coffee is always available as she assists guests with various requests from blankets to clothes hangers, and the occasional roll of toilet paper. My long stay here is coming to an end I know that I will miss the pleasant experience she is gifted to share with others.

- Beckand5 (10/5): The nicest we’ve stayed in - We’ve stayed in Hampton Inns and other Hilton hotels all over San Antonio because we visit our daughter often. This hotel is a bit further away from the Riverwalk (maybe 10 minutes if that), but if you don’t mind that it’s perfect! It is by far the cleanest we’ve stayed in and the free parking is such a bonus. We’ll definitely be back!

My family booked a room here during the summer on our way to Padre island and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel and the attentiveness of the staff. So on a quick trip back to the island for thanksgiving, we booked here again. We were hopeful to have the same great experience and to our surprise it was even better! Our room was large and clean, the morning breakfast was amazing……banana nut bread waffles for the win! I will continue to book with this extremely well run hotel for any trips my family makes through San Antonio! Sean G

Inside wasn’t much better — the walls had visible stains, and the overall cleanliness was lacking. The elevator smelled strongly of urine, which was extremely off-putting, and the AC controller unit in my room wasn’t working properly. For a hotel brand that typically promises comfort and quality, this experience fell far short. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this,

- William (10/5): Family trip - Staff was very helpful with helping me get joining rooms, showed up at 3:15 and by 4:30 they had our rooms ready due to the change of rooms needed to be cleaned still, which we didn’t mind the wait, When we walked in the rooms where very hot, the hallways where not air conditioned, I’m guessing when they clean the rooms all the cold air comes out thru the door into the hallway, our room finally got comfortably cold later in the middle of the night, the following morning the temp was perfect, The suction vent in the bathroom doesn’t work, so the bathroom fills up with hot air and none of the steam from the bathroom gets sucked out, Mini fridge and nine kitchen sink is nice, especially when you have a 1 year old to take care of, Breakfast was pretty good, well taken cared of and filled when needed, very clean, the staff constantly kept it clean and tended to guests

We drive down from Dallas so my daughter could attend a concert so we only stayed over night our room was on the 4th floor as soon as I stepped off the elevator wet dog smell hit us in the face so we hurried to our room so she can get ready to go room smelled of dogs, had to clean the shower before taking one. Floors are sticky. And they’re small insects on the walls. If we were staying in San Antonio longer than over night I would’ve asked for a refund and found another hotel.

- Noemi (5/5): Disappointing stay this time around. - Breakfast was okay. The “make your own” waffles were the only decent thing. I originally reserved a two bed/queen room for my family. We were moved into a one bed/king with sleeper sofa because of other groups for Springbreak. Even though I reserved ahead of time, we were still given a totally different room. The quality of the sleeper sofa was not good. There was not additional blankets provided, they had to be requested. And even then, we were expected to pickup the blankets from the desk. The bathroom sink was leaking water. And the elevators weren’t working properly. It was a hassle to go downstairs every time we needed to go somewhere. This time around, our stay was disappointing.

There was a considerable amount of mold in the shower area and melted candle like substance on floor by toilet. The shower head was not adjustable either. The drain cover in the shower pan came loose and there was large quantity of mold. Shower slider doors were put in backwards so water leaked out.

Turns out, they just marked as a no show. The staff i spoke with made a note in the pass down and told the oncoming staff to check me in prior to midnight.

It’s close to my family, which is the reason why I stay the - Location, great breakfast, excellent staff and overall well lit and felt safe. The only negative thing I have about the property is that I woke up and had little what I believe are bite marks on my body from maybe bedbugs, although cannot confirm.
- Edward (10/5): Best Hampton so Far - This hotel was rereferred to me by a co-worker who makes as many field sites as I do. I am very skeptical about places I stay because sometimes people go by just the name but that does not mean they are the best. This was different, they met all aspects of a stay at a hotel by Hampton. Clean room great lighted area and located by all sorts of restaurants and stores.
- Dan (2/5): Disappointed in the management - I had booked this hotel and then had delayed flights. I contacted the hotel to let them know I would be late, but still needed the room. Flights were delayed 2 more times and each time I notified the hotel. I told them I was fine with being charged for the night even though I wasn’t there but needed the room and was told it was no problem. When I arrived in the morning, I went to check in and the manager said they put me as a ‘no show’ and gave up my room and had no more rooms. The employee I spoke with was standing there and confirmed I called in, the manager said I was a no show and they had no more rooms so I would have to go elsewhere. Disappointed in this hotel/ manager is an understatement.

Nothing was missing in any of the rooms. The breakfasts that our family enjoyed. The food was fresh and the area clean. There were many food choices for all. The evening front desk was amazing. When we asked about hot water, she promptly filled the water up. No issues with customer service. You can tell that the owners took pride in their hotels!

- Shahir (6/5): Good - Clean In first day they did change our bedsheets and towels but on day 2 we asked the housekeeping lady to change bedsheets and towels she just did towels and the bedsheets were not changed
