Guest Reviews
- Wilkerson (10/5): I will stay again - The property was clean Everything was great
- Brown (1/5): Chaotic! - They apparently rent rooms to the after party group on Friday and Saturday nights and do not control the situation. They are literally up all night partying, fighting along with threats of shooting each other. Very scary, no sleeping on those nights. Will not book there again
- Alysse (2/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful The room was disgusting. I didn’t even want to sleep on the bed
- Yurik (1/5): -
- Anke (5/5): -
- Lora (1/5): Not worth it - The guy was nice at check in The carpet was stained and very old and gross. The room was dirty and smelled badly. There was a fingernail under the covers.
- Amy (1/5): -
- sreten (6/5): -
- Stratton (8/5): I've stayed there couple times within the last month, I'd stay again. And will within the next week. - Honestly really can't complain. Only complaint...more pillows. Extra cover? Maybe?
Over all I was comfortable and it was pleasant stay. For the price and the location. Really couldn't be better. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I'm down there
- Samantha (5/5): - The water never warmed up so yay cold showers. Very minimal breakfast
Cereal instant coffee and mini muffins
- Shonta (5/5): -
- Micaela SPAPPERI (1/5): .Muy sucio - La ubicacion Estaba sucio, mucho olor a cigarrillo, una cucaracha en el baño, el piso muy sucio,
- Grossman (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Gloria and Scott (5/5): Dirty bathroom - Bed Dirty bathroom, vents, bathroom floor corners, shower walls!, baseboard ledges, faucets. Doesn't look professionally cleaned. Cobweb above bed.
- Jc (6/5): Awesome - Great Okay
- Margaret (4/5): - The staff was very kind. The location was good. The room we were given needed much improvement. The bathroom needs serious attention. The shower floor is mostly even with the bathroom floor which floods from the shower. It was very dangerous. We had to use all our towels on the floor to prevent falling.
- Tinzie (9/5): -
- Jc (5/5): Okay - Willness to help Okay
- Samantha870 (4/5): -
- Wayne (8/5): - It was very quiet

- susan (6/5): Close and cost effective - Did not get the breakfast. Was told it was coffee juice cereal muffins. Room was large. Walls are a bit thin. Could here neighbor snoring. Good thing heater kicked on. Lol. Could use a bit of maintenance. Bed was comfortable.
- Jc (6/5): Enjoyable - Awesome Everything was smooth
- Jc (7/5): Readiness to accommodate - Great Like everything
- Silas (7/5): -
- Adrianna (8/5): -
- Marnecia (2/5): -
- Kelli-Ann (6/5): - It was a surprisingly quiet spot even though it’s next to a liquor store. Your beds faintly smelt like tobacco. The shower head in the wall needs fixing and didn’t have much hot water at all.
- David (7/5): - Convince to everything Musty smell in room.
- Edwin (8/5): - Good deal for the money
- Tanasha (5/5): -
- Marshall (8/5): - Great staff and owner
- Reatha (1/5): Was not pleased with room or location - Staff was nice Room smelled awful. Bed covers had stains. Chair in room also had stains. Smoke detector was covered up with black tape. Could not adjust shower head and water was getting on floor. People started working loudly outside early in the morning that woke me up.
- Sallie (10/5): - The rooms need painting land bed squeatk but it was a very clean ry
- Randy (7/5): - Large room Outside of building unkempt
- Jc (7/5): Over all awesome - Cleanest Some tenants to loud
- James (2/5): - The pot hole at the entrance to the hotel’s parking lot felt like it would almost swallow my Truck. The entrance door to the room had a gap around it, so bad that we put a chair in front of the door. The smell from whatever they used to clean the room was so overwhelming that we left at 0400 in the morning. The pictures showed on this site for the hotel does not look like that now. I believe the
picture was taken before the hotel was sold to current owners. The hotel looks nothing like it is portrayed in the photos on Expedia.
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Brown (10/5): - Quiet, clean and very well maintained.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor stay - Condition of the room was horrible. Front door jam looked like the door had been kicked in. Walls had been damaged and severely scratched. Shower rod had been pulled from the wall, replaced but not finished out. The small clothes’ rack was damaged. Overall, I was really disappointed with how this place had been represented.
- Toby (8/5): I was able to get a restful night of sleep - nothing fancy. - I liked that I could park the car right next to my hotel room. This makes it easier to move items in and out, as well as keep an eye on my car. Floor was sticky, but probably just my room and it was so late when I checked in, didn't give them an opportunity to resolve the issue. Just bring your house slippers or wear socks. Not a biggie.
- Timishea (8/5): - Tubs were filthy
- Jc (1/5): Nice - Security Homey feeling
- Jc (5/5): -
- Barbara (6/5): - Weird, sketchy area. The guy is never at the front desk. Breakfast isn’t much.
- Larry (3/5): - Price Tv outlet was no good
Bugs in bathroom
Bed squeaky
AC unit too noisy
- Dale (8/5): - Great service 👏 👍!!!!
- Ivan (5/5): -
- Brandi (8/5): - There was a roach on one of the bath towels. The hotel wasn't bad at all and I didn't notice the roach until the next morning. Just wanted to warn others.
- Dale (10/5): - Very quiet accept for night
- Dale (8/5): - Great
- Julia (4/5): - A little outdated and breakfast is very very basic
- Allen (3/5): - Nothing My room was in a corner, under a very dark staircase.
- Samantha (2/5): - Bugs everywhere. Room was hot and dirty. Limited pillows/ towels. no desk chair for desk.
- Stephen (5/5): Passable - Good location and mostly clean There were a lot of mosquitoes trapped in my room, and I was bitten a few times. Dont know if they were coming in through the AC or a cracked door.
- Donna (1/5): Bad - Nothing Very dirty, with smoke smell in the rooms and tape over the smoke detectors, etc. Awful, we ended up leaving and finding a different motel.
- john (10/5): Great value - Clean, quiet, cheap
- Patrick (6/5): Pleasant -
- ELIZABETH (2/5): - ROOM WAS BAD, WATER ALL OVER THE FLOOR / ROOM STUNK
- Habibur (6/5): Pleasant - Mosquitoes
- Verified traveler (4/5): Economy stay, not ideal for women or children - Room was in disrepair and barely wiped down. I had to use my own wipes on surfaces as I had small children with me. Sheets were clean and no sign of bugs but only two thin pillows per bed. A single man probably wouldn't mind but I wish I had known how dirty the room was because I never would have booked for my family. Shower had hair in it and no stopper. Hairdryer was broken. Carpet and ironing board were terribly stained. Front desk staff was very welcoming and informative but the room was in very bad shape.
- Dale (10/5): - I liked the location!!
- Vanesa (8/5): Staying on the road - The property is clean and it seemed renovated. The lady at the front desk in the evening was very polite and helpful. Entering the parking there are a lot of potholes.
- Nichole (6/5): Pleasant -
- Neri (8/5): Very good -
- shirleydQ707FJ (2/5): If you looking for comfort and luxury keep them moving because that is not the place to be - This was a bad Hotel the first night we was there my sister a nd I had to clean up the room because it was so dusty and morning we got up my nephew came into the room he looks on the side of the wall he saw a big cockroach crawling ,,the bathroom shower curtain would even hold against the tub the the magnet in the curtains was worn out I asked to put up another one they change they did my sister said what is wrong with this shower curtain the waterust going all over the floor I told her the Magnus is not working and vents in the bathroom had so much black lint coming ou of it. t had a smell in it we had to go buy stuff to spray the room and ordinary to stay in there I had no idea this was a bad Hotel and to my nephew had said oh auntie that's one of the hotels I go to to hang out and I'm like oh my God no so if you just want to go in and lay down and have a good time and don't care about a hotel to stay in and go ahead but just for a Leisure and an enjoyment this hotel is not the right one we didn't have any hangers we had to go ask for some we asked him to come and spray the room for the roaches I left the drawer open for them to spray we got back we was gone all day and gave them dinner time to do this it was a little rough inside the drawer when I pulled it out so I left it there so when we got back it was still there so I went over I got one of the attendant and brought them back and showed them she apologized that was good but it was not right if you spit in your money you want to live in a clean comfortable room they kept telling me they just hired a new worker she was in they was in training so I told them well then you all need to go behind whoever this person is that you are training to see what they're doing that was spider webs all behind the bathroom door so no I did not enjoy myself in that room that's why we just slept got up and left we did not stay in that room at all and only to sleep and I don't think that's right one of my sisters Has breathing condition but they had mold in that room no matter how we sprayed it not got) smell out of there we told them several times and they did nothing.
- vickief447 (2/5): Econo Lodge Forrest City I-40-- Not Hotel it’s Better Suited as ‘Motel’ as a Brief Stopovers Stay - The room & service were substandard. We reserved 3 rooms reserved, 2 out of 3 were in substandard condition. The issues we encountered were numerous & unacceptable:
-Overpowering mildew odor.
-Spider webs&visible spiders.
-Dusty furniture & poorly cleaned surfaces.
-Holes in the walls.
-No iron or clothes hangers.
-Poorly functioning refrigerator.
-Shower rod partially dismounted.
-TV required manual activation.
-No phone or intercom to contact the front desk.
-Unattractive curtains & short rods prevented full privacy.
-Dingy, unkempt linens & flat pillows, below standard.
-Inconsistent or no hot water at times.
-A roach was seen.
-Large potholes in the entrance area.
-Shower curtains that did extend fully.
-Shower made noise.
The lack of quality room and service made my entire stay ‘unenjoyable,’ and those with respiratory issues should not stay there until improvements are made.
- Sarahi (3/5): Poor -
- Lydia (2/5): - It was run down and dirty. The staff was nice, but they really need to hire a new cleaning lady and put some money into maintaining the property.
- Jackie (6/5): - my feet were dirty from walking arpund barefoot in the bathroom, not a good sign
- Patts (8/5): Perfectly fine, off main road, quiet and safe. - Large rooms, older style, great blockout blinds, 2 soaps, shampoo, conditioner moisturiser, coffee. Beds were comfy, blankets, and sheets. Quite and safe area. Drive up parking. Small bathroom but outside wash sink. Plenty of towels. Clean. Basic breakfast, cereal and coffee. Decaffeinated coffee.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jc (8/5): Very good -
- Danielle (4/5): - It smelled clean but it felt dirty. I think that they shouldn’t advertise continental breakfast if it was only cereal and also the lamps were rusted and the walls were missing paint. I think little small touches would bring more business and better reviews and maybe bring in some fruit and bagels to add to the breakfast at the very least. The staff was really nice though.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- cneshia (10/5): - Not fancy but good for price
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jc (10/5): This place was awesome clean leaves smells real good - Convenience
- Michele (5/5): it was OK - I like the staff they were very courteous and polite & professional from the front desk to the cleaning service🤗 I didn’t like the curtains they needed to be replaced. They needed more hot water and they needed to paint and replace some of the furniture
- vinay (6/5): - Good
- Laura G (8/5): - I would have given it a 5 but, the blankets had a bad smell like they needed to be washed othen than that it was great!
- Julie (5/5): Passable -
- Natalie (9/5): Superb -
- Baker (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brown (10/5): Exceptional - it was exactly what you would prefer.
- Gary (2/5): Nasty Place. - You can feel all the wires on the mattress, and bathtub was was dirty. Make sure you look at your final bill when you have a pet.
- Larry (2/5): Stay Away - This was second worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Dirty, broken, and uncomfortable. We has a guy above us that stomped the floor until midnight. The TV was horrible. There were no usb outlets. The shower curtain did not cover the shower, so water went all over the floor. I have stayed in hotels all over the wprld and the only one worse than this was in Morroco.
- 318patraveler (6/5): Good for overnight. - The Good: Bed was comfortable. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The not so good: Room was beat up. Holes and gouges in walls and bathroom door. One chair in the room was not fit to sit on. Breakfast was subpar. Three kinds of cereal all fit for a child. Cocoa puffs, Trix and frosted flakes. Better than nothing but not by much. Chose this hotel based on low rate so didn't expect much but have stayed in other econolodges that were in better condition.
- Fred (6/5): Pleasant -
- Carol (8/5): We would stay again. - Breakfast was okay. The bed was great. Front desk clerks were great. Microwave didn’t work well.
- Widner (5/5): Passable -
- Mary (5/5): Passable - Price
- ROBERT (6/5): Don't Count on Breakfast - I was charged an extra nine dollars and changed for some kind of reservation. They could not tell me what it was for and could not complete my check-in. The breakfast was a joke: Cold cereal, stale muffins, and very weak coffee/
- Kari (3/5): Poor - Absolutely nothing The room wasn’t cleaned and carpet was filthy. I requested a refund and went to another hotel
- Evelyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nils (8/5): - I did not expect much, so it was fine.
- Savanah (10/5): Exceptional - It was wonderful I can't wait to do it again z
- Mykea (2/5): - My stay was absolutely horrible! I had my grandchild with me,the room was unsanitary we were bitten all night by mosquitoes,we didn’t get any sleep and the front desk had no solution to the problem. I recommend if you can get a room anywhere else but there.
- Maria (2/5): - Roches on bed ....couldn't sleep told front desk and they only said ok will spray tomorrow
- Rochelle (1/5): TERRIBLE ROOM AND NASTY!!! - Had double beds both had dirty( pop tracks in the middle of sheets with hair), bathroom had hair in sink and tub, carpet had debris everywhere, knats flying through out room … I brought my own Clorox bleach to reclean bathroom and Lysol to spray for sanitation!! I’ve never seen anything like this before!! Didn’t take any money off from for the inconvenience!! JUST A NASTY ROOM!! I could go on and on.. NASTY TOWELS AND YELLOW STAINS… TERRIBLE STAY!! I won’t let a dog stay HERE!!
